  1. I would say (not that I say much any more), if your able to comfortably wear a skirt and heels in public, and would also like to do a chain, then do it. As with anything, if its in good taste (and I dont mean to lick it:silly:....lol), then why not. I dont think it would look any more inappropriate (to those narrow minded individuals) than the skirt and heels to begin with.

  2. I am waiting till I can get some better video, the one that I did do, is very poor quality (really bad lighting). I am guessing that you arent to familiar with stiletto's and (based on past posts) are more of a wedge wearer, and it kind of shows. Its a whole different feeling and walking style. Try to relax a bit more. It seemed as if your knees were locked, and you were trying to step flat (heel and toe hitting at the same time). Carpet walking is much easier to do than wood flooring, tile, or any other solid surface, so it is more forgiving if you have a miss step. Keep at it, and the more you are able to do so, the more comfortable and confident you will get, and it will end up feeling natural. My wife, since me letting her know of my love for heels (both looking at, and wearing) has been very good with the whole situation, and has even been letting me be the one to "break-in" new pairs for her. Hopefully your mother will someday see that it isnt a phase, nor is there anything wrong with it. I agree that a quick vaccumm would have been in order, but applaud you for posting this.

  3. This is exactly why politics and religion have no place in a forum. As you say our government brought this upon itself (if thats how you see it), but yet countless innocent lives were lost on 9/11. Terrorists such as Osama, have clearly stated that they will not discriminate, black, white, innocent or guilty, they just want to destroy all of western civilization. So you get a bit "ruffled" by security. Its for the protection of all that they do it. I also love how it seems most people that have an issue with how the US government runs things, are people that do not even resid here (and I dont mean just in this forum, but overall). If it means that myself, my children, and the people that I know and care greatly for, are protected, then I say check every bag in every airport, train station, port of call, or bus terminal, a thousand times!!!!! Anyone with more consideration than just their precious time wouldmore than likely agree. I am sure the above statement will be deleted, or will offend some, but thats my take on it. I by no means think the USA is all powerful and knows everything, every country has its flaws, but to blame us for all the issues out there is preposterous. Some one had to play "world cop" and no one jumped at the chance, so the USA did. It also irks me that alot of people say this, but history shows us that when help was needed, we were right there, guns blazing (so to speak), just to be hated for it later. I thank anyone that care to read this, and anyone that read any of my posts in the past, but this took the cake for me. I wish you all the best (yes, even those that hate the USA and its policies).

  4. Former snow machiner here (if that counts). I tried to find pics of my ride, but long since have deleted them. It was an Arctic Cat ZR580 EFI, all green with the mirrored wind shield. Where I live now, we do not get enough snow to warrant one, but I do miss it alot. It was the most winter fun I had, with snow boarding and skiing following that.

  5. Has you husband devulged any information, yet? I hope they are still being made and marketed in my size.

Sorry for the delay. I have been trying to find exactly where I got them, but to no avail. I do have the manufacturer though (link follows), and will continue to find where I got them if you would like.

I of course found a great deal on them when they were purchased. I beleive I paid $25.00 (USD).

EDIT: This is where I purchased them: http://www.snaz75.com/el-8260.html

I got them on clearance at the time, but even the price listed isnt to bad.

  6. My opinion on it is, it is no different than society saying we cant wear the heels to begin with. We each (guys and girls) have our own forum. It should be treated like a restroom (as mentioned in an earlier thread) with thin walls. Also as said already, we can hear each other, but we arent allowed in there, but they are allowed in here??? This is just my opinion, like it, hate it, ignore it, but I am entitled to it. :w00t2:

  7. Dependant on the size of your aircraft, we found that by attatching a hoola-hoop to the skids both made the aircraft more stable in the hover at low levels as it made the aircraft less twitchy and less prone to effects of any light breeze, and also if we did have an incident the hoop kept the aircraft in one piece when it touched the ground and also stopped the rotors from touching, this has saved us a small fortune in rebuilds during training flights. Whilst learning, and this does take alot of balls to do, try hovering at a height a little higher than perhaps you feel confident with, so as to eliminate what is called "Ground effect" which makes control of the aircraft close to the ground, condiderably more difficult when hovering. Enjoy.

Great advice. I have the training gear, but I dont think the bird is powerful enough to lift a hula hoop too....lol
  8. I actually had to bench the Blade heli in favor of a coaxial version. The coaxial one will help me o learn all the basics, and once I get that down to a precise science, I will be getting this bird back up and running. I also have cars and trucks to try to keep up with and keep running....lol

  9. Tinkerbell,

I have searched and found the information you are looking for. Here is a picture of those heels.

They are Manolo Blahnik sandals. From what I have read online they are called Breda and they are supposedly from 2 years ago... not sure but they are awesome shoes...

    Hope this helps

I would like to thank you on tink's behalf. All she wanted was a hand in finding out more about the shoes, and not to debate on what morals, and talent Britney may or may not have. Again, thanks for the actual help.

  10. Very nice!! A lingerie shop is usually much more understanding than say, your local Payless. Their primary goal (other than the obvious make a sale), is to make every customer feel at ease with being in their establishment. They see it all, and with the other things they sell, a pair of heels for a guy is probably nothing more than like a grocer selling milk.:winkiss:

  11. Hi steelheels!! Welcome to HHP. Photos are always a welcome site, but sharing your passion is all thats required....lol On a side note (not directed at anyone in particular) 23 views, and only 2 welcomes (as of this post):mecry:. Dont be shy folks, step in and say "HI!!"

  12. are you going to wear heels while flying your chopper?

Im still not up for a public outing as of yet. Maybe if I fly at night in the driveway, but I tried (just the flying not heeling) last nite, and crashed.....lol. I had to grab a flashlight to find the parts. All fixed now and ready to try again. My fix actually made it stronger than it was stock. I really think this is going to be a money pit till I learn it better:silly:. I just have to be patient and take it in small steps( sorta like the first time in heels:w00t2:)
  13. LOL. I havent been posting much as it is. I still come around. Just nothing new has been going on, except this. This was a gift for myself for quitting smoking. Maybe Ican get good enough with it to put a camera on it, and use it to sweep an area, for my first outing,,,,lol:silly:
