Tiffany, generally I bought my shoes and boots here in Spain. The boots of the three last videos are from the spanish brand 1to3. They have an internet page but they dont sale trough the web. Thanks for your comments!!!

And there was me thinking the term androgynous is used to refer to a person whose look or build make determining their gender difficult...

I dont want to create here a long discusion Tech, because maybe my english it is not so good to expose here good arguments and be understable....

I dont recognize to have any gender difficult going in public androgynous with high heels, skirts or wigs. I dont like to wear (female?) shoes as a cowboy...I prefer to look more as Beckham (I mean Victoria)...and thats it. I dont think that heels, skirts or wigs it is just a female attribute...these are just conventions...

Tech, androgynous, if look to the dictionary, means that a person looks like the other sex instead maintains the original sex....I agree with you 100%...my look is more female than male because with current conventions, woman wears heels, skirts, handbag, make up, long ear rings and you named...the question with me is that when I wear heels, I love to wear the rest all the stuff that surrounds the heels TO ME: thigh leggins, colored handbags, short skirts, sophisticated ear rings, biiiig sun glasses and HIGH HEELS, of course. The issue here is that with all these I look as a woman, that is the reason I said I am androgynous because I continue to be a man...I understand that could be a very long discussion, but to me is clear. In the eighteen century, a man wore heels, wigs, make up...the conventions now are simply different...I mean in the eighteen century I would be a man but now I am androgynous because that I like to wear in public, is no permited (by pure conventions) to the man in our current century....I LOVE TO BE ANDROGYNOUS!!! Last week I went in public with my lovely brown knee boots 5 inches in a very androgynous manner: leggins, short skirt, handbag and black leather gloves. I feel more confident on heels day after day. I am very happy because a deep dream come true after all these years: to go out on heels and platforms where I want and when I desire. Wait for my next video in IKEA!!!

Normally I use to walk with my highheels troughout differents malls doing some shopping. Also I like to go to the fitting room to try whatever I like and using the mirror to play a little bit with my look. I love that...Nobody pay special attention to me, believe me, including the clerks or the woman cashier. One month ago, when I was paying a pair of nice black boots, the woman told me that I was very pretty wearing this androgynous look and these nice high heel shoes!!! I Told her "thank you" and my self-esteem grew a 100%, lol.

I own to this place (hhplace.org) and to you all, many of the things I am doing today with my hh, going in public as androgynous and feeling happy and very confident as I though it would never happen. Thanks.

Last week I bought in ZARA a pair of pretty pumps (size 10), suede black leather 5 inches of heels with 1 inch of beatiful platform...lovely!!!

They are very comfortable to walk and I used all the afternoon trough the mall corridors to walk on them with my androgynous look that you already know. No reactions at all. Nice time again with my heels in public

hey this afternoon I went to mall whith the look that you can see in the picture below. Total androgyn look (I love it!!): tied jeans, long jackect, big handbag and very visible louboutines patent black and suede with 5 inches of pretty high heels.... No reactions, everything very normal. Some comments in low voices...mmmm...that increases my adrenalin level and my self-esteem!!! I took some time to buy another precious louboutins (I tried on in the same shop, of course!!! size 11 fits ok) that you can also see in the pictures; they have jeans surface termination, big buckle in one side and very confortable to walk (5 inches also). With the arrival of the autumm, I bought a pair of incredible boots with metallic heel 4 inches and I showed them in public meanwhile I was travelling around my country. Incredible to walk on them, incredible how the people watched to me (no bad comments)....everyday I love more and more to live on heels!!!

Just I want to share with you my first time that I went out with my new pumps 5 1/2 inches...incredible feelings!!! No words.... It is easy to walk with them...believe me....and no special problem with people during my stroll. Some glances.... It was late in the evening in the mall where I went. I am waiting for some new female trousers that I bought to heel on them again more aparently. You will keep informed and I will prepare a video of this fantastic moments!!!

It was a fantastic video, maybe as some are saying you may try to have someone following you and catching up reactions, like the one of the guy that was sitting and sudenly he took a quick turn and stare in a way that his face was sying wow, incredible!!! hahaha, those ones are cool, so far i think is very decent and motivating,

In regards to your shoes, they are very nice,and adequate 4inch heel to walk around and not be tired. I think thats the key, becasue if they wer little high maybe you ont feel confirdent on walking straight and maybe it will hurt you along the way and you may not like the pain. And if they were too low less than 3.5inch maybe it would be boring and the daring wont worth the try, perfect music and nice shots.

In fact you inspired me to propose a video-movie project to do between all of us "the hhplace heelers" i will post it later in a new tread. My ideas are many but I still need to land them a little bit more, for future discussion.

It will be nice to show reactions, but dont think there are many...the people accepts very well my heels and my strolls are normally very quiet.

For me 4 inches is the ideal height to walk during hours and hours....5 is a challenge for your foot and 3.5 o r 3 inches is too less.

Thanks Acadianheels!!! I do the video recording myself because I dont have a camera person with me..that would be great!!! I need to think on that. I didn't have big comments or reactions as far as I remembre or perceived...except a couple of teenagers in the parking of the bigstore, nobody told me a word. Maybe some glances but is normal when you wear red pumps like those....I was walking in different places and shoos as you can see in my video, even trying a pair of black boots!!! Everything was normal in my long stroll during my day on high heels; believe me, as we have said in this community several times, the problem to wear in public high heels is in our minds. The jazz music is Tete Montoliu, a spanish piano man that played Brazilian themes like the angels.... Thanks for your opinions!!!

I just received my new shoes and I am crazy with them...mmmm...they are incredible!!!!. Black Patent, red soles, 5 1/2 inches of fantastic metallic heels, lovely chain of diamonds in the heel (see pictures). Believe me, they are easy to walk, incredible to wear with leggins and of course, I will try them soon or later in a street heeling in public. I will keep you informed....

Nobody was with me. I use my video camera to make the video meanwhile the camera was standing on the floor or over a bench in the street. Then, I have a software that you can get pictures from the movie in your PC. That´s it!!! Will be nice somebody making video of my shoes, but I walk on heels always alone.

Jeff, the same happened to me last Wednesday and I stay at home but ... I went out on Thursday with my red pupms in a beatiful stroll troughout the BArcelona streets.... There are days and days, ever to go out with heels!!! No big deal.

WOW! That's absolutely remarkable! It takes a special kind of courage/nerve/balls/guts to wear red heels in public, and you pulled it off extremely well. More power to you, my friend!

For me it was the same as if I wore black shoes, no nerves, some balls and a lot of pleasure and decision....you start to walk in the street with 4 inches and you don´t mind what the hell is happening around you or what color are your shoes.....

As well BArcelona is a very free city when you can find people of all classes and wearing different looks in the street and nobody pay attention to them. Good experience that I will repeat again but maybe with leggins instead of jeans. Wait for my video in red pumps!!
