I'm not normally a fan of square toes either, but I saw these IRL and have decided I need them. Waiting for them to go on sale, though.
-
Yeah, I would say they feel close to 120s (w/out a platform), but slightly more comfortable. So that would mean it would be like walking in 4 13/16th's heel, all most 5.My gf is use to the 5in heels, and should be easy to walk in.
-
^^It's close to an inch and a half total, counting both platforms.
-
^^That second one is the Orlan 160.
-
^^I love the fact that they are so feminine. I actually recently acquired my second pair.
-
I haven't, but they are very reputable.
-
^^None of the above, actually. The Alti Pump 160 just went on sale at Barneys, 40% off. I was lucky enough to snag a pair on sale on net-a-porter a while ago. They are not on the special order list.

Hey you!Oh wow L.. i have been trying to search for a pic of a a pair of Pin-Ups with a 120 heel! They would look fabulous on you!
-
I own these! They are absolutely gorgeous IRL.I dont wear heels by the way! Had to a few times for a lashes and heels party but thats it!
-
They're trying to copy the Pigalle 100, it looks like, but those are fake.

Designer heels are an addiction I just can't shake!

I wish she'd learn how to correctly pronounce the names of the designers. How can one have so many ugly shoes?

There are a few other things this study did not take into account. Besides the fact that walking in any 4-inch heels for a mile would be uncomfortable, a lot of brand new shoes are uncomfortable period. The difference is that with the Louboutins (as with other high-end shoes), the high-quality leather is made so that over time it molds to your foot, so after an initial break-in period, they are super comfortable. I doubt the same could be said of the vinyl Payless shoes. Also, the Payless shoes hold pretty much no resale value. I am sure that I'd have a much easier time selling a used pair of CLs over 20 used pairs of Payless shoes. The CLs are a better investment in that way, especially if you can find them on sale! That said, although it is my personal preference to buy one pair of Loubs over 20 pairs of Payless, I don't look down on those who would choose the latter. To each his own.

I have fairly wide feet, and although not all styles fit me well, I have a pretty good collection of designer shoes. Also, I think sale prices tend to be better in the US, as well as selection. I paid retail price on only a few pairs, and less than 50% on many.

Oh, I'm quite familiar with the style, believe me. Unfortunately it's not one of the styles available for special order. I would definitely be willing to pay the 30% premium. Thank you, though!
-
^^Thanks, but those shoes are fake, and they're not even the same style. The shoes I'm looking for are from 2006 I believe, and very hard to find at this point. I've done tons of Google searches and haven't found anything.

They sound great! Why not post some pic's on the forum?
You may have noticed that the top row on the close up pic is all Louboutins, as are the brown boxes in the wardrobe.
I'm still a little shy about posting pics on here, but maybe I will soon. I notice that your wife and I have similar taste! I love the Alti Bootie (especially in that color), and I also have the Anemone in black.
-
Love all the Louboutins! I have the Altis in calf leather, but I love them in patent!
-
I am a Louboutin fanatic, though I've been loving Nicholas Kirkwood lately, too.
-
I choose mainly based on style. A high heel alone does not make a pretty/sexy shoe, IMO.
-
looks like CL Pigalle 130mm
The Pigalle only comes in 70, 100 and 120, although the actual heights vary according to size.
-
I have them in blue! They're gorgeous, aren't they?
-
Mine are just the regular Anemone, without feathers, in black. I think the Anemone Plume is lovely, but a little too over the top for me. If you can rock them, more power to you! Until I recently fell in love with Nicholas Kirkwood designs, I was pretty much a one-man woman. CL is what really got me started on designer shoes, and besides NK now, it's still the only label I really feel is worth the money, though I do like some of the YSL Tribute sandals.

As far as I have seen, the women's shoes only go up to size 42 (roughly US 12 but CL usually runs small), and that size is pretty rare.
