So, is there a way to walk in them?

I've seen vids on YouTube of some men (or women, but rare) that walk in them as if it were their 1st time in them, alot of wobbing, walking with knees bent, etc.

Could you explain how to properly walk in them?

When you wear heels that are too high for you; your knee will bend automatically, your knee will not be able to support you. So if you want to walk properly in high heels then you need to find out the correct heel height (appropriate to you). Now How to do that? Stand on flat surface bare feet and raise your self as high as possible so that you stand on your toes and ball of your (Comfortably) feet now measure the distance between your heel and ground. That would be your correct heel height. If you wear heels that are higher than your calculated heel height you will bend you knees and never be able to walk properly. (Some men are Exceptions) Now remember that girl’s feet are more flexible than men, so they can wear much higher heels than us. The second most important thing is your foot arch; your foot arch must match the arch of the heel (shoe). Choose correct high heel shoes and practice; I am sure if you do this, you would be able to walk like a model one day. Remember appropriate heel high and your foot arch are the key factors that decide how you walk in heels. Always walk heel to toe. You can swing your arms as you walk this will help you balance well on stilettos (Girls always do that)

Thank you; You are right, most of the women wear very low heels in India, but now picture is changing, in Metros you can see women wearing high heels mostly (4inches) I have a friend and she wears imported high heels (5 inches). ). I am very comfortable with 4 and 5 inches. Anything less than 3 inches is like wearing flat shoes.

It is a request to all men who enjoy wearing high heels (like me) to contribute their experiences and expertise regarding How to wear high heels (from men prospective)

Event today so many men don’t know how to wear high heels properly and how to walk gracefully in them. We all know about possible risks involved in wearing high heels (like back pain, problems regarding calve muscles, twisting your ankle etc.) and it is not wise to ignore these problems. Here are few useful and funny pointers for men:

1.Start with lower heels (2 inches) and practice at home. One to two hours daily are more than sufficient. If you prefer to wear heels secretly then choose your place and time carefully, so that nobody can disturb or discover you. If you are worried about the sound (Clank) your heels would make then I suggest nice and loud music would to the trick (you can use radio or stereo system). It is not advisable for beginners to wear stilettos.

2. Always walk heel to toe. Practice until you feel comfortable and confident with your heels. Avoid wearing high heels for long durations. After wearing high heels for more than 2 hrs. walk bare feet for 10mts. or so; It will help you to relax your feet.

3 Select you heels very carefully, you must be comfortable with Size and type of heel you intend to wear and it is always advisable to try the pair before you purchase it. However, if you already have pair of heels that fit you nicely and you are shy to try heels in store then you can take old pair of heels and compare them with your new ones. Your foot arch must match the arch of your heel shoe.

Balancing on heels is tricky business and it depends on how well you practice. If you feel that high heels are not your thing then please don’t wear them. I don’t consider myself expert in high heels. I’ve been wearing high heels for more than 10 years and I wanted to share my views and experience with you. I am not forcing anything on anyone; you are free to decide what’s good for you.

Well, it was just a thought; I am not against anyone and I didn’t write it to offend anyone. I fully support the cause of Men wearing high heels. Men in High heels is an evolutionary concept which is slowly becoming a reality, like I said people take time to accept change and I think some of us (that includes me) are still in learning process. However, in past few months I started going out in public wearing high heels and had few night time stroll in my colony and enjoyed it. In my first few outings I realized that it takes more courage to walk in heels (publicly) then to talk about it. Thus I developed great respect for men who do it everyday. I am Sorry if my article “The Secret Passion that keeps you alive” offended anyone.

Most fun part of wearing high heels (esp. Stilettos) is the sound they make. I voted stilettos with clank, I love that sound. But clank has only one disadvantage “they attract too much attention.” I live on first floor and when I walk, my stilettos make very loud sound, I love clank but person living on the ground floor gets irritated, so prefer to walk on carpet. I don’t want my enjoyment become others headache.

What ignorant men would do when they come across a decent man who is wearing high heels:

At first they will (foolishly) stare at your heels and unable to say anything.

Then they start thinking, (Which they have done only once in blue moon)

First thought: “HO Sexy High Heels”

Second comes the blank expression on face>

Wait! Now they are thinking again

“Oh I was expecting a wo, But…What the ,HOW #@**10101010100000100010010001001001!!!...”

Followed by a painful and forced smile.

Last and final thought: “Wish I could try those Heels, Lucky Man!!!”

“Men in high heels” some people find it really hard to digest this concept and would go to any lengths to criticize those who not just believe in it but also dare to wear high heels. Your girlfriend would dump you if she finds out that you wear high heels, well it’s not fair. After all it’s not a crime to wear heels. Some people ask me; why is it men want to wear high heels? I ask them “Why girls want to wear heels?” because high heels are sexy, fun and they make you more confident. That’s the common answer you would get from girls. Well that’s exactly why men want to wear them.

It is very simple to explain why so many people are against the idea of “Men wearing high heels” its physic you see “Static body resist change”. It will take some time for people to accept the fact that men can also wear high heels. I hope that time come soon. Remember Fashion is for all.

Well it depends on the heel height; I can wear 5 inch stilettos for 6hrs a day but I am really comfortable with my 4 inches; can wear them all day if I want. If I had a choice, I would never take them off, never give them rest because they look so Sexy and I love to ride them.

The Secret Passion that keeps you alive

One question that bothers me is “Is it good to keep my passion for high heels a secret?” I have seen some men who wear high heel publicly and say that they enjoy it. But the realty is that most of the men who love to wear high heels want to keep it as a secret. They fear that people would laugh at them and the worst is that wearing high heels would go against their macho image. High heels symbolize femininity and thus some people think that it’s against the nature of man to wear high heels? But think about it, if some how high heels are accepted as men fashion and you can wear them publicly without facing any problem, then after few years of your high heel freedom you may get bored. The thing I want to say is that it’s in the nature of man to keep fighting and resisting. I still remember my first pair of heels that I tried secretly and enjoyed it very much. The secrecy involved in your passion gives you immense pleasure that lasts long. Look at girls for example; they are free to where high heels but they don’t enjoy high heels as much as we do. For girls it’s not a BIG DEAL to wear high heels although they look sexy, but where is the fun? Whereas our secret keeps us motivated and committed to wear high heels and we men really ENJOY it.
