It's not as simple as that. Heels should be held in place with either 3 or 4 wood style screws that likely ripping the threads from the coresponding plastic. If they are at all decent there will be steel last under the insole that forms the shape of the rise and keeps the screw heads from pulling through. Glue is added but the real strength revolves around the mechanical attachments.

And, yah you're putting way to much torque on them in the soft grass only made worse due to the platforms.

Yeah there doesn't look to be much holding it on under there to be honest, I have a pair of pleaser 5 inch heels that have been worn to the absolute death for 3 years without re tipping and they are still strong as an ox, I know pleaser aren't the best either but they have seen some wear!

It looks fixable. Try some fast setting epoxy, but wait 24 hours before wearing them to allow the glue to cure to it's hardest state.

If you're wearing those spikes on grass and they're sinking in more than an inch, then you're putting a lot of weight on the heel which isn't going straight down. It's leveraging the heel and bending it off the shoe. Shoes like that are not made for grass. Go to a sandy beach instead!

Thanks I may try that before I bin them! Yeah it was one of those wrong place wrong time moments, that was awhile ago but I suppose it will have weakened them as they were sinking a lot to be fair

It's amazing how good those shoes looked after you removed the contrast of the white heel.  The rotted floor board was just plain bad luck, but it is nice that the girl you were with had the presents of mind to get a picture.  Her comment on your heels surprised me, didn't she know you were wearing stiletto pumps?

It sounds like you had a good (and safe) time.  Muddy heels are one of the expenses of wearing stilettos on a soft lawn. :penitent:

That's what I thought too! Yeah she knew but she was examining the bottom metal bit lol, I sure did and yep it sure is :giggle:
