Hi Kilty
Just want to say sorry for your troubles. I happen to be gender fluid and have found balance in my life so I know it can be done. But it ain't easy. Please don't give up or move to fast. You might look at http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/index.php%C2'>
I guess you can't give a link so google crossdressing forms and you might learn a few things. GOOD LUCK Ruby John

Try longer pants. Sorry I just couldn't resist. Ruby

Nice Boots. Did you do some work on heel pads on blade heels? Thanks Ruby

I find if I go shopping on a day when I feel strong, I can do a better job selecting and trying on shoes and clothes. A lot of times you can try on anything in the mens changing room. On a good day I will just set down and try heels on and completely ignore all the other customers. Try it again on a good feel day and you will do it. Good Luck Ruby

I did have heels replaced at two different shoe repair shops and they still made a lot of noise. They said they only use a hard rubber because the soft ones wear too fast. If you move to Chicago I will be GLAD to come to your shop. Thanks for the reply. Ruby

This is what I did. Pulled the old heel cap off. Then filled heel with foam and leveled it off with knife after it dried. I bought some new soles for Burkinstock Sandels and cut a new cap from them. Or buy a pair of used soft sole shoes from Goodwill and cut them up. Glued them on and trimmed to size. Click noise was gone. Good Luck Ruby

Talk to people at Skyscraper Heels at 2202 West Belmont Chicago. 773-477-8495 I know they have get togethers where you can wear heels as male. Buying shoes there is no problem as a lot of CDs and Queens buy from them. The quality is good and price is fair and I have had a good time buying. You might run into some interesting people also. It is safe. Good Luck Ruby

If I don't like the bling I would paint it same color as shoe and then it is much toned down. Good Luck Ruby John
