  1. Where I live in Idaho, the winters are long and the snows deep. I think Uggs look good on women if they are the type that is not too bulky and worn on the outside of their jeans. I have two pair myself and started wearing them too.

  2. My ex who I thought of all people would approve would scream at me to take them off. As for current girlfriends... I kind of break them in ever so gradually. I mostly have unisex shoes anyway. I start out with clogs with a heel or my old standby, 3" heeled cowboy boots. (after all I do live in the American west. Then in the summer, I'll wear strappy leather flat sandals. And of course women like to go through your closet when you're not looking so I'll leave a pair of mid heel sandals or boots out with all my normal shoes just to see if they mention it. But all my pumps and high heel dress boots are in a secret box in my storage room. I never met any one who would allow me to wear those in front of them. I'm not sure if I would really wear them out anyway as it's not a city here and there isn't a whole lot of pavement. But maybe on a trip. I'm thinking maybe the next step is to leave out a really sexy pair out in the the bedroom floor. It would just be so awesome of a woman would ask me to put them on before making love. Maybe someday.

  3. No, you shouldn't Mr X. That's way to much money for chinese shoes. They aren't even leather. Chinese shoes are all right for a light person. But for a man...no way! They are poorly made and will fall apart. Always buy quality European heels. I have several pair of stilettos. One from england and several from Italy. I weigh close to 200 pounds and I can't destroy them.

  4. When I was in 4th grade. There was a box of my Mom's old high heels in the garage. She couldn't wear them anymore because something happened to her feet after the birth of my 10+ pound younger brother. I just started wearing them out of curiousity and was amazed at how fun and sexy they made me feel. (I was just coming into puberty.) I used to walk around outside everyday for hours in the different high heels for months until my Dad stopped me and made me feel really bad. But then I had a girl friend who would let wear her strappy leather sandals and I got almost the same feeling again. (I like a lot of different girl shoes besides just heels.) From then on I always had a least one pair of women's shoes scrounged from thrift store boxes or hand me downs. This was in the 70's and 80's. Then in the early 90's, I had these cool neighbors in this cool ski town I was living, who always had these theme parties all the time. One time, it was a "sexy shoe" party. You had to wear sexy shoes to go. Even though I'm shy, I really wanted to do it. The girls found me some black leather 4" pumps in a thrift store in size 12. They were a little tight, but I stretched them out by the time of the party. It was such a great time. I wore heels a few other times on Halloween. But mostly I just wear them at home. I don't live in a city and there is not a lot to do around here for going out. The closest I get is my 3" high heel cowboy boots and strappy leather sandals in the summer. Oh, and 2 1/2' heel clogs to the grocery store or post office. It would be tough to pull off 4" stilletos around here. Snow is on the gound half the year and a lot of the roads (including mine) aren't even paved. My new thing is womens winter boots on the outside of my jeans.... not real sexy, but still way more fun thean men's shoes.

  5. I'd probably walk up to him and compliment him on his fashion choice and tell him he's not alone. To all those who say they won't wear them in public just haven't worn there heels enough. Eventually, you get get bored of pacing the house and the back yard. Maybe you will start out with short trips. But after a while, you just won't care ... at least to a point. You will have to wear heels. High heel cowboy boots with long jeans are the way to go (or block heeled boots) at first. I like tall wedge sandals in the summer but will probably never wear stilletto pumps in public, nor in all my travels, have I ever seen man wear them ... but I'm waiting. Wait ... Halloween! That's the one time you got to wear heels in public. All men should try it.

  6. Leather for sure because it molds and stretches to your feet and it breathes. When I wear fake leather shoes or boots, my feet get sweaty like I had plastic bags on them. Leather is also way more comfortable and it will take dye and polish much better. By "patent leather" I assume you mean fake or sythetic leather? There was at one time a real patent leather which was highly polished, very smoothe leather. But now "patent leather" is a stolen phrase and means something else. (kind of like the word "gay", which used to mean happy. But now means some entirely different.) So they stold "patent leather" because it sound a lot better than fake, sythetic, garbage, crap material.

  7. I've asked many many the same question and the answer is almost always the same: "It depends on the shoe or heel..." Women are are almost unamously againt stiletto heels for men. But when I wear 3 - 3 1/2" boots or loafers with blocky heels, I get nothing but compliments. Guys, save the stillettos for around the house and just be realistic.

  8. I have 8 pairs of high heel boots - ankle to knee high, cowboy to fashion. 5 pair of wedge sandals over 3". 7 pair of pumps over 3" 6 pair of high heel sandals over 3". And if it counts: over 20 pair of ladies sandals with heels under 3" to flat. And 3 pair of clogs with 2 1/2" heels

  9. Yeah, women's jeans are the best ... low rise, bootcut or flair legs. But one thing you need is the shaper panties with the silicone butt pads to make up the the extra room in the seat. Then you will really feel and look sexy. My favorite and "normal" outfit is womaen's jeans, tunic top, and high heel boots (in winter) or women's sandals (of all heel heights) in summer.
