I agree with MackyHeels jealousy has a lot to do with it I get it from my mrs she gets annoyed when I look better in stuff than she does but she gets over it because she's used to it now

Had a great experience today. Went into one of our favorite shops wife and baby tagging along and all the ladies working there (all young) rushed over to help us because they love our baby found a pair of boots I wanted to try one girl went and grabbed them in my size without me even asking to try them on (she told me she saw me looking at them and thought I should try them). I slipped them on and they were perfect! I was then met with a chorus of "wow they look great on you" and "you look amazing" so after all that couldn't resist buying them

Really? I find it odd reading some threads posted here on HHP the dislike for platform heels. I have many pairs of single sole heels and platforms and I love them all. The platforms range from 1/2" to 2" with the total heel height of 6". Yes, I agree 6" heel minus 2" platform = 4" heel, not even close to wearing a 4" heel in my opinion. The highest single sole heel I own is 5 1/2", no where as comfortable as my 6" platforms. I love the look and feel of wearing my 6" platforms with a nice pair of jeans which are cut just right to show the shoe.
Totally agree my "go to" dinner date shoes are a nude peep-toe pump 6in heel 1 1/2in platform and I love them look great with jeans and a nice dress shirt

Wowee
had a garage clean out over weekend and took 1 platic crate with old olympic pins and patches to a swap meet (i used to collect these)
made $600 and cleaned out a bit of the garage.
WIN WIN
on way home stopped in at shopping centre for a coffee and saw a betts shoe store. I had never been in this chain before. So In i venture
some nice shoes but almost all only to a sz 10. (Im an 11). Sales assistant grabbed 2 pairs and said these 2 i know run big. Do you want to try them. Theyre on special
tried them on. Wow. Killer heels.
Cheap as, so another pair added to the collection
Wow those are cute might have to check them out this weekend I've got a few pairs from betts mostly boots but I'm lucky I can fit most 10's so I have a few more options

G'day I'm from Brisbane myself but do occasionally get down to Sydney nice to see a fellow Aussie out and about in heels, unfortunately it's impractical to wear heels to work but outside work I do quite often and most people really don't notice or if they do most won't say anything well except the other night when wearing my favorite 6inch peep toe pumps to dinner with the mrs even then I only overheard 2 comments none of them were said directly to me.

I think you're right in what you say of heel toe but you don't transfer your weight till the toes are firm easiest way to explain is it feels like your tip toeing around but in reality the heel is touching first then rolling down to the ball of your foot then shifting your weight to that foot.

Disappointing w6ish sounds like a major opportunity to really rock those heels it's a powerful image when we wear heels around women who dress well with nice heels goes from look at that guy in heels to look at that girl and the guy she's with maybe it's his shoes that get him the girls at least that's what I think!

Happy..... Liked your post, but I have to ask, how do (did) you know our professions???? Very presceptive of you!!! Ha ha ha.... Take care, sf
yep got me right I'm an electrician + truck driver!

WOW!! You pull that off perfectly I go for a similar look but haven't quite got your confidence yet I'm stuck in boots with perfect jeans so the heels are totally visible but only to people looking

Whilst there is a few haters in there scrolling through the comments it's good to see there are quite a lot of women who like the idea of men in heels and a lot saying "if you can walk in in them go for it I can't walk in them myself can you guys teach me!" And it's surprising the amount of guys posting in there too even some photos!!

I had a great time shopping I was in my work clothes jeans and skate shoes went to a NOVO store found a beautiful pair of VANESSA ankle boots asked for them in a size ten the lady came straight out with them and directed me to the seats and said "try them on" without any mention that they were actually for me. I tried them on then started to walk around and she said "they look amazing on you and you walk better in heels than I do!" She then told me that the second pair are half priced and was there any others I wanted. She then started grabbing all sorts of flats and low heals me trying them all then we settled on the boots and a classic pair of black suede flats. All in all massive boost to my confidence of trying on in store.
