Ive had good luck with E-6000 craft adhesive.  They sell it at Home Depot, Lowes, Michaels, etc.

Hello everyone.  Just wanted to introduce myself.  I am the owner of Shoe Bottoms and we make sole protectors and colored sole covers for women's heels, wedges, flats, and mens dress shoes.
