  1. I agree with Dr.Shoe on that pair of boots. I picked up two pair of boots from a different seller but were the same chinese listings. They listed as a 14.5 W which should be a 46/7 in EU and therefore just my feet. When I got them they were probably a good 1-1.5 sizes smaller than listed. They were nice looking, shipped in the time frame that was listed, but were cheap and the faux suede still has that chemical smell. 6 months into owning them. Maybe the lasts on the heeled boots are closer to listed size. But I've not had success with the line of footware from those companies being true to the size listed. Disclaimer. I wear a USM 13/ US Women 15 but can usually fit in a USW14/Eu46 if needed.

  2. I found this picture when it popped up for an optical illusion widget that I have for yahoo.

I thought this was novel and you might like it.

The link goes to the original artists page as opposed to the optical illusion page where I first saw it.

  3. Having a men's size 13 it can be difficult but I've used www.barefoottess.com a few times. Most recently I ordered a pair of boots that was on their no return listing that fit with no problems. I ordered the item on Sunday evening and had it on my door step by Tuesday morning. I believe they do their shipping during the normal business week so if you order on a Friday it'll take a bit longer.

Both times I've had good turn around times with the company. I've not had to try their return policy so I can't help with that.

This is the most recent pair of boots I got.

I realize they don't have much of a heel. But they do come up to mid thigh and feel wonderful.

    Cheers

  4. I do believe that that is a picture of TBG. It certainly is an outfit he'd wear and the pleaser 8890 pull on boots are what he has been wearing recently. That photo was probably taken by one of the people TBG refers to as having no respect to ask before clicking. Though I do appreciate the picture and TBG's outfit is put together nicely.

  5. While I liked the link and the thought of fashions being ubiquitous to either gender. The pieces shown I would prefer not be seen on a male or female. Granted, I'm assuming the stylings are to be avant garde, I don't particularly like the business and apparent randomness of the outfits. I do appreciate the attempt tho. Cheers

  6. I have to say I'm not one of those men who don't notice. First thing after looking at a lady who just walked in is what they're wearing on their feet. If I like the way they look before I get to their footwear of choice +1 If they are wearing the type of footwear I like (mostly boots) +1 If both then +2 and I'm happy for the rest of the afternoon. :-)

  7. I would think that the only negative to take from that video would be the posters lack of competency at posting a video. If the poster had taken more than 2 seconds to rotate the video to a normal viewing angle then one wouldn't get neck cramps from watching it. Just like anything if you don't take care to put the effort in to what you're doing it will just come off as poor quality. But if you take a few minutes and focus on your idea, a recurring theme here with putting together your outfits and wardrobe TBG, then you pass as someone with their own style. Sorry for the pseudo rant. Bottom line the video taker = poor effort in trying to diss someone due to ignorance TBG showing off personal style = good work and keep it up, Kudos

  8. I'm actually surprised that you didn't go with your thigh boots being as brisk as it is here in Philly. I would have gone to the movies in a pair of over knee boots I have but going home after work and changing vs going to the bar and unfortunately watching Temple lose their bowl game was preferred. As an aside was Sherlocke Holmes worth seeing in the theater? I'll probable catch the flick at K o P after the kids go back to school in the new year. Keep up the great jaunts.

  9. That looked well enough done to get your shot on the next Food Network Star. The food looked good. Now to get the major networks over there fear of men in thigh boots. I'm not feelin the chap boots with the shorts. They, the boots, to me are better suited with no leg showing. The other outfits seemed to be closer to your norm based on what I've come to expect from you. Nice Job. On an aside does your stove not have pilot lights or do you just keep the gas off when not using it.?

  10. Apparently he's an inch shorter than his co-star Gwyneth Paltrow who does wear heels in the movie. So his wearing heals is more a means of not having to look up to his co-star. BTW the boots looked nice and I'd be all for a shift in our culture to allow all to wear heels if they felt so inclined.

  11. I was up in NYC today wearing Pleaser over the knee flats with my jeans tucked into them. Walked around China town and hit up a couple of anime stores then took the subway back to midtown. Walked around there for a few more hours and checked out a few book stores. Only problem I ran into was that they kept slouching down to knee height. I did notice a few looks of confusion but didn't hear any comments. I guess they say that if you don't look uncomfortable people don't react negatively. I can't imagine trying that with heels and walking all day. My feet were killing me as is. Cheers
