  1. Hi, I often love to go for walks in my black leather thigh high boots. More often than not, it's usually in places where there's lots of shops with large glass frontages, so I can see myself while I walk along. And only late at night when there's little chance of bumping into anybody else. Sometimes I meet people along the way and the reaction that happens inside me is either a) panic, where I try and walk away from the person(s) or :) don't care, where I can walk really close to people just to hear their reactions. When do you go out, and where? And what reactions do you have inside or get from others? If anybody is from Doncaster it would be cool to go for a walk in thigh boots together some evening? Let me know if anybody's up for that?

  2. Thankyou all for your kind comments. Roniheels, I've got to be honest it does take me a little while to build up the courage to get out of the car. As soon as I'm out of the car though, my nervous side is completely eradicated. It's a difficult experience to explain, it's almost akin to getting on a rollercoaster and waiting for it to set off on its windy way. You get all nervous for a start but its pretty cool once you're rolling :-)

  3. Firstly re:the name... Don't worry about it! I'm a very strong believer in self-expression and freedom of speech, thought, etc so have no issues with you using a similar alias :-) We're all here for a good time eh? Secondly I have absolutely no idea how to change alias, maybe Tech could shed some light on this (perhaps not in this thread though...) Thirdly, I appreciate it was a shopping experience, I wasn't meaning to imply that you were dressed 'en femme' whilst boot shopping. I merely wondered whether your wife accompanied you publicly whilst you were dressed 'en femme', as you mentioned you had purchased the dress etc. I was wondering if this was a purely private thing, that you did behind closed doors so to speak, or if you publicly displayed your dress preference? And finally, welcome to HHPlace on behalf of everybody - hope you have a good time whilst amongst us in this community. -bootedup

  4. Thighbootguy I really enjoy reading the stories of your excursions out. My tales of trips out certainly pale in comparison. However, I've recently been out and about in the evenings wearing my black matt thigh boots either with my leather skirt, or over the top of jeans. Here's a few pics of recent excursions. Note it is dark, there were a few people out and about but not many. It's been a while since I last went out and about so these recent outings were kind of confidence-rebuilders. Cast a look all, let me know your thoughts... -bootedup

  5. Hmm. Sounds like you had quite a day there. So, would it be correct to surmise that your wife doesn't like being in the vicinity when you are purchasing new boots, but enjoys accompanying you whilst you are dressed 'en femme?' - the original 'bootedup' :)

  6. Hmmm some interesting reading... Thanks everybody for your comments in my earlier post it's nice to get some feedback hmm? ...oh that's right how silly of me! Of course, nobody has replied to my last post in this thread.

  7. Generally perspiration isn't something I suffer from whilst wearing my thigh boots, although my outings are primarily during the late evening when the ambient temperature is slightly cooler. I have had a couple of outings recently during the day (see my last post in http://www.hhplace.org/guys/3267-guys_skirts_heels-28.html.

Here's a couple of pics of some outings in Newark and Lincoln in my thigh boots over my jeans. Got myself a new addition too - the black wig when it's brushed makes me feel more confident out and about because it's almost certain nobody will recognise me - and that it a must as far as I'm concerned. I love being out and about in my boots - its such a rush, I just don't want anybody I know to know other than my girlfriend. Who knows, maybe that will change in time...

Couple of pics for you, apologies for the poor quality my phone's camera aperture has a lot of dust in there at the moment, and it doesn't pick up too well at night-time. Let me know your thoughts!

  8. Hi danielp, I don't know what legislation regarding wearing high heels whilst driving is in force in the UK, but I do know that I've been stopped by police (random checks might I add) on at least five occasions when I've been wearing heels. Two of those occasions were mid-last year and both times I was wearing my patent thigh highs under my jeans, so only the platform and an inch or two of the heel showing. No comments were made regarding these. The rest were this year and each time I was wearing my boots over my jeans, the first occasion was by an officer in a skoda octavia, who didn't mention anything about my heels. The second time I was doing about 45mph in a 30mph zone at 2am, and was pulled over by an officer on the side of the road. This guy didn't mention anything about my boots but he was a top guy - he just told me to steady down, he appreciated that there was absolutely no traffic, and the area was completely deserted and open, so he let me go on my way trouble-free but with the message to "just steady down a bit lad." The final occasion was as mentioned in my previous post, where I jumped straight out of the car, wearing my matt thigh highs. Maybe insurance companies would have something to say in the event of an accident, but if you drive safely and can still "feel" the car whilst you are driving it, and you are comfortable driving (not putting any unnecessary stress on your feet for example) then, and only then, are you able to decide whether or not to wear heels while driving. My point, after all that, is that on a number of occasions of being stopped, not once have I been told "you're not allowed to wear those." AND the officers treated me with huge respect each time, I wasn't made into a laughing stock or paraded round town with a white jumper and black arrows all over it. They let me go on my way with no problems at all...

  9. Thanks, tallguyinheels. These aren't a tight-fit jean that I'm wearing in the pics, they're actually 34L bootcut (male size/style) jeans so I can wear the boots either under or over as my mood suits. If I wear the boots over the jeans, I fold the leg of the jean so its nice and flat, and roll my socks up over the bottom in order to facilitate easy on or off with the boots. Thanks for the comments! ;) BU

  10. Hi all, I've finally had time to sort some pics of my new matt-finish thigh high boots. These are the ones that I went out to Peterborough in recently, although I have had several outings since in public wearing these over my jeans. I love the rush of it! Okay I'm apprehensive for the first few minutes before getting out of the car but once I get past that, its great fun to wander around in these. People don't react negatively the majority of the time, most people don't seem at all bothered that I wear these over my jeans like in the pictures, and only a few make any sort of acknowledgement or comment, usually positive. I got stopped by the police the other night whilst wearing these, and jumped straight out of the car before they came up to me. They treated me with dignity and respect and the female officer actually asked "how on earth do you drive in those?" She clearly couldn't believe I could actually walk in them so when I walked up and down for her briefly she was gobsmacked heh heh. Thighbootguy your tales are very interesting, often your stories are akin to the experiences I have. Let's face it people:- society is becoming far more tolerant of people who want to do their own thing, no matter how far from the "norm" it is. You've only got to read through a handful of posts to realise that people will not mutilate you for doing your own thing. Although do be careful not to stray into untrustworthy neighbourhoods as often things can be very unpredictable in those areas. Thanks all for taking the time to read, let me know what you think to my new boots :-) BU

  11. Hi again all, first post for a little while. I don't mean to hijack the thread at all but I had an interesting outing the other night. Went for a stroll through Peterborough the other night, and took both my patent thigh boots (the ones in my avatar) and another pair that I've just bought that are a matt finish with a 4.5" heels, 3/4 zip and lace-up back. Wore both pairs the other evening in full view over my jeans. Went to George and Asda, and got many looks although not one person made a comment. Wandered round the entire store, a couple of girls started laughing but from what I overheard they were just surprised to see me in my thigh high boots, but by the sounds of it thought I carried them off well. Went to the huge Tesco later on too, so had to walk through the indoor precinct. I don't know why but I find it intriguingly sexy to see my boots in the reflection of all the glass windows. Anyway, whilst wandering round again I got a lot of looks, and also some positive comments from a couple of girls in there. I had two walks round the store, once in my patents and the other in my new matt thigh high boots, as I wanted to see what reactions they got. Got a couple of wolf-whistles from some young 'uns (couple of lads with a few lasses) so turned round and gave a wiggle and a smile (heh heh). After this I decided to go for a walk in both pairs successively through the precinct in Peterborough. It was quite late at night so quite a number of people going out and about for a night out in the pubs/clubs etc. I thoroughly enjoyed walking around in my boots, although each and every time I do get a bit nervous before getting out of the car. Once out of the car though the rest is easy-peasy and gives me such a thrill/rush that I don't want to go home again afterwards. The key thing I am finding though is that people don't seem to comment publicly (although there was one girl who was walking toward me from the opposite direction who walked across directly to me and asked "what's the occasion? they look really sexy, i wish i could walk in those"). Has anybody else had any other public outings recently? TBG I find your outings very interesting and admire your persistence. Thanks everybody, I'll get some pics of the new boots put up soon! -BU

  12. Hi hiheellover23, thankyou for your kind words. I do love wearing my platform boots, they feel fantastic and it's so much fun wandering out and about in them. People don't always appear to know exactly how to deal with the image of a lad in heels, especially these :-) Reflecting on that last statement of mine however, I can't really think of anybody having a negative reaction, sometimes there are a few people that look at you funny but give 'em a wink and a wiggle and they soon laugh with you :-) I like the red platforms in your avatar, would be cool to see a few pics of them... And girls, any more thoughts?

Well I'm a little bit downhearted that so far only BeeGirl had been good enough to offer her opinion :-( (thanku BeeGirl :winkiss: )

Currently we're at three hundred and something views but only six replies (including this one) so I've put a link directly to the Gallery where my boot pics are held. Have a look and please, please tell me what you think. Say anything girls please I'm after any feedback at all...

And guys I'm opening this one up to you too, any feedback is welcome.

  14. So to finish off my original thought in the previous post, as after reading it again just now I realize I didn't summarize the whole point of the last post, I generally go out and about in predominantly masuline clothing yet have no worries about wearing feminine clothing in public either. It doesn't change who I am...

  15. Wel if that is the boots you have on your avator, they absolutely :winkiss::thumbsup::silly:, please help as I really would like to go and look at your pics, but I just can not find it!!!!!

Hi BeeGirl, thankyou for your kind words. If you click on my avatar it should take you to my profile (I think) and the pics are on there. All feedback is welcomed :-) They're definitlely my favourite pair

  16. Apologies all as I am reasonably new here... Not trying to cause harm, just after opinions. Please feel free to ofer any opinions as I am really wanting to know people's thoughts on my boots. Incidentally I had them re-heeled today and they're a 1/4 inch taller at the heel now. The cobbler was very friendly, and even complimented them even with a shop full of customers (full in this instance meaning four other customers - it's a pretty "cosy" little shop...)

  17. Firstly please accept my apologies for posting in this section of the forum, you may delete this thread if you deem it unacceptable. I would really like a female-only perspective on my boots:- what are your thoughts about them? Positive, neutral and negative comments are welcomed. There are pictures in the Gallery, so please would you have a look and offer your honest thoughts. My girlfriend really digs them, and I enjoy going out in public wearing them under jeans (a pic of how they look under jeans is in the Gallery too). Thankyou in advance to all who offer their opinions. Take care :-)

  18. i wear heels because my legs are too short to reach the ground.

Hahahaha I've hurt my sides that one made me laugh so much it's unreal :winkiss:

I voted 'other' as I wear them for the thrill, I enjoy being alternative and yeah I do enjoy the femininity associated with them. Plus my girlfriend is really turned on by them so that's a major bonus too.

    I love my boots!!

  19. Firstly hi jimslimbs and thanks for your insights. Also welcome to hhplace (not sure that I'm in the best position to say 'welcome' as I've only very recently come out from behind the curtains myself.) In agreement with Bubba136, it really does make a difference if you start a thread in this section (Hellos, Goodbyes & Introductions) and introduce yourself. It's a great community, so why not say 'hi'.

Do what you like! You only get one life!

For sure! One life, live it the way you want to live it... Btw the Kiss 275s are very sexy shoes, although I'm exclusively into boots personally...

  20. ...and I walked out of the local Safeway...

I've done a lot of driving about whilst wearing my boots, and I did have an episode where I thought "sod it" and went into the local Somerfield fully booted up one evening. It was a *HUGE* rush, possibly because of the thought that I could quite easily have run into somebody that I knew. But that has only ever happened once. After thinking about it in depth afterwards it dawned on me that if any of my family or friends had been there, I'd've been in serious doo-doo. There is only my girlfriend that knows and that's the way I want to keep things at the moment.

...some would consider something was wrong with me or would be very judgmental...

This is one of the reasons I keep things under wraps. Whilst I really don't care what other people think of me, if my family and friends become involved its a completely different matter. I can easily deal with the minority that find it amusing to point and laugh. It only adds to my own amusement as I turn round to them and ask "what - have I got something on my jeans?" Only to lift my jeans leg up to "inspect" it, thus revealing the lower leg of my boots and completely shocking those who were laughing in the first place. Who said silence was golden? They were right heh heh... Especially shocked silence... ;-)

Whoa, stop the press, someone has stolen part of my name!...which model pleaser boots are they...?

LOL whoops wasn't aware of your name when I signed up, I was fully booted up so the name I chose seemed quite apt. As for the model of boots I'm not entirely sure which ones they are. I got them from Alternative Footwear in Ramsbottom, near Bury. Saw them on their website (I'm sure a search on t'interweb will reveal their location), and thought it'd be cool to go to their shop and have a look. Had a drive up there one day and was amazed at the selection they had of all sorts of sexy boots. Tried several pairs on in the shop (the staff were very friendly) and ended up buying these ones for about £70. Will have to have another trip up there soon...

  21. Do you sometime wear them fully exposed over jeans ?

I have only worn them over the jeans once whilst out in public. I do wear them fully exposed around the house with no second thoughts. The gf *loves* them on me so doesn't mind me wandering around with these in full view.

  22. My jeans aren't tight fitting but in the same breath they're not massively baggy either. I usually put on my boots first, then pull my jeans on afterwards. The boots are hidden (except for the heel ;-)) and I can still enjoy them. I've posted some pics in the Gallery area so you can see how they look...

  23. Thankyou all for your responses. JimC its great that you like my boots, I take it as a massive compliment especially after seeing the photos of you in your ballets up close. They look incredible!

Pay close attention to that amazing girl on your arm.

My girl means the world to me and she is very much aware of that. We have an ace time together, it's very surreal to me that she enjoys watching and walking with me in my boots.

you've obviously lost your head over these boots!

Hahaha wondered how long it'd be before somebody mentioned the edited photos. Have to make sure my identity is protected just on the off-chance that anybody I know visits this site and sees my pictures. Hope nobody minds...

Whilst I enjoy wandering around in public in my heels, I'm a bit dubious about people I know finding out just yet. Does anybody else find this to be the case for their public outings - you have to go out where you're unlikely to meet anybody you know?

P.S. Here's a pic of me in my boots, as worn under the jeans. This is how I would've looked when I went out the other night.

Hiheellover23, thankyou for your kind words ;-)

Happyfeat, I can't imagine what must've been going through the minds of the guys in the van especially given what they were doing - but I found it amusing walking by in my heels...
