  1. Hello Amanda, Thx for the response and some tips and advice. In the past i worn heels from 1'to 4'. But never in a constant mather, so most of the time i was a bit uncomfortable in them, because every time i had to get used to heels again. So bottomline/my idea would be to "train" some period in high heels. Which, with a good programm, would be ok to get me in heels most of the day by the end of the programm. Would be easier, and clear, if theire would be some day-to-day schedule i just would/could follow. Simple rules/instructions......just do it....in other words.

  2. I am going by locked next weekend. My hubby told my he locked me in Friday 28/1 in my new ballets en we received the keys back Monday morning (I hope). The lock normal lock strap and laces will replaced by Kevlar one’s. The thrill of the this future is awfully but really trilling and amazing.

    Love,

    Esther

    Hello Esther,

    How did the weekend go?

You never wrote an update of that weekend in your new ballets.

    Very curious how things went.

And what style/model are your new ballets?

  3. Hi, last year i had to wear a (medical/orthopedic)corset during a few months for my back/posture problems.

    Kinda model like this one:

    http://www.makemeheal.com/mmh/product.do;jsessionid=D13021EDCD0D903D028CEA9D9169A3A9?id=36620&procid=41&catid=1431

After that treatment i started to wear shapewear on advice from my doctor. They give my back some more support and helps to improve my posture.

Wearing the (medical/orthopedic)corset was no fun, i hated it!

But the shapewear is kinda nice and comfortable to wear. :cry1:

Benefit of it is also it gives me a nice slender shape also!

To be honest i do like to wear it now on almost regular daily base.

it does takes some time to get used to the feeling, because i have the firmer models, mostly full body girdle's.

After seeing this thread i thought i posted also my personal experience and feeling about it.

  4. Great update, keep up your training and you'll be in 6" heels soon enough. How do your feet feel?

    Jen

    Hello all!

I feel much more confidenced on heels nowadays!

So things are getting better and excercise and training helped alot! :silly:

Almost on the "level" i was used to be about 1,5 year ago.

Upcoming Easter Weekend i have some family "party's" with diner, etc.

I will wear pumps then, great to be able wear them again.:winkiss:

    See attached picture of them.

  5. Hi, has been some time i had visited the forum here. So some update from me. Have "trained" very much the last months, been wearing 4' (ankle and knee height)boots most of the time during the day's. Got again very common with the change of posture, position of the feet, the pratical sides of wearing heels most of the time, etc. Think i can say i'm tottally relaxed and happy again now on 4' heels. It feels natural again having on 4'heels. Getting closer to the thing/moment i was used a year ago. So from on this weekend i will again go up in some heel height, and continue getting used to that new height. That will be 5'inch heels now, still boots though (for my ankle-stability) When i get to the point that becomes natural again, i can finally get back on pumps i hope, my final goal offcoarse.;-) Have chosen some boots with a thin heel, so i can also begin now with training my balance skills again. Just as Susan(the original) said, i also hope that within this year i can say that wearing heels is part of my lifestyle. So far my update for now. Greetings, Saskia

  6. Hi, thanks for reasuring that it is normal and can happen sometime.

After wearing my high heeled boots on the new years party ( http://www.hhplace.org/discuss/girls/12720-high_heels_new_years_eve.html#post194172 ) i had to give my feet some rest today!

Tommorow i will try wearing my normal daily boots on my day off.

And maybe after some hours just try on again the higher heels when i'm home, just keeping them on for just one hour orso.

About the permanently high heeled, that would be to soon for me now, but a nice goal for later on in 2009.

Wearing heels to bed, i've seen another thread about that and also posted some questions there.

Most things seen here when searching for techniques/methods for my foot traning where more "fetish like", and no offend but have my doubts about some persons and the reason why theire here and posting things(mostly men to be honest)

  7. Hi ladies.

What heels are you ladies in here gonna wear at the Party tonight?

I'm going to wear the black pumps showing in my avatar.

I'll have a long black tight dress with a slits up the left leg,

    and black shiny nylons.

The heels on my pumps is 16,5cm high!!

So, wish me luck so i don't break my legs in them tonight;)

Happy New Year to you all.

    //Pernilla

    Hello Pernilla,

  8. Hello Pernilla, I think i wear these tonight. I can walk/stand and dance on them for some time. (without getting very painfull or discomfort) I wish you luck!! But i have to say you will get some attention wearing those :winkiss: Happy New Year to all you ladies

  9. Hi, thanks for the reply, seen many people reading this thread, but no one replied till now/you

How high are the heels that you have been strugging with?

It happend when trying on pumps with 11,5cm heels, i think that would be 4,5"?

How long ago was it that you last wore them?

    Almost one year ago.

I assume you didn't have problems with your legs being bent previously?

That is correct, but haven't been in heels for almost a year, but before that i could wear these without bending the knees.

Other, some lower boots i can straighten my legs correctly.

What height heels do you normally walk in?

Just started again with wearing heels(boots), and today i worn 8cm height almost during the whole day.

How much time do you spend in heels?

My wish is to be able to wear almost permanentely high heels.

But for now i'm building up the wearing hours, today was a good day.

I had a pair of 9" shoes with 2" platforms and struggled at first walking like you describe but it got easier in time. It wouldn't surprise me if it was just ligaments needed coaxing into position or something like that.

Can you say that in other words or describe more what you mean?

Sorry for that but my native language isn't english and i can't translate that sentence :welcome:

If you are struggling with 6" and normally wear 4" (for example) it might be worth bridging the gap with 5" heels and then moving up to 6". You will probably still have bent legs at first but eventually you should be OK.

Yes, i agree offcoarse, just wanted to hear if other woman had also these "problems" sometimes with higher heels(as used to)

So if it happens that my knees bent on some heights, and the heels are not much higher as i used to it will disappear after some time?

I was a bit worried that i could never be able to wear the heels i used to in the past!

For this reason i opend this question/discussion.

I will see if i can take a picture of the high heels where this is all about if that would be helpfull to give further answers/replies.

  10. Hello, A quick but serious question. Today i tried on pair of high heeled pumps, that i had walked on in the past. But today when standing and walkig in them tend to bent my knees forward. So i couldn't straight my leg in otherwords. Any of you is familiar with this? In my opinion those heels where just to high for me this time. Ending up walking with my knees bent forward, and that's a good way to get very sore. Not to mention looking rather strange! :-( I think there was just not enough room in the ankle joint to do all the work, so my knee had to take over? My question is, when you recogize this situation: What is best to do... First walk more on some lower heels, or just keep using these from time to time, and try to "stretch" my muscles/ankles more this way? Thanks for any responses on this one. Greetings, Saskia

  11. Hi Peggy,

Indeed i was not my intension to use thin heels on that treadmill.

Just only boots that have a wide/big heel.

Wedges would also be a good/usefull idea.

Today i walked 30minutes on the treadmill with my boots on.

Works great, and a very good excercise for me.

I don't have any experience with heels on a treadmill but i would think that your thin heels would damage the tread. i would try something with a wedge at first and go slowly. Peggy

  12. Hello Debby, first of all, a very warm welcome here!

Maybe it's a good idea to read this thread also?

It's a simple fact of Human dynamics - a lot of weight concentrated on a small - and soft area - leads to discomfort and wear - which requires constant maintenance (or pampering).

I totally agree, and couldn't say it better as you! :welcome:

    So indeed:

    - use things like Partyfeet

    - pumice

    - also important, take care of your nails, very bad to have to long toenails when wearing heels (longer times)

  13. Hi, first i want to say i like your ankle boots!!

My first thought would be, just buy extra laces,so you can lace each side seperately, in total you will need 4 (short) laces for the 2 boots.

How to lace, i sudgest this way, as shown on these boots:

    http://www.skyscraperheels.com/boots/IMAG0009.JPG

Alternatively, if you really like to use just one lace per shoe...this i a nice sollution maybe....cross the lace to the other side on the bottom of the boot.

    Example:

Let us now if this tips work for you.

  14. Hello you all,

I decided to buy a treadmill after my ankle surgery.

    Yesterday it was delivered.

This way i hope i can do some good walking excercises in the comfort of my own home, when it's cold and windy outside.

I have to re-train my ankle/foot musscles after surgery and get them flexible again.

Beside normal work-outs i would like to try also wearing heels from time to time on the treadmill.

By summer i really hope i can wear some high heeled pumps/ or platform sandals again as i was used to a year ago.

I do like the boots i wear now(have to for ankle stability) but love to get back into my pumps that already waiting a year in my closet....much nicer and sexier offcoarse.

Attached is a picture of the treadmill i bought

    Question:

Are there girls here that do have experencies with working out on high heels, for example on a treadmill?

What are the Do's and Dont's?

  15. Hello, what a nice topic! Allthough 2008 was a bad year for me concerning wearing high heels. Had quite some troubles with my health, and had ankle surgery lately. So almost not been able to wear heels for months BUT... The year is almost over but now i can start wearing heels again after my ankle surgery, step by step....sometimes feeling again a teenager who has one her first pair of heels. :winkiss: Merry Christmas to you all, and 2009 will be "my heels year" :lmao: ......sorry for replying in the "For the guys"(as a natural woman) forum, but i don't think you mind :welcome:

  16. Hi everyone, Last friday i had a nice pedicure and foot/leg treatment by my beautician. So today i could wear my boots again without having much discomfort :welcome: As i explained in my introduction i'm at the moment began again to wear heels. Day by day getting used again in walking on high heels more often. I began on boots because boots are far more supportive and protective(for my ankles) then pumps! Later on i hope to get again on pumps just as i did in the past. The heel height of the boots i had on today are about 10cm, i think that would be 4inch? Have just attached a pictures of them. Before my ankle surgery i could and walked mostly on pumps with 10cm heels, and on special occasions sometimes on 12 to 14 cm heeled pumps. Hopefully i can do that again in the nearby future! But for now/today managed to have those boots on for a continuous 6 hour is a victory for me! Afterwards i treated my foot and legs with some cooling balm, gave a nice relaxing feeling. Greetz, Saskia
