  1. They look very nice Mick18 - lucky boy! I've been looking for some heels that i could buy and show my partner as an introduction to me-in-heels and they may be suitable. The design is not too over the top - and available in size 12? Hope you get another night of indulgence soon..

  2. I wish you the very best of luck with your venture. I have worked in the retail industry (on and off) since i was at school (being s/e for 4 years) and i hope my observations can help.

THE MOST IMPORTANT DETAIL: Please make sure that you are making a healthy profit margin. It sounds brutal, but if you can't compete against the internet, don't do it. I have had customers come in store, ask info for an hour, receive good product details, and instead of buying from us, go for an online purchase instead. THEN, come in store and tell us that they managed to get it for £1.00 cheaper @www.cheapcrap.com and think that we would be happy for them:penitent: It is all well and good offering an environment that we feel confortable buying in but, if the profit is not there - don't do it!!!

If you can get a descent mark up (buying in bulk if you can) then, as firefox says in the earlier post offering "unisex" shoes/boots will help us "more reserved" customers feel comfortable buying from you. Be welcoming and get a good reputation and i think people will go out of their way to shop with you.

Best of luck.:santa_hat: oh, don't forget to stock larger-than-currently-available size fashionable shoes (not only 5-6inch stereo-type tranny shoes!!)

  3. LailaLily, i have to say your taste in skirts/heels is fantastic - if you can achieve 'the look' from the pictures you uploaded then you are on to a winner. I've never really thought about the best clothes to complement heels, but i think you've found it:smile: Sexy AND classy.

  4. I like Miss Snake's posts. They aren't sensored to be "nice" - she just expresses her opinion - long may they continue. I think Marcus was saying that wearing heels does not make a male heel wearer de-masculanised - Let's face it (depending on your interpretation of masculinity) it does!! Although different cultures view masculinity slightly differently, I think most people here look from a traditional/medieval?/historical/religeous/mythical/christian view - I've got a vision of King Arthur gallantly striding forward leading his men into battle and getting his 4 1/2 inch Jimmy Choo's stuck in the mud :santa_hat: Those Arthurian legends could have been sooo different!!

  5. Ah yes Dr Shoe - i remember it well - the summer days used to fly by when i worked for a haulage firm. Nice description Foxy - knee high stiletto's and a good walk - what a combination:smile: I have to report a severe shortage of high-heeled beauties this morning, which, considering i live and work in Essex is very disappointing:cry1:

  6. I know we all admire women in high heels (obviously) and we ALL LOOK at women in heels, so, I thought it might be fun to start a thread where we can post on here a descriptioon of some of the "looks" that we've seen and thought were hot. You never know - they may be a member of hhplace!! I'll start: Yesterday morning, female, mid twenties, grey skirt, tight black top and black tights, with bright red tartan high heels. HOT. Nice walk and figure. The darker colour of the clothes made the Red shoes stand out. Yesterday evening in the pub, female, mid/late forties, rounder figure with lovely legs, conservative black dress, black nylons and killer black patent heels. Very, very nice. Anyone else?

  7. You are quite right Foxy, i admire anyone who has the guts to open up to their partner - i'm just building up the courage to start the conversation....i'll have a look on the site for a useful topic. "How to tell your SO" :santa_hat: I just want to finalise a look that i am happy with, because she's bound to say "lets have a look then"

  8. I wear a size Male 11 - 12 uk, so everything pointy-toed is a squeeze. I'll never be able to walk into a shop and try shoes on :santa_hat: (not that i would have the confidence to do so!) The style of h-heel shoes i can get hold of can be a bit OTT for me, i think i would have more success with subtle heels, 3 or 4 inch in height. Never mind - the comedy value of me walking in very high heels is worth every penny i've spent on them!

  9. Thanks for the posts - they made me smile today in the office.:santa_hat: Amanda - did you do the "get-up-quickly-carry-on-walking-no-one-will-notice" routine? My most recent embarrassing moment came when my SO and i were leaving the house to go to work. On our way out she picked something up from the floor. As i passed her, heading to the door, i noticed it was a size 48 pointy toed inner sole from a pair of boots i had been wearing the day before. I just caried on walking, got on my bike and headed off to work. As i looked back, she was standing in the doorway with my size 48 innersole in one hand, her other hand over her mouth and a look of disbelief and realisation on her face. Until that moment she had no idea about my liking for heels, but i think she's worked it out......although we still haven't talked about it yet!

  10. Thanks very much for the replys, you're very welcoming - i've spent the afternoon enjoying searching the site - still loads to read...:santa_hat: Loveshiheels - i haven't got a "public look" that i am comfortable/confident with yet - i would like to wear non-fetish high heels, but have a male UK size 12 :w00t2: so, i'm limited with choice! Having said that, i know what i think would look ok for me & i'm only 45 min drive from London. I'll search the site for more info on the heel meet. Thanks.

  11. I am going to sound like 100 other people who post on here, but i have to say it - what a great site! I'm so glad i've found a place with like-minded people who enjoy everything that high heels offer, as much as i do. I am hoping that reading about other hh admirers & wearers will help me to understand myself a bit better and allow me to fully enjoy (and share) my fascination of high heels - without feeling like a bit of a perv! I'm 31 years old, male and think the sexiest thing in the world is the sight and sound of a women wearing & walking in heels. Although, after seeing some of the male hh avatars-they're looking pretty good too! Do other people find that their high heel admiration brings out a contradiction in their personalities? - i'm happy to act in a masculine way - sport, humour etc, but also feel the need to wear high heels. I have tried to deny myself the pleasure of heels in the past, but realise now that it is part of my personality and with the help of this forum, look forward to embracing and embellishing my high heel experiences. I would just like to end by saying that it is wonderful to see some females on this forum sharing their experiences with us, thankyou, and my hat goes off to the male forum members who have the strength and courage to wear their heels in public - i think the furthest i've managed to make it is 20 meters down the road and v.quickly back! Any questions, just ask.:santa_hat:
