You know I had never really thought much about this. I do typically wear some sort of high heel slide or mule when I'm at the pool on vacation. I guess they are kind of fun to wear when you are wet and the deck is wet. The slippery surface is kind of fun to walk on I guess. How many other girls regularly wear heels at the pool?

I wore platform and wedge heels most days, but I had one pair of 4" stiletto pumps that i wore occasionally with tight capris on days where I wanted to look my best for the boys

I started wearing pretty high heeled platform sandals to school when I was 12-13 (7th grade), though I borred from my girlfriends for a while. By the time I started high school at 15 I was wearing heels almost every day.

It really depends on the shoes. Most 5" heels I can wear just fine, but much higher than that and I can run into problem. I bought a new pair of pumps with 5.5" heels a couple months ago and had a friend drop my off at the mall. We were planning on meeting later at a restaurant outside the far end of the mall. Well, it was getting hard to walk 2 hours later when I reached the end of the mall. My feet were already hurting. I walked outside and realized the restaurant was down the road about half a mile. I tried to call her but my cell phone was dead. There was not much I could do other than walk to meet her. It was difficult, but I made it

I have close to 60 pairs, all on the shelves in my closet. Most are pumps with about 4-5" heels, many are sandal styles with platforms and 5" heels, and half a dozen boots.

I wear 4-4.5" pumps almost every day and they feel fine. I have a pair of 5" that I wear some days and they are comfortable too.
