Since I moved to the obscure hamlet of Wisbech I hadn't been out in my heels. Partially nerves, partially timing, and a whole lot of lack of confidence. However, recent chats with my lovely lodger (Hi Samantha) has given me one hell of a boost. So I went to work today in 3inch block heeled boots. Timing was good as I knew I"d be the only one in the office all day, confidence was high as I was comfortable and the nerves never got a look in. No one turned around and offered arrogant remarks, infact I think few people noticed at all. He he.. apart from the bosses missus on the way out the office. I do know however that without Sam boosting my confidence and you guys being so open I probably wouldn't have stepped out again for a long while. Doc

Now that is a website and a half. Damn, could easily spend a fortune in there and still want to go back for more......

There are those of us who do wear them in the countryside... but I've found the reactions can be quite different especially with the obnoxious youth of today. A reaction I used to get in Oxford seems to be somewhat of the norm, some people take a second look, occasional people offering compliments. But steer clear of walking through country towns when the schools out. Teenage girls have eyes like hawks and high pitched voices when they scream. he he Back to topic, I have seen several people in oxford in the past couple of years wearing block heel and stiletto heeled boots. They were a significant boost to me.. reminded me I wasn't alone Doc

Sigh... There is an absolutely adorable pair of 2inch heel pure white ankle boots, with pointed toe, sitting in a shop window on my way to and from work. They have been there for a good couple of weeks and every day I walk past and wish that I was a size 7. You see these boots, gods gift to feet are only fifteen pounds and they cry out every damn day.
