  1. One is WAY ahead of others.... Queue jumpers...in any shape or form. In traffic, when they sneak around in the wrong lane. At checkouts, at theaters, airport check-ins etc' etc'. Next. Parents who don't teach their kids to put sweet wrappers IN THE BIN. I often congratulate parents who do, 'cause it is such a rare sight. Shane

  2. How do you measure heel height anyway ?. Is it the height of the very back part of the 'sole' ?. I think it should be the extra height it gives to the wearer. As one member said, 7" all day.... 'not likely'. Ballet shoes/boots 'ugly' ?. I wouldn't go that far, but they do look seriously unnatural, and I can't imagine anyone looking elegant or sexy walking in them. Shane

  3. I largely agree with terayon, but not the language. I think that any footwear that bushes the bridge forward of vertical doesn't look nice. Similarly on corsets, waists less than 60% of hips. That's not to say that it isn't nace for the wearer, just to look at. Shane

  4. The point about padding has occurred to me in the past. All high heels that I have seen have very thin hard soles, offerring NO impact cushioning. I did wonder if a softer sole would effect stability ?. My wife has trouble with her ankles tending to fall outwards, and once it starts, the shoue get distorted making the situation even worse. ANy comments on this ?. Shane

  5. I definately prefer spikes, but then I don't wear them (any more). Some 'wedges' are nice. Blades I've never heard of. Chunky, generally NO, but elegance is the priority. BTW. When people talk about 4", 5" etc, what toes this refer to ?. The height of the back of the sole, the height added to the wearer ?. Shane

  6. I hear what you guys are saying, and agree that in many cases, the level of evidence is crazy. Also, to the layers, it is just a competition to win. One idea I have, is to go back to mideval (how the f.. do you spell it) prision style. Cold cells, sleep on straw, gratuitous torture. Nothing unhealthy, but severely uncomfortable, basic food, none of this television, games room crap. Maybe, if they want to, study, but only allowed to continue if they realy put effort into it, and usefull subjects (i.e. No chemistry ..read bombmaking, law...to help them get off next time etc) Shane

  7. I think the British, and the Irish are WAY behing in learning a common foreign language, and this laziness may not be helped gy the fact that most other countries have a large proportion of maneageable English. In Ireland, we HAVE to do the Irish language, so reducing the opportunity for another 'modern' language. However, I do find that hte quality of the english language is attrocious. Even college graduates(3rd level) often don't speak, or write decent english. Shane

  8. There is something to be said for that, and also for someone else's comment, 'that a criminal should forfeit their rights' If you steal, then you should have no right to ownership. If you knife someone, then you should forfeit the protection of the law. Certainly, con's (at least for violent crime) should have no right to deny the taking of samples. This doesn't get away from you confidence in the justice system. Maybe, where the death penalty is concerned, the jury should be larger, and they should be split up into seperate groups for deliberation, and if any of the groups are not unanimous, then take a majority verdict for life imprisonment. That way, you would redise the effect of argument/persuasion swaying ALL the jurors.

  9. I was here about 4 hours ago, typing away, 10 fingered, but looking at the keyboard, when I suddenly noticed a black screen. My lovely new 15" TFT monitor had just died. F*@"it. Anywaty, in response to Bert, Hmmm, I cant see any direct relationship either. Maybe just a creative, and imaginative mind. Really, I am as happy with a lathe as I am with an oscilliscope. Not particularly good with a welder, but I can join 2 pieces of steel together. To Phoenix764, I have a wicked mind, but I don't think either of us is interested in another male. I just wish my s/o had more of an imagination.

  10. I've been very bad (rude). I've posted to several forums, and haven't even said hello. Hello. Now I have. Great fun here, lots of intelligent comments (unlike some sites). I'm a male admirer of HH's, with a reluctant wife, but BOY, does she look great when she does elevate herself. She's started corseting aswell which is great. Anyway, I'm Irish, an Electronics Engineer, abviously like HH, a bit deviant in my desires and fantasies, but haven't explored the possibilities much. Not interested in serious, painful or non-consensual bondage. That's about it for the moment. I'll be around for a while though. Shane

  11. I agree with 'IHeels' to some extent, and there are several parallels with Northern Ireland. Arafat, I believe has been treading a very narrow path. He has been trying to cool the sutuation, but without loosing the support of his own people. Gerry Adams similarly. Sharon is a complete asshole as far as I am concerned. (excuse the expletive). His policies remind me of the Natzi's during the war, in realtion to the resistance. 'You kill 1 of ours, we execute 10 of yours. Colin Powel, has the right intent, but how can we expect America to be regarded as neutral in this when they are pumping billions into Israel. I think the South Africans have the best chance of being trusted by both sides, especially as they have been through vaguely similar problems. S.A. must be give the highest praise in their achievements, largely without outside help, and there hasn't been the genocide and civil that many African countries have experienced after European/American/Russian influence receded.

  12. Most shoes above 3" with thin heels, nicely merged onto sole. I hate block heels, or heels right at the back. Most of these look as though the heel was stuck on as an afterthought. The point should be slightly 'aft' (rearwards) of the cenre of weight to look anyway natural. There's only one style worse than pratforms, and that's platform 'runners' .....yeuch. Shane

  13. I just love watching ladies in heels, but I usually notice the wat she walks first. Then, to her face, and a quick scan down, (not stopping at most men's favourite front view resting spot), then settle on the shoes/boots. Rear view, waist to feet, and the georgeous confidence that a practiced wearer displays.
