  1. ALL men wear heels and it's totaly accepted...but no one calls them heels. Biker/electrician boots are steel toe leather boots with a 2.5" heel and a 1" platform. Cowboy boots have a 2.5" heel. Most steel toe boots have a 1.5"-2" heel with 0.5" platform. Riding boots which is either cowboy boots and biker/electrician. I got a pair of these. Harley Davidson --------- Forgot to mention Combat boots. They too have a 2.5" heel with 1" platform.

  2. All points taken one point remains unsaid but tieing the two together. Now being fair how to answer this. Those that have transitioned gender then marry. Are they not a Man and a Woman? In some courts which are lead by biggots and ignore what a physical appernace says, ignore what the birth certificate says but instead remain fixed on what was before the transition. Making a the now physical man and woman but either a man-man or woman-woman. Being fair is to let them marry and not dig up the past, go with the here and now. In terms of addressing each other it is STILL husbend and wife, man and woman. And some times there is this. Both involved transitioned genders before man and womand and after womand and man. How ever out of spit it is STILL denied by those same courts.

  3. Now here's something. There is the birth age...when you were burn and this is what most people go by. There is your phyiscal age...how old your body is in health, the medical community will look at this more. Then there is what age you look...Most models and media look at this. LOTS of people say dress your age. Well if you look like a twenty year old, then you have by all rights to dress like a twenty year old.

  4. Depends on the shoes base style is what type of toe you'll have to work with. Or what type of toe you like is what styles you have to look at. Heel heigth will also adjust things more, not counting platforms. Office shoes: Almound, Court, Elongated. Every day: Almound, Court, Open toe Evening: Strapy, Court, Open toe Goth: Round, Almound, Square, Open toe Work: Court, Almound, Square 1"-3": All types are found. 4": lose the Round, Square 5": lose the Elongated and Strapy 6": only the Court 7": is ballet boots (unless you have feet in the US Womans size 12+ you wont find 7" heel pumps). Now Ballet heels have a toe box all their own. But some the toe box is more flexiable then others...for safety and health reasons when walking less flexable is best. Devious is too flexable and with it's too long heel just makes this point even more by level is leaning into the toe.

  5. Here's some info. Heel heigth is measured from the round of the heel to the floor. Not the actual length of the heel material. Also the angle of the sule of the shoe will adjust with the size of the shoe...as the heel heigth goes up so does the smallest shoe size that can work with that heel heigth and be walkable so most manufacturers will make only from X size up. Flat to 3" safe to go the actual size you where with out being too small. 3" and up go a whole size up as the higher heels are useualy nerrower...these are not in half sizes so might need to go one and a half size up. This is a general rule posted EVERYWHERE. Now you can get pads that can go in the shoes to fill up the gap of larger shoes. But that wasn't their intended purpus and not until gel's came out foot pads couldn't work like that. Some manufacturers run small or run large, you can find them out by reading reviews so farther adjust accordingly. The material on a shoe the less closer to a sung fit it needs to be. Shoes with straps you likely need to go at least 1 size larger in order to not be wearing the shoe on the very last hole or not even reach the last hole. I'm actualy good enough in checking reviews for the shoe in question, manufacturer history, shoe size estamating that I can order once and never need to adjust or return. Though I am lucky enough to have a foot in the worlds most common size US Womens 7-8. Though in the fetish shoe world this size foot IS not common but a US womans size 10-12 is. Some shoes are just a problem and require adjusting and no way around it. Pleaser's Devious ballet boots...they are listed 7" heel but really 8" heel. True ballet heels are matched tot he shoe size not fixed to a length.

  6. More hose is worn with heels then with out. In colder weather it is even more commen. Though some recent fashion trends have made it workable to be with out hose even in cold weather. Though that would be more on the wearers tolerence for cold. I can tell you in snow, with out hose the snow sticks to the skin and is VERY cold to unberable plus it is melting on contact. But with hose, the snow doesn't melt on contact resulting in no cold feeling and can then be easily brushed off before going inside.

  7. Actualy this comes at a point like men wearing womens tennis shoes. Thier own bone, muscle and fat build. some men have small enough feet that the only way to get adult shoes small enough is to get womens if they don't want to pay extra for a special order. Same goes with the pants, if the guy has hips and/or a butt they can not get mens to fit with out going to a size where putting on a belt creates a 4" or larger fold in the back. Now with tops most men wear overly bagging clothing any way..unless they want it more tighter and their chest matchs their legs they wear smaller then what is on the self/rack for mens.

  8. Depends on how it is being worn, it's more like what is more visaly pleasing. A guy in the same outfit as me...full baerd and all hairy like that with budling muscles, yeah it's not working. Like when a seeing someone naked that you don't know eve if it is a stature or painting...which is more pleasing to look at (more then 80% of the populas will say the female form) even if their sexual preference is male they will still prefore to see a female naked. But as a turn off, actualy seeing men in womens clothing would be 80% populas wanting that as a turn on. Men started the wearing of heels around 1500. The spike stilettos as we know them now didn't take form until the 1970's. There was stilettos much older, back to the 1630's. In the 1700's there was actualy a ban for excess foot wear in the americas (those the start of the break of men in fashion). Until 1900 men lead the fashion industry for heeled foot wear. Then it was like WWI and the industrial revolution put a stop to men even being in the fashion industry (this is actualy the first time the Americas actualy stepped out intot he world and became a world power of their own)....or was just a misconception in the general sociteys idea's. Up until around 1900 ALL heeled foot wear was boots either knee or ankle, but around 1900 the pump shoe was introduced to the americas. If it was not for WWI and the industrial revulotion the rest of world would be seeing men STILL in heels as a fashion statment. So you only got like 100 years of biggitry that stayed strong only for 70 years. So as the ones that came to age (ie: 25 yrs) before the 1950's die off more and more people will revort back to how things were before. On stage up until the 1650's Women could not preform on stage, it was men that did the roles of women. Even now it is fully accepted for men to be women on stage. For just even set, costum design and role practicing resigns they have to go out in public areas and mengle. Looking through history and popularty polls. You'll find that the world is not ran by the majorty but by the minority. It takes 100's or 1000's to win to make a good feeling, but only takes 1 to lose to make a bad feeling.

  9. I buy for both. But due to working conditions and locations can't wear heels :winkiss: Not a working or dress code policy but a terrian conflict. Most of my heels just to have a heel and still beable to walk around unhindered are wedges. The area I live unless going to be staying indoors or know pavement will be there most of the time I can't wear stilettos.

  10. Though I'm not a guy I don't fully relait. But I GREATLY feel for the not finding your size on the store self. Having a common size foot brings the same problem as a large foot. My size is usealy out of stock even the next size up is out. Ehich leaves either coming back later that week or next week. Or just buying online....found buying online unless getting at like Wal-Mart, Meijer, or Target. Got a Kohls and Macys in the area but those are VERY costly for just causal everyday wear. Payless here is a BIG joke. Now there is a couple shoe only stores that have like 10k on floor stock but they have next to no heels =.= Which buying at Target if you can't find it in the store get on Amazon.com which then you buy from the stock in ANY Target store since Amazon is Targets online retailer

  11. Before I got mine I looked around at reviews, videos and other postings. No local store closer then 3 hours drive would have any. I got 1 pair Devious size 8 which have an actual 8" heel measured from the round of the heel. And got 1 pair Punitive, which measure around 6.9" The widely suggested are actualy the older ones which the TLSB and Devious look like...but the TLSB can be stood/walked with out shorterning the heel, but alas TLSB went out of business well before I ventured they thought of getting them. ALL the other sites that have them is just the Pleaser/Devious ones. Leaving Punitive about the best and only place for online stores. From looking at the videos posted other then the LONG time fetish wearers it's only Deviuos or Punitive in them. As for the videos of people gracfuly walking it's the Punitive...not so gracefully the Devious. If looking for just boundage wear...go cheap and get the Devious. If looking to walk in them, expect to spend at least $300.

  12. Though likely late for the project...but I joined not long ago. 1. Why do you wear high heels? (e.g. confidence, make you taller, sexier etc) More comfortable then flats. 2. Where do you wear them to? (everyday, clubbing, just for the bedroom) Everywhere. 3. How do they make you feel? Can't really tell as I try to where them all the time as regular foot wear. 4. How many pairs of heels do you own? Over 20 5. What is the most amount you have spent on a pair? $340 6. How many pairs to you buy a year? 6 7. What is you favourite height of heel? 3"-5" Most shoes with a wedge are made with 3", recently all you can find is 4" if no wedge. Ordering online they are mostly 5". 8. Do you mainly buy heels to follow the latest trend, they are really sexy and high or (name any other reason) Some work enviroments have a dress code on the thing, like closed toe pump only. Then if you wear heels all the time you just have to get fancier for those black tie events.

  13. One of the lucky few to be born with a natural foot arch for a 3" heel. Which I can go to and from any heel heigth at will and with no practice. Also been wearing heels since I was born..just what my mother got me. I can even do a full on run in heels...though not a sprint. Walking in heels is THE best way to work on balence next to Ballet.

  14. Where I live the WHOLE area is like that. Even though I'm 2 hours out of Chicago. Eveyone where flipflops or tennis shoes, t-short and jeans, or sweats....almost never anything else. Here I am with all my shoes having at least a 3" wedge...live out in the country area so alot of grassy yards and dirt paths/drives. Stilettos just wont work. I'm also wearing skirts from the knee up all the time, or short shorts. Fitted tops or cap sleve Ts. Some times a corset underneth.

  15. I live in Michigan currently. But in the Michiana area which is southern Michigan and Northern Indiana. Occasionally traveling to Chicago area. Likely moving to Dayton/Cincinnati area. I do PC desktop/network build/repair/consulting mostly. But hobby in PC gaming, Tabletop gaming, Military hardware. Worked in residential construction, security, event setup. I've gone to school for Computer science, Design Drafting (Table/Computer), Tool and Die, Machine shop, machine design, aeronaughtical design. I'm a natural with physical science...I just know the stuff. I've got over 20 pairs of shoes, all but 3 are over 3" heel. Having a size 7 womans foot makes finding shoes hard due to it being an over common size...flat-2.5" size 7 3"+ size 8. For those that didn't know when getting heels of 3"+ get them a size up round up to the nearest whole size. So a 6.5 womans would get a size 8, otherwise things like the toe box and strap lengths will be too small....not all manufactures are the same, some run small/narrow or large/wide. So before being any, try them on if you can't research as many reviews as you can. 2 Ballet heels (Devious and Punitive) From an engineering point of view the Devious IS too long of a heel for the toe/foot if the shoe size is under a size 10 woman's then again too short if over a size 14 woman's. Pleaser with their Devious have a set length for theirs at 8" measured correctly from the round of the heel though listed 7". Punitive on the other hand match the heel length to the shoe size, albeit ALOT (over 3 times that of Devious) bit pricey anyone looking at walking in them get the Punitive ones. I can work up a drawing of angle measuring for the Devious boots showing what can be done with out throwing out weight stress balance. I have 2 winter knee boots with a 3" wedge. A tennis shoe with a 3" wedge. Harley Davidson steel toed boots with a 3" heel. 3 sandal's 3"-5". An Espadrille 3". Several pumps with various designs open/closed toe, ankle strap w/wo 2"-5". A couple other shoes biking, running, beach and what not. Plan on picking up some gladiator styles and many others. High heels are just the most comfortable shoes...unless working around inclined surfaces, lots of grating, or soft dirt/sand (at least a wedge can beused with grating or dirt/sand but inclined if the heel really does need to be 3" or less. HEED these warnings for the ballet heels, if you are heavy enough and have not cut off enough length on the Devious's heel the heel might bend or break due to the weight stress being at the wrong angle...natural forces will push them selves to level off adjusting the heel to a sloped back angle. If you walk heavy enough own weight excluded but PSI pressure on the downward motion of stepping can actually bend the heel into the toe instead of out from the toe box even if you have already shortened the heel. These can be prevented by putting a cross support between the toe box and the heel.
