Did you wear those out and about? Nice conservative pumps.
Thanks.
Unfortunately no. They stayed in the house. I'd be reluctant to take them out for a long time. The heel isnt bad, but somehow my toes feel squished and the heel feels loose at the same time. That and I'm just not sure he occasion to wear them.

Last weekend I decided to go out in a pair of very very low heeled black ankle booties. Just enough of a heel to make a clacking noise but not enough to really be a high heel. I like these boots a lot but they are a little small for my feet.
Anyways I went and got coffee and was walking around town for a couple hours when I stopped at a thrift store. I couldn't resist trying on a couple of pairs of shoes, only when I went to put back on my boots, I was having a bit more trouble than usual. I think my feet had swollen from all the walking and my right foot especially would not go in the darn boot. It felt like I was there for a minute or two putting all my weight in to the shoe until finally in slipped in. Luckily I dont think.anyone was paying too much attention to me.

That would be awesome. What are you willing to part ways with?

Howdy y'all. I have a size 12 mens foot and am looking for some heels that will fit me. I tried to convert this to European size and was a little confused, but maybe a 45 or 46 might be the right size. I know I can fit in to some womens u.s 12s or womens 13's usually fit well. Anyway if you have any bigger sized shoes let me know.

It's hard to walk in a shoe which has a rigid sole unless there's some toe spring: https://paceathletic.com/blogs/news/15507849-the-relationship-between-plantar-fasciitis-forefoot-rocker-toe-spring
Many years ago I had a pair of kneehigh boots with about 1" rigid platform and 2.5" heel. The platform was absolutely flat. Even at that very modest height it made walking quite awkward. Had to land very conciously on the heel with the toe raised, otherwise I'd trip over tiny irregularities. No way to roll the foot forward into the next step.
That's exactly the problem I was having. Not a very high heel, just awkward to walk in because of the flatness and hardness of the platform.

Sorry @kevloveheel, but you need to work on your definition of fun.
Ha ha. I guess for me going out in a new pair of shoes is fun. Even if my feet got a little banged up.

I was at the thrift store the other day when I came across a very unique pair of platform combat boots. They were clearly modified by someone who had cut out a wooden platform maybe three inches tall and attached it to the bottom of the shoe. I tried them on, and they fit me well. I didn't have much of a chance to walk in them in the thrift store, but I could tell they were very heavy with the block of wood.
Anyways I bought them and decided to take them for a walk around to see how they were. So I drove down to get some coffee. As soon as I stepped out of the car, I realized these shoes were going to be trickier than I imagined. The hardness and flatness of the platform made it impossible for me to walk naturally. There was no way to roll my foot. I had to to walk really slow and take short steps. Even still, it felt like my feet were being weighed down by concrete as I clopped along. I thought about turning back, but was determined for coffee. I had to walk a little ways from the parking garage to the coffee shop, but even after a 5 min walk, I could tell the boots were rubbing the back of my feet. I walked in to the coffee shop, and I felt a few people staring at me as I slowly made my way over to the counter to order. All the tables were full so I got it to go. I took a little detour on my way back to the parking garage. My heels were really starting to blister. Not only was the platform of the shoes making it hard to walk, but now my heels were really in pain, and I was having a hard time going anywhere. Finally I made it back to the garage and had to change shoes for the drive home. I'll definitely be needing thicker socks if I'm going to wear these again. Nonetheless it was a fun time.

I had a dream just the other night. I was going to a garage sale and decided to wear a black leather pencil skirt and a pair of very tall black wedges. When I got to the garage sale there were a whole bunch of people that I knew at the sale and it was kind of awkward and embarrassing.

There's three specific dreams I can remember over the years.
The first one I believe I was in high school when it had happened. I dreamed I was wearing a pair of black high heels with white frilly socks, and I was walking around my old school.
The second one, I dreamed that I was at a university down town wearing a very high pair of stiletos. What I remember about this dream is I was having a very difficult time walking in the heels. They either kept slipping off the backs of my feet, or the heel was wobbling. I was having to take very short steps. I walked through the library and to.the bus stop. All while hobbling around.
The last one, i dreamed i was at a very mysterious party/thrift/antique store. There was a strange lady running the store and in the back corner were a whole bunch of high heels to try which is a rarity for me since I have pretty big feet.

Hi everybody. I was wondering if anyone had any embarrassing moments in high heels.
For me , I haven't had anything crazy, but once I went to payless to try on some heels. I usually try to go at a time when it wouldn't be crowded. I always was carefull to never be wearing the heels when anyone was around. Anyway when I thought the coast was clear I was strutting around in the last aisle when the lady working walked over to check on me. It wasn't that big of a.deal, but she really didn't know what to say. she just smiled, blushed and gave me the thumbs up. Actually a really great reaction, but she just caught me off guard, and I was totally exposed.

What was the club you went to in Phoenix? Sounds like you had a nice time. It may have gone even better had you gone with someone?? The times I have gone to a club setting was always with someone else or attended a few outdoor weddings over the years dressed, always by request, as my other self. HappyinHeels
Karamba Night club. They play great music. And I'm the type of person who really doens't mind doing things alone. I almost enjoy it actually.

Hi Everyone!
I'm new here, but I thought I'd post a fun night out I had in heels a few months back.
I think it was a Friday night, and I was feeling tired of only wearing my heels in the house, So I decided I would dress up a little and go out for a night of dancing at the club. I wore a very simple tight fitting navy blue long sleeve dress that went down to about my mid thighs, with a pair of reasonably opaque black tights, and a pair of 5 inch platform stilettos. I don't think anybody was mistaking me for a woman, but I am a pretty tall, thin, young guy so I think it was actually a good look for me. I decided to go to a LGBT/Latino club in Phoenix that is known to be a popular place for transvestites.
I got to the club pretty earlier actually, and it was pretty dead inside which made me feel pretty nervous. I was hoping to blend in with the crowd, but for the first hour or so this was not the case. No one was really dancing at this point so I went outside to sit on the patio, and a guy and a girl approached me. They told me they were from Colorado and that they were cousins. They were very nice, and made me feel a lot less nervous about the situation. They told me how much they loved my outfit and wanted to know if I was straight or gay. I told them I was straight, and the girl cousin said she figured as much, but the guy cousin continued to hit on me, which I didn't mind so much:) I eventually exchanged numbers with them, and they told me they wanted to dance with me later inside, and I told them I would.
In the meantime I continued to sit on the patio for a little while longer, at which point an entire group of bearded transvestites came up to me and started talking to me. They were pretty obnoxious to be honest, but they all LOVED my outfit, especially my heels. They complimented me on how well I walked in them and gave me a reference of a make up artist who they said could help me with my look. The leader of them all laughed because she was amused by the fact that someone was actually taller than her, but was very nice about it.
Eventually I made my way back inside and met up with my two Colorado friends I met earlier and began dancing. The heels I was wearing were about 5 inches tall and have about an inch platform which makes walking in them very manageable. The only problem is though that they are about a half size too small, so it didn't take long before my feet really started to hurt. Despite the pain however, I was having an amazing time. Both the cousins were very good dancers and were very out going and having lots of fun.
Eventually though I could bear the pain no longer and I had to say goodbye to my new friends. I didn't bring a change of shoes so I had to walk back to the car which was in an uneven dirt parking lot. I was talking really small steps at this point and wasn't sure that I looked attractive at all, but alas I made it back to my car and took my shoes off for the drive home. I wish I could say that it was sweet relief, but my feet were still throbbing even after I took the shoes off.
Overall though it was an awesome night out. I'll have to do it again.
