  1. Very rare, apart from the circumstances mentioned in previous posts. I'm know, I'm someone who wears them. I've only recently started wearing heels out. For me, heels are a special event thing. I'm normally too active & running around during the day. Having said that, just did a mile walk in a new pair tonight. Main problem in London would seem to be bad pavements & (in my area at least) muggers.

  2. I think seeing beautiful women in great shoes was what turned me on to the idea of wearing heels. Not many of my girlfriends over the years were in to heels - maybe that's what turned me on to the idea of wearing htem myself! I find platforms with stilettoes the sexiest look, it's also what I enjoy wearing. I've tried strappy shoes, they felt great (they were heels) but they didn't feel right to wear lookswise, as I'm not a TV. After much experimentation, I prefer Oxford-type shoes these days.

  3. I find ballet boots fascinating - I like the idea of trying a pair. Looks-wise, they do not have the grace of a well-designed pair of heels. Maybe one day I'll get a pair, although I don't think I'll ever wear them out of the house. I do like them on women & I admire anyone who can master walking on them.

  4. Ilse, To be permanently high-heeled - you goddess! Tai Chi is good core muscle strength & keeping the conncetive tissues is good working order. Especially if you are walking heeled on less than perfect pavements (like the UK!). My friend is a regular 5" wearer & tai chi devotee & reckons it's saved her at least 3 possible trips to the hospital & gives her more stamina for wearing high heels. Good luck!

  5. Hello, I'm new here. Just thought I'd say 'Hi'. I love wearing heels, & I love a great pair of heels on a woman. I've finally found a pair I'm truly happy with - I'm quite particular about footwear - whatever the style & for whatever purpose. Sitting here now wearing them having recently discovered this site... well, that's cool! Greetings to you all. Givemeheels
