It was my understanding that non shoe related topics were not supposed to be posted here. Past posts on skirts were moved to other topic areas. Please in force the rules fairly.

Those pumps are awesome. I was lucky enough to obtain a pair of Sebastian lace up ankle boots size 42 from DSW and they are incredible.

Not really HHplace quality. Too chunky and ugly!

It is hard to find a skirt that fits right, finding a dress is even harder. You just cannot beat the comfort of both. the Mideast people are way ahead of us. Seems women have this love/hate relationship with heels and dresses. Don't now why as they are both so beautiful!

I thought sexually oriented comments were not allowed at HHPlce. Just wondering why the moderators have not shut this down?

I understand what you are going thru. there are times in your life when you have to put heels aside and focus on current events. My advice is to store your heels somewhere safe so they can be retrieved at a later date. Most of all. Don't give the all away .

I was just wondering why soo many men design women's' shoes? a few of the heavy hitters include Steve Madden, Michael Kors, Louboutin, john Fluevog& Carlos Santana. seems to me a woman would be better at designing shoes as they spend so much more time in heels.

I always found getting the correct fit in sandals too be a challenge. Going down 1 size seems to work most of the time. Trying on for size is the best but hard for some of us to do including myself. I seem to be having better luck with wedge sandals these days.

It is great to be back. Got lost in the redesign of the site. Also went thru the purge stage soo many of the members have gone thru. Being mad at the world does not help either. So that said, back to accepting who I am. Self analysis is always hard !

The bottom line is a man's foot is structured differently than a women's foot. I have been struggling with this for 30 years. For me size 10 fits in length, width too narrow. Size 11 width correct and length too long. Enter the European shoe market and everything changes. I have bought shoes directly from Italy and find I need a size 43, which is completely a different size scale. I recently scored a pair of Saint Laurent pumps, size 42, and they are still on the small size. Men will never get the correct fit buying shoes designed for women. Until the manufacturers retool, we are faced buying shoes designed for women.
