This post seems so sweet and innocent, no-one knew the shit show that 2020 was going to be after this. Here's hoping 2021 cleans up the mess.

Well, good to have you back. And so active too, since your return! Amazing that already at that tender young age you had such a strong interest in heels.
Yeah, was always into them as a kid but I assumed every girl was

No, not the same name. I honestly can't remember what my name was back then, I think I used a sudonym too but I honestly can't remember it.

I apologise if this has already been said but I found that if you take your hi resolution pictures of 5 to 8 mb and screenshot them, the screenshot is usually 100 too 300kb
I hope this helps some people as a quicker way without using an app

I think I found this site about 10 years ago when I was about 13 or 14. I made an account but never dared to post except for maybe one or two times, as I felt like everyone already knew each other and that I would just get criticised or ignored. The forum was a completely different look back then

Well, I also had 7 inches heels, maybe higher, but with platform. Picture below. These are what my husband dubbed as "triple threats" heels as not only the heels are very tall, these also came with very slick bottoms and the platforms are not so stable either. Strictly for fun at home, and only if my husband had his arm around my waist, lol.
Well the heels on the far right are 7 inch with no platform and the other two have platforms and are much easier to walk in.

Looks gorgeous ! Are you wearing them outside the house ?
Mostly I'm wearing tight-fitting long skirts and heels with very slippery bottoms just around the house and with the presence of my husband 😁
It's fun to do activities at home on them. With the pandemic restriction, we both work from home all the time and I got to wear tight skirts and slippy heels all day long 😅
Usually for activities outside the house I wear stiletto heels with slip-proofed soles. Slippery heels that slipped and slid easily on tiled floor are just for having fun at home only.
I work from home too and get bored of the normal clothing so I like to wear my fun stuff and higher heels when working. For outside I stick to the 4 and 5 inch heels and skirts that I can actually walk in lol

That's why you wear knee high boots. Rain windy day today here, but no problem in my boots.
I've only got one pair of leather knee highs and they have a relatively low and chunky heel so I never wear them. My thigh highs are velour and open at the front so they aren't rain-worthy.

Welcome MyOwnHeels. I'm not ashame of my UK 8 feet you shouldn't either. Just be glad they're not UK 10+.
One day you will expand your heel selection to include others. I have many styles except pumps - they just don't like my toe tendons.
Thank you, I'm not ashamed of my size 8 feet, I just kinda wish they were some cute little size 4's or something. And I do buy other types of heels but I just know that when I'm picking an outfit, I always end up a wearing pumps so I have other styles just sitting here gathering dust lol

Your highest heel height: I have an amazing pair of 7 inch black patent pumps with a steel heel. They're gorgeous but I look like and idiot walking in them.
How often do you wear: (a) Your favourite heel height: Once or twice a week, but I haven't worn my 6 inch heels outside yet. Only 5inch so far.

Your highest heel height: I only wear my 7 inch heels for practice every once in a while.
Do you wear socks, hose, stockings or bare feet with your shoes: I prefer stockings or tights. Preferably fishnets or whale nets.

I thought I'd reply to this even though no one has for a while.
For me, living in the North of England, rain and wind are my enemies. Puddles that are deep enough to completely submerge my toes are a major problem. Nothing worse than completely drenching the inside of my heels.

Would you wear stilettos for a job interview?
in For the girls
Posted
Yeah, I would. In the past I've worn 4 or possibly 4.5inch to a job interview. Probably now I'd dare for the 5inch.
Although, after speaking with several other women at my old office job, I'd not wear patent, as most people in management see patent is a no no, it might be fine in an office once you're working there but in an interview I'd stick to plain leather.
