  1. Two aspects -

Regular wear - unless knowing I'll be using a male changing room always tights and knickers as socks cause circulation problems from the elastic tops. Also from time to time support tights, especially if driving a long distance. Wife has got used to this as she understands the practical need. In fact I wear hose more often that she does and in role reversal she will sometimes ask to borrow a pair of my tights! I have on occasion in summer openly worn nude colour support hose out in public with shorts and (male style) sandals but admittedly not on my own street.

Either for fun in private/or hidden when out - stockings, leotards, unitards, girdles and shapewear, the occasional skirt etc. Wife does not really like this so rarely when she is around. One of these days, hopefully, she will agree for a fancy dress party night.

  2. Ultra heels would be too much for me but I would love my wife to lock me into my medium height pair of ankle boots on an occasion when she is going out for the day. Unfortunately although I bought the boots with two strap sets (i.e. the normal buckle straps and the alternative locking set ) in the hope she would do it when I asked it was a fetish progression too far. I love her too much to cause the major argument by asking again but I have occasionally worn them locked on for a standing self bondage session with a melting ice release.

  3. Despite the responses above the study is undoubtedly relevant. Draw a parallel, how many of you when boarding a train would look at it as a piece of equipment to be identified; a rail-fan would notice, a train spotter would even record the identifying number. The people who read this forum are the high-heel equivalent of the train spotter, we look and we notice footwear! Also elsewhere in the heels for men section on this board there are posts effectively saying to the timid male - go ahead, if you wear your shoes under long trousers, most people won't notice. So as stated above - the study is undoubtedly relevant and actually bears out some of the posts made in the Heels for men section of this very forum.

  4. Why not pick up the phone and ask them?

Partly due to a dislike of phones but mainly because I have found from previous experience over many years that a yes answer from a retailer may not be entirely truthful and feedback via a forum like this is impartial.

Once bitten twice shy - Another supplier, I stress not Banana, has a well advertised shop but does not state that when you get there most items in larger sizes are not ex-stock items nor are they available to try on via the shop. That experience wasted the time on the motorway detour and around 80 miles of extra driving. As I couldn't check fit & quality they lost the sale on that day and I am not going to buy from them (or anyone else) unseen on-line.

  5. I am starting to think most women can be open minded about men in heels unless it's their husband/boyfriend. Then most (obviously not all) have a hard time with it.

I think it is understandable. If I turn the idea around in my head there are some things women wear in the bedroom for fun I would like her to wear, but not in public where we are known and nor am I personally ready to come out like that other than perhaps at a fancy dress party.

Mine knows, and I think she would just tolerate a Rocky Horror trip for example in one of the big cities but not if our local cinema put it on.

Seriously though I find the problem is it eats and eats into me as an "I want to do activity", gets to fetish level, then the fact it is a fetish is the problem as the partner sees it is a rival to them.
