  1. Hi Jim C.

I was reading a blog of this girl from Ireland who clames she wears her ballet boots 24/7 she said she had a baby and the Dr.s wanted her to take the boots off but she refused and delivered the baby in her ballets. She has since gone off the grid and intered into a dangerous live style. .

    Dr Who 3

Im sure that blog is a fantasy, but it is still kinda interesting

  2. I would suggest that the definition of "permanent" is up for debate here. As pointed out, nothing is permanent. I think the definition of permanent , in this case, is not being able to flatten the foot at all, or to do so with accompaying pain. A state where wearing heels is far more comfortable than going barefoot.

  3. I couldnt think of a better place to come to !! Thats only because I live in SYdney. In fact today was a beautiful winters day, not a cloud in the sky, just cold enough for jeans and a sweater, and it was spent cruising around the nicest harbour in the world !. Sipping champagne as we cruised past the Opera House and under the Harbour bridge!! If you need some info on Sydney, where to go, what to see etc etc, please feel free to contact me either here, or private email No worries mate

  4. What a great update ! Thanks ! You certainly have some nice shoes.. Bt keep working at THOSE heels. Mind you, after reading all your adventures and looking at all the pics of your great heels, whn I saw the pic of your gardening shoes it did make me smile. they look kinda cute I think. ( I cant beleive I said that, and on this board LOL ) Rog

  5. Not sure if this is the right place for this post.. Ive just had new timber floors laid at my house, and I was reading the "maintenance instructions " last night ""High heel shoes, espcially worn ones, will dent any hard floor surface, even concrete. It is interesting to note that figures supplied by the National Wood Flooring Association of America indicate that an exposed heel spike can exert up to 13,790kPA (2000 ppsi) pressure on the floor when worn by a woman weighing 55kg. (When weight distribution is considered this is more than a two tonne truck or an elephant) """ No wonder floors get marked ! Rog

  6. In a moment of madness, I ordered the superach DVD from Archenemys last week. Its something Ive never done before. I was plesantly surprised to find it was delivered to Sydney Australia yesterday. And it actually plays ! I havent had a chance to watch it all but I can say the quality is far far superior to what you see on the preveiw clip So, from my very limited experience, archenemys are reliable. Mind you, I am now closely watching my credit card for unauthorised entrys Rog

  7. Interesting heels spotted in Sydny's Pitt St Mall today. A bit hard to describe.. Black open sandels with a 3" heel. Nothing special there. But what was interesting was that each shoe had two gold chains UNDER the sole. Each chain went from the outside edge just above where the sole touched the ground, and connected to the heel where it joins the bottom of the shoe.. So the chains ran in the gap between arch and heel. One on each side. They where slack enough to hang down a little in an upturned arch shape and obviously moved around a lot. I hope that makes sense ! Kinda different if nothing else Rog

  8. Tearing something, not breaking something -- they're used when someone has damaged their achilles tendon; the angle means the tendon doesn't have tension on it so it has a chance to heal.

Does that mean that when the cast comes off the person is trained into high heels, meaning as a consequence of the injury, they find themselves in heels untill they can get back down to flats ??

  9. Geoff You know Ive been studying the pics trying to work out where they are taken LOL no luck so far.. Apart from the obvious Mrs Macquaries Chair. Possibly Dover Heights for the harbour shots, and maybe Paddington or Glebe.. Im sure I wont work it out though mate. Maybe one day I may pass you in the street Rog

  10. Congrats Geoff and Jane. Your life will sure go through changes, even the bad ones are rewarding. Make the most of every minute as each minute is never the same as the last. I just hope Jane can keep wearing heels. In about 12 months she will be doing nothing but chasing children

  11. Sighting in Sydney This morning I saw a lady in her late 20s wearing a business type jacket and matching knee length skirt in light grey. Grey nylons and black heels. The heels where approx 5" pumps wth pointed toes and twin 1/2" ankle straps on each one. the heel was very thin.Very nice indeed. Great heels in this town is unusual

  12. Perhaps this should read "high heel non sighting Whilst waiting for my train last night a very attractive lady came onto the platform and sat down very close to me.. I of course immediatly noticed the black pumps with 4" heels she was wearing. Just as I was stating to think that my day just got better, she reached down and slipped both heels off and put them into a bag she was carrying. Then out of the bag she produced these awful flat sandels and put them on. It obviously made her feel better judging by her face, but it didnt do much for me !

  13. Just to let everyone know, there is a similar march organised for Sydney on Sunday 16th Feb starting at noon. Just like the earlier posts, I have never attended any kind of protest in my life, but I will be at this one. There are better ways to solve the Iragi problem. There is never any excuse to drop bombs. Its not Americans thats the problem, its the madmen in the White House

  14. I was wondering. If you want to be in 5" heels for a wedding, and you can already wear 5" heels, then why is it important to be permanently in 5" heels for the wedding ?? Just interested. Im not knocking it. I hope you will keep us upto date with your progress. Roger

  15. Ilse Congratulations on sleeping in the mules. Im sure you will quickly get used to it and will be fine for the whole night and in higher mules or heels The secret is just practice and then more practice. The longer your feet are held in that position the quicker you will acheive what you want. Glad I can help. Glad that living with my old flatmate has acheived something.. LOL Now Im intrigued.. What happens in Israel in April ? Roger

  16. Ilse I used to live with a lady who slept in her heels. She had worn them so long that she was stuck in them like yourself and found that she was more comfy in them even to sleep. That was some years ago now though. If your comfy in 5", then wear 5.5" all the time. If the heels get stuck in the bedsheets, then how about wearing mules, or something with a full heel. They may not look good, but if they are just for sleeping they may help.. You could even try some old boots and break the heel off. Just a thought The problem is that when you sleep, your feet will naturally return to the normal position and after 8hrs you will undo the training of the day. You really need to keep your feet in the heeled position ALL the time if you want to do this, and do it quickly.

  17. Ilse I think that if thats what you want, then you are going to need to do some training. There will always be a bit of stretch in your tendions / calf muscles, so if you want to have 4" as an absolute minimum then you will need to train so that say 5" is now your normal height. I think at if you wear them all day everyday you will acheive that. Sleeping in them or at least something that will hold your foot in position would be very helpful. You said you saw the foot trainers at spooks site. If you want what you say you want, then I think the trainers and / or / sleeping with heels may be necessary. I used to live with a lady much like yourself and thats pretty much what was required. Its your choice of course Roger
