thoughts on the subject? well - there has really never been a better time for high heels than London right now. Firstly loads and loads of people are wearing beautiful shoes and secondly there are an increasing number of fantastic manufacturers bringing out amazing designs... happy times!

haven't posted here for probably 6 years - what has been going on?

crikey - haven't posted on year for years. hello everyone I'm ashamed to say that over the years I have bought my girlfriend probably 50-100 pairs of shoes, all of which were stupidly pricy. Most expensive was probably a couple of pairs over £1,000 which were snakeskin from manolo. Bloody expensive habit - wish my fetish was for something cheaper like bacon sandwitches - ah well.....

kensington high street has all of the major chains, dune, sacha, office, lk bennet, shellys etc. etc. (same as kings road) the only thing it doesn't have are some of the top end fashion places - gina, jimmy choo, loubertain etc. etc. - these are all either in the big shops (harvey nichols / harrods) or have their own shops nearer nightsbridge

4"+ court shoes if they are extremely well cut with a very thin heel - however most court shoes look terrible. but mainly ultra strappy high heeled sandals, not on bare legs with an elegant going out outfit of some description melts me entirely

not in london - the place is crawling with high heels after a bit of a lull in the mid ninetys. I drove through the city yesterday morning at about 7.30pm and must have seen at least a 100 pairs of 3 1/2 inch + heels and a fair few 4 1/2 inch +. lovely. WHAT A TOWN!!!

is it just me or are his shoes basically a load of old rubbish. the emperors new shoes as it where? I have rarely seen a half decent looking pair. why is everyone so obsessed with them?

we always go shopping for shoes in the sales after christmas - Gina often has tons of fantastic stuff which there is no point buying at full price in december

ah - two more people in comfy loafers - I almost feel like an old timer

as an observer - high heeled strappy sandals - pref, 4"+ however some of the best are the loveheart shoes by Gina now in their 3rd or 4th season - beautiful and only about 3 1/2" high

ou contraire - most ladies seem to have some 4"+ heels hidden away somewhere that they are itching for an excuse to wear
