Thanks all, I also bought these Dr Martens at the time of the black boots yesterday. I've bought a few pairs of boots as of late so my confidence level has gone up with ringing up the purchase. I just got done wearing these for a few hours at a local dice bar. Was a little nervous wearing a brighter than normal boot with a taller than normal heel out. Only my close lady friend commented that the boots were looked awesome.

I bought these boots while at Nordstrom Rack yesterday and couldnt leave them on the shelf. Size 12 and the fit and the leather is perfect!

Here is my look from today. I am in love with my poncho :-) I think it will be my signature piece this season.

Going out on monday was a great experience. My female coworker liked my look very much. And she was even a little bit jealous when she touched the amazing quality of my new leather leggings.My advise is: start with heels that are easy to walk in. Spend a little bit of time on matching your look and then go out!

Not really new - but I forgot that I had bought these boots two years ago and only worn them one time. So I declare them new
I will match them with my new poncho these days as they match perfectly
Part 2 of the story: ... walking back along the main shopping street, I noticed that the boots I was wearing (my favorite Ermanno Scervino boots) were failing - the right heel showed a gap at the back, and the heel itself could be moved quite a bit. It would only be a matter of time till it would break.
So although I had just bought my favorite pair, I still wanted to try on the other pair I had seen. So I went into the store, asked the sales assistant whether they would be available in size 11... and they were...
While waiting for her to return from the stock room, yet another pair caught my eye...
I liked both of them very much. Take the first pair? Take the second pair? Both? Wouldn't it be insane to buy three pairs in one day? Yes, it probably would be.
I am now officially insane. I bought both pairs, put on pair #2 and stored away my (nearly) broken Ermanno Scervino heels in the now empty shoebox of pair #2. Suddenly, walking in heels was easy again. It really makes a difference when a heel becomes just a tad loose.

Not sure if I posted these, I always feel my heel outfits balance out better with a jacket but have trouble wearing one in the south Florida summer

I've been looking for a nice pair of ankle boots for a very long time. I found the pair attached at Zalando and was instantly in love. They arrived today but I'm dissapointed in the quality. They fit very nice and are easy to walk in but the left boot had a crease between the toe part and the front. It had this fresh from the box and it seemed scuffed where it had been in the production machine or something. This made me decide to return them. Such a dissapointment since they looked great and where a dream to wear. So my search continues. I'll go hunting for a pair in store soon and guess I better look for real leather ones.
sorry about the bad quality of this pair. These boots look great though. good choice.

I gave in recently and got a pair of Jeffrey Campbell litas. When I can get a clearer picture I will post more.
I've been wanting a pair of chunky boots for quite a while and had been eyeballing this pair on the New Look site. But I found them a little expensive, but when they where on sale I ordered them. They are no doubt chunky! They are quite comfortable and I love how they look.
Also got a pair of real Jeffrey Campbell's. Took me ages scouting a local second hand site but I finally have my almost new pair for less than a third of the retail price. I'm very happy!
How do you like your litas? Do they have true fit? Mine have a little extra wiggle room which I was worried they'd be too small since my size was already sold out.

since they are a low heel compared to the rest of my collection i have been doing errands and housework in them. havent mustered up the courage to wear these in a heavily trafficked public place. i mainly wear my wedge boots for that.

I have just started wearing my stiletto boots out in public so I'm right there with your emotions. I started with wedges and longer thicker Levi jeans to ease myself into the environment. It first started with a few gas stations outside late at night, then worked my way going inside. Then it moved up to a busier 7-11 store then target. I'm at the point where I do mind people's interest in my choice of footwear, but in my own mind, their opinion doesn't matter to me. Rock those heels.
