  1. Congrats hh , like the sandals and I am envious of you having the opportunity to wear heels to a party. I am a lucky man also as my wife is accepting of me wearing heels. I haven't tried wearing them out with her yet but I hope too soon. Just as an aside you might try painting your nails or better yet get a pedicure for the next party:cheeky:

  2. Up until now I had confined my heel shopping to on-line sites, however after ordering a pair from Pay-Less that had to be returned I took the plunge and took them back to the store. Needless to say I was nervous but that soon faded as the young lady working there was so pleasant and made me feel at ease by telling me she had several other male customers that enjoy heels. She took her time and pointed out some heels I might like and which ones were the easiest to walk in. She also steered me towards the DexFlex booties that I wore out for my maiden voyage in public. She also introduced me to her other sales lady (also very young) and made me feel right at home. I have been back more than once and will continue to patronize this store.

These are the heels she steered me too which I love but probably would not have tried without her input.

  3. I finally broke the ice and wore my new high heel booties out and about, first a walk through Kohls then a trip to Best Buy. I think I caught 2 or 3 people that noticed, lol one and old lady that saw me walking across the parking lot and almost hit another car, however it was so liberating to finally go out in public.

  4. Thanks for the reply.

I am still wondering a few things that you might have observed.

How does a store display such a costly item?

Did they come in a variety sizes?

How many pairs of shoes were on display?

What was the least expensive you noticed?

Was there a SA close by?

    How busy was the store?

Was there any customers trying on shoes?

Here ya go Jet, they were displayed right out in the shelf like any other shoe store, all of the display sizes seemed to be around a 5 or 6. I didn't ask about other sizes, lol whats the point. There was everything from basic pumps to strappy heels and booties on display, best guess maybe 80-90 pairs? Least expensive I saw was roughly $600.00 basic pumps and I do mean basic. LOL clerk was within 15 feet at all times or between us and the door, and the clerk was male, watched like a hawk. Actually there were quite a few people in the store but I didn't see anyone trying on shoes. Most were like me just drooling. Oh and this applies to the Loubiton store as well, but I was shocked when I saw Loubiton actually has men's shoes as well as sneakers, and yes the sneakers even have red soles.

  5. nerol69 - Sorry - It was not my intention to bash your post.

    I deeply appologize to you.

My thought was what makes them worth that amount - not that you had the chance to hold them in your hands.  I would have been terrified to actually hold them myself for the fear of "You broke it- you buy it" being invoked for some reason.

Congratulations on your memorable experience and do not let my thought tarnish your experience.

apology accepted jetheels, no hard feelings. It's just that was the first time I had ever seen a pair of Choo's or Loubitons anywhere in person. LOL after all it Was Caesers Palace. Only thing I can do there is look :online2long:

  6. Just got back from my yearly trip to Vegas. Had the most amazing time at Ceasers Palace, a Jimmy Choo store has been added to the mall. Can't believe I actually got to hold a $3000 pair of open toed booties in a yellow snake skin color. It was allI could do to not drool, then lo and behold right across the mall was a Loubiton store, oh my, it was so exciting to actually see and hold these magnificent heels.

  7. Hiding from wife? Not a good idea. When she finds them, and she eventually will, she will wonder what else are you hiding from her. Could be a really big and expensive mistake.

Ditto from me, share the fun, I have a pair of high heel slides that I wear for house shoes. Dont hide your love for heels, it will only cause you problems.
  8. Not sure if this thread should be here or in the "infirmary" but here goes. I found a really great product in Vegas the last time I was there called "Coochy Shaving Lotion" Since there are several male members that prefer shaved legs, myself being one of them, this might be of interest. The lotion is loaded with Aloe so my legs dont feel dried out after a close shave with a Schick Hydro 5 razor and it has a really nice fragrance. This gives silky smooth results and helps tremendously with any razor burn. It can be purchased on Amazon.
