No no no, ilikekicks. flatforms and flipflops are just fine for casual wear. Also, I was being sarcastic when I LOL'd at the joke someone else posted.
Here...I found these on Etsy and thinking about buying them. Now I KNOW someone else here would like to own a pair too:

Lets be honest, Flip Flops should not be mentioned anywhere on a HIGH HEEL forum.
SoleStripper - Get thee hence to a FLIP FLOP forum (if such a dull thing exists)
This is getting really tiresome. Not all the pictures I posted were Flip Flops.

One of the best things about Halloween season...buying a bunch of girly stuff with no worries ("it's just for my costume!"). I'll have to look up their store locater, sounds like a fun place.

I have a pair of these and another two pairs on the way. I adore them. Very easy for me to walk in and I often go out to nightclubs in them. Nice to dance in to (I have the ankle boot version)
Any pics?

Well most of the shoes I own look like "hooker shoes" so I would consider that last thing you said a compliment, even though it might have been meant as a joke or insult/ridicule. The squares and old bitties always say those kinds of things about certain women too (i.e. "she looks like a $2 whore in those shoes/that outfit") but the girl is usually super hot and doesn't care what those people who criticize think. I'm not going to dress like Mrs. Doubtfire or an office manager anytime soon, so I'll just stick with the cheap/slutty/trendy stuff for at least the next couple of decades, thank you.

Do you guys actually think what you're saying is funny? Because those jokes are like Paula Poundstone level.
-
Often - clear polish.
Every few months or so - black or some other dark metallic color.
No more than a couple of times a year - red or some lighter color or french pedi.
Done by myself.

Halloween Shoes?
Wow those look pretty cool, looks like something someone from Kiss army would wear.
Found some more stuff from last year

In case anyone is interested, I finally found out from a rep at Pleaser USA that they're called Glamazon-709 and long discontinued. "Lucious: Sandal with 6.50 inch heel and 3 inch platform." http://howcool.com/product/lucious/PL-GLAMAZON-709

Stay away from any lakes with them on if you fell in you would float upside down as they would act like little life boats ...lol
LOL!
ROFL LMAO

Did it really work? I'd rather just wear them while working on my car and use a cinder block as a jackstand instead.
-
The only comment I had a problem with was post #2. Other than that, it doesn't bother me. And a guy who uses a stripper shoe as a jackstand does not share my interests at all.
-
So they're called "blades"? The reason I ask is because I'm thinking of selling them and need to know what to list them as.

The very thought that "intolerance" is being shown here is sad and very ironic. Good grief I would have thought that this forum if any would embrace and encourage another man out there who enjoys wearing footwear that doesn't fall into the typical boring realm of male footwear. I don't even own a pair of platform flip flops and have a fair collection of "real" heels, but come on, let's be supportive here. Maybe I'm just too accepting, supportive and open minded to contribute to this forum. I rarely "speak my mind" but this warrants it.
Solestripper, you've done a great job with the toe polish and making your feet look great. Carry on and enjoy your favorite styles.
Thank you. I haven't used the blue polish in awhile though. It's kind of a leftover from the late 90s color. I'm thinking about getting a french pedicure soon.

They're impossible to walk in. I almost fell over just trying to stand in them. I found a few sites that had Lucious shoes but these are off the market apparently.
-
Well technically they are "high heels" if the heels are 3 inches or higher.
i like them too and i have a pair of similar flatforms by demonia
Post them. Demonia is one of my favorite brands.

Looks good. My advice is to start low and work your way up

I've done Frankenfurter for Halloween more than once. I have at least 2 pairs of heels that work well with that "costume" motif (see me thread about platform sandals, I posted a pair with glittery silver vamps). A couple of years ago I created a new character called "Frankenbettie" which was a hybrid of Frankenfurter from RHPS and Bettie Page (alot of it was interchangeable anyway). Thigh-high fishnets, black corselette with matching panties & gloves, long black wig, garter belt, slutty platform heels, ect. You get the picture.

I like your flip flops, and I have many styles of them in wedges and platforms. Plus, I wear them most of the time, weather permitting here in the Northern US.  We are a minority in hhp regarding flip flops, but I say wear 'em if you got 'em!  I like your other sandals too.
Thanks! I knew another admirer of PFFs was out there somewhere. I just bought another pair with leopard print straps at Walmart's clearance rack for $3 and wore them all day.
I am going to also chime in and say that I'm not a fan of those platform flip-flops, but a couple of your later shoe pictures are not that bad.  Anyway, you shouldn't really care that much about what others think.  If you are happy with them, then you wear them.  I am pretty sure I have a couple of pairs that might not go over very well if I posted them on this forum either, and I don't really care    Wear whatever makes you happy... that is all!
Yeah I'm all about what pleases me, not anyone else. I like all forms of women's shoes not just high heels.
I like them and I think you look good in them..  The whole idea here is ACCEPTANCE of guys wearing shoes that aren't the ordinary which means any kind of criticism is not needed.
Thank you. Plus PFFs are probably the easiest woman's shoe with any height that you can get away with wearing without too much criticism and are the easiest as far as acceptance, besides maybe platform boots. I once saw a picture of Prince in a tabloid magazine years ago wearing a pair exactly like a pair that I own. I wish I clipped it.

I definitely plan on buying a pair of these someday. I can wear a size 9 open-toe, so I'm good to go. They should make bigger sizes though. I'd rather get them in size 10.

6 inches was the tallest without a platform. 8.5 inches with a platform.

I used to hate these, but now I'm thinking more and more about getting a pair. I did get something similar from a Kmart that just closed down for real cheap, but they're more the "athletic" kind.
