  1. I love my polished toes, but in my opinion they look best with hairless legs, but that's just a personal opinion. My finger nails get done as well but not in the colours more of a pale colour that's not noticed unless the shine shows, have this done after my regular manicures at a salon. Have been thinking about a pedicure and polish. It's a pity more men don't do it.

  2. Andy, I don't know if you realise but the picture you posted is of Brighton's Palace pier recent;y renamed Brighton Pier. The West Pier is much older and is approx 1100m west of Brighton pier. It's been closed since about 1974 due to a fire but was actually derelict before that. As Bob commented part of it has colapsed recently in the gales. To answer Bob's question regarding the future of the West Pier. It's owned by the West Pier Trust, they have got national lottery money to partly fund it's restoration. Money has also been given by private individuals including Chris Eubank the former boxer and now a prominent Brighton resident. However the discussions on what form the restoration should take were still continuing when part of it collapsed. The structure is a grade 1 listed building, the only pier in the country to have this so any restoration has to be in character with the origonal. The future of the pier is as uncertain now as ever and it looks like it could suffer more damage in the winter storms that are likely to occur until about May.

  3. The heels are ok but coupled with the rest of the outfits I don't like. I would have preffered the emphasis of the design to be on the heels with more classic male clothes. I suppose because I feel that would have been more likely to get acceptance from the public at large. However thats not what fashion design is about, at least not at the shows they have always been at the more extreme end of things with fashions toning down for the high street. So lets hope it starts a fashion for heels. Although overall the look dosn't appeal I'm glad that he has challenged convention the way he has.

  4. Off for a leg wax Thursday evening, so I will remove the polish tommorow and then reapply it afterwards. I wish I had the courage to leave it on or even to use it on my finger nails. I have only ever worn a clear polish on my hands in public. Although it was noticable it never attracted any adverse comment. Any other men worn polish on fingers or toes in public and what do the Ladies think about nail length, shape and polish? I think that the wearing of nail polish for men is probably more accepted than wearing heels but probably only for the younger age groups who I often see wearing Gothic styles along with it, do you agree or not?

  5. Xaphod, yes I agree the current style is definately androgenous.I pass a shop most days selling a selection of cowboy style boots for both men and women. Depending on the heel height/toe shape, stitching etc it looks possible to get a pair that would be ideal for daily wear, possibly even leaving people unsure if they are womens or mens ! I might just have to take a serious look. By the way what are beetle boots?

  6. I bought my first stilettos yesterday. A pair of Bronx , lace up with a 4" heel, tan leather made in Brazil. In the best tradition of the first purchase of womens shoes I grabbed them and just took them and paid without trying (not the best idea I know). Despite my imagination that the whole store would be looking at me nobody even seemed interested. They fit well, I'm a uk size 8 and the size marked on the sole says 11M which I think is a Brazillian size. Oh, almost forgot the cost £29.95

  7. I have noticed a growing fashion at the present time for cowboy style boots in female and male styles. I have to say that you would be hard pushed to tell the difference between some of these except that the heel height on the female ones tend to be available higher. I may buy something suitable for outdoor wear myself.

  8. I agree, I for one don't understand how the net works and what info is held. More importantly how secure that info is. So I can see some people would like to post anonymously but everyone here should be able to express their views freely, without being offensive to anyone. If this is abused then steps must be taken to stop it. Sadly as you say Firefox this means the loss of the guest posting facility for everyone.

  9. Hello to everyone on the forum. It was so good to find a place with so many like minded people that I had to join. Im 42, male and straight, definately enjoy seeing women in heels. As far as wearing them goes I'm afraid I'm still at the stage of only wearing them indoors but you never know I may find the right style that I could be confident to wear outdoors, perhaps an ankle boot not too femminine or too high. Any advice would be welcome.
