Can any shoemaker repair deformed toes like shown on the picture?

Usually the thecnichal pieces which are between the upper and the lining are thermo-moldable. You could model one wooden or plastic piece with a little bit of patience, then you should to  introduce the piece inside the toe of the boots now you should to warm with a hairdryer the leather to go modeling it ( this advice only gets on if the boots are made in leather, if the boots are made in PU should not modeling and they will be burned), be careful with the glues you used for the soles too because the glues are working with hot and could be remove, the boots will be damage for always.

With a little bit skill and some hours of working your boots could be perfect.

Make sure that the toe box is stif and hard. No one makes them like that any more. It should not crumple when standing up.

Well i dont post and i dont visit usually this forum. But when im look some post no real i answer it. I make shoes since 25 years and my father make shoes all your life and my grand father too. My shoes are hand made and theys are made with firsth cuality materials im a man and is possibly im make mistakes but if i make a mistake i allways try a solutions.

Hi Asenath, I bought a pair of custom made heeless knee high boots from this site and they cost me €450 posted to Ireland. I was looking forward to getting these boots and when they arrived I was very disappointed with the quality and workmanship, so much so that I will never buy anything from them again. I love my boots and I am very handy with my hands, but I still cannot repair the bad workmanship on these boots. I emailed Esther in the company about this many times but got no satisfaction, all I will say to you is buyer beware.

I think you dont buy any pair of ballets boots in my factory. So if you have a pair of my ballet boots I compromised with you to find a solution to your problems with the ballet boots, only if the boots are made by me.

Maybe a modified soldering iron with a blunt tip applied to the nails will soften the plastic enough

might work but be very carefull not to burn yourself in the confined space of a shoe !!!

This is a good discussion, In general, there is a directly relation between the size, the waist of last and heigh of heel.

For example, the perfect armony for me is the 5,5" last. we don´t make 5,5" of real high heel because we used this table to improve the aesthetic of the shoes or boots.

This is our heigh table we used it.

size 35Eu to 37Eu 12.5cm (4.9")

size 38Eu to 40Eu 13.5cm (5,3")

size 41Eu to 43Eu 14,5cm (5.7")

size 44Eu to 46Eu 15,5cm (6.1")

I am a shoemaker from 22years ago. I am the thrid generation of shoemakers. This is my personal opinion May be could not the correct way for all the people but it is the best proportion I would like.

I am apologize for this, we are a spanish manufacturer that make and sell high heel shoes and special shoes, our intention have only show you some ideas of our products.
