If the price came down, they would definitely sell more. Being in the UK, if the pound was still worth 2 dollars they wouldn't be so bad, but as it's now nearer 1.5, they are too dear, especially adding in shipping costs.

Seems like more posts against then for, so I'll redress the balance a bit! I've two upper arm sleeve tattoos, each of a different tribal design. No one has to see them unless I choose, as they are covered by shirt sleeves. If you start on piercings they can be pretty addictive; I've got tongue, nipples, navel, PA, labret and more. Plus ear lobes stretched up to 20mm, and various plugs to go in them. There are a few places the holes won't heal up completely with jewellery removed, like the PA and stretched ear-lobes, but most will, leaving at most a tiny indent in the skin.

I'm a very slim guy, and don't like baggy clothes much, so most of my jeans/trousers are now those sold for women, as I literally can't get men's trousers in my waist size - they're just too loose. Women's jeans are usually nicer material and better cut - you just have to watch that they are not too tight at the crotch. The zips are shorter so check you can still have a pee standing up.

I've now shortened the heels by 5mm, and even that has made a noticeable difference. Walking is definitely that bit easier. I'll leave it at that until the Leo pads come.

After more practise I find I can now walk a little in my ballet boots, but the ouch pouches just aren't enough to stop my toes hurting, so have taken the plunge and ordered some Leo's no 4 gel pads. If what others say is right, these should make it a lot easier. Seems like shortening the heel by 5 t0 10mm might also be a help, then you really could walk longer distances. Going to try it.

I also agree. It's not the age that matters, but whether you can carry it off. You need to have kept a trim figure, not always easy for many, probably most, women (and a fair number of men too!)

Sounds good. But what exactly are 'theraband' exercises? And the 3.5 under the sofa? I must do more of the calf rises, maybe try the others too. Let us know how you progress - it's encouraging if it works for you.

I have a pair of ouch pads for my ballet boots but my toes still hurt, so I'd like to try the gel pads. But I live in England, so does anyone know a supplier of gel pads in the UK? That would be easier, and cheaper, than mail-ordering from Leo's in the US. I've been training my feet with a ballet arch stretcher which I got from the US on E-bay. It certainly has improved the bend in my arches over a month or two, so my feet slip into the boots just fine. But the toe pressure stops me for standing for very long, so I need to work on that. But without ruining my toenails, hopefully.

Hi all. Been reading threads as a guest, but decided I should really join as a proper member. Yes, I too have a high heel fetish, wear heels about the house as much as possible, and sometimes go out in them. Ok, I'm male, so I wear long bootleg trousers so as it's not too obvious. Been into heels for about five years now, very gradually, so can now walk easily in 3" and reasonably in 4". Not long distances, I'm too impatient, and heels do slow your walking down. But they make you much more aware of your feet. I'll get around to adding more info in time, when I've worked out how to use the site better. Like adding an avatar under my name. Maybe some kind member will say how! It's great to know there are plenty others out there who share the high heel bug. No problem if you're female, but harder to explain to others if you're male. Sign off for now, cheers, pyracantha

I would love there to be more days over 70 here in NW England! But isn't the answer to wear high-heeled open sandals, or maybe wedges, on hot days. Enclosing the toes in heat is soon uncomfortable.
