  1. I have finally got my ballet boots delivered from Punitive shoes and it is the model that is called Wanda. I am really please even though I realized that my shoes are about one size to big. The Wanda shoe is really easy to walk in I think that is because it is shaped more or less like an ordinary (dancer´s) ballet shoe. I use toe cushions from a dance store for padding and I can walk without much problem in them. Tonight I even tried a few steps outside and I easily managed to walk 50 meters or so in them. I am really happy about this...I hope to be able to post photos and maybe even a video soon.

  2. you will have to download and install a Divx codec and that will cure the problem

You do not need DivX (which essentially is a form of MPEG-4) for this. The video is an MPEG-1 movie (MPEG-2 is used on DVD:s) which most often have an .mpg extension. MPEG-1 movies should play in Windows Media Player, Real One Player and QuickTime Player.

If you have not tried QuickTime Player, I definately recommend it. When you unlock the Pro features for 29 USD (I think) it means that you can convert between formats, cut and paste parts of the video as well as taking still image snapshots. I wish more people use the so called "progressive download" feature of QuickTime which means that the movie starts playing after around 15-20% of the movie is downloaded. Something between streaming and file download...

    Get it at: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download

  3. I've never tried ballets but that has intrigued me. Another wow.

I am fortunate to have tried them and it went really fine. I could walk in all of them but the Oxford style with steelreinforced sole was really great. They were almost comfortable and looked sooo nice on my feet. I have ordered a pair from punitiveshoes now - the Wanda model - so we will see what they are like and if I can walk in them too..

  4. Since there isn't a forum for this, I guess this is a close to the topic as can be. These are our first movie we made. The digital camera I have can take up to 38 second movie clips and stores it in Quick Time format. I ran them through Premire and converted them to .avi format. You'll need the DivX plugin to view them. You can get it at http://www.divx.com. Each one is around 3.5MB or so. These are aour first even movies. THe camera dosen't record sound...sorry. Enjoy. :D

I just wonder why you decided to convert them to avi and them compressed using DixX. QuickTime is a great container to post movies on the web. Apples trailer site is a good example: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/trailers.

If you need some quick-start tips on how to do this, I´ll be happy to help.

  5. I have been in NYC and finally got a chance to try ballet heels and it was great!

The first shoe store we found was called "Religious Sex" and is located on 7 St. Marks Place just west of Astor Place. They had a really nice selection of shoes in all heights from 3 inch to 6 and ballet heels. The main brand was "The highest heel" and I bought a pair of 6 inch boots. Their ballet heels seemed not to be of the reinforced models so they were not good for walking, although very nice looking. It was my first try-on and it felt great.

Then we went to Demask which is located on 135 West 22nd Street between 6th and 7th Avenue. They had a lot of ballet heels with the more flat toe tip, all in UK sizes. I tried a size 9 it was too big for me unfortunately. To my (and a few others!) great surprise I had no problem standing up all by myself and had a short walk in them through the store. I could walk in ballet heels! Here is some proof of me standning in them at least.

Next we headed to another shop located on the West 20nd Street between 7th and 8th Avenue. They had an even wider assortment of ballet heels but this time in the more sleek pointy style with extremely thin heels. To my great surpris the Oxford model I tried on was really sturdy and nice and I could walk and stand in those too.

Now I only have to see if they are really worth the money, maybe I start with a cheaper pair from PunitiveShoes first.

  6. The weekend in NYC was just wonderful and after a while we managed to find the right places for ballet shoes.

  7. Thanks for this, If anyone have any more tips and suggestions I will be even more happy. When you are in a big town for a short matter of time it is so much easy if you know where to look right away. I will try to go to Demask and see what they offers and I have sent an email to Qualifetish to find out if there are any resellers in NYC. Hopefully I know what it is like standning in ballet heels in a week or so

  8. Before you buy your boots, however, I have to warn you of one thing. I've compared these shoes to the ballet boots made by qualityfetish and there are a very big differences. The heel on these is about half an inch higher than on my boots, even though the foot length is the same. The pitch of the foot is between five and ten degrees greater. In these, you really are thrown right the way forward.

Having said that, the fixing on the heel is much more stable, because whereas the boot has a defined "arch" to which the heel is attched at the back, the sandal has a much flatter sole. The heel is a lot thicker at the top and is attached to about twice as much of the sole as on the boots. It makes for a much more robust heel and less likely to separate.

So, that means that it might be more difficult to learn to walk in shoes from PunitiveShoes but on the other hand they will probably last longer? Can you walk in your boots from Qualifetish?

  9. Glad to hear that you have finally recieved them and they certainly look good on the pictures. However, I was surprised to find that you have ordered the "slingback" version. What is your experiences from wearing the shoe? Is it too unstable and is the sole sturdy enough for walking? Looking forward to more pictures as well as a video of you walking in them! I am seriously thinking of buying my dear Wanda´s now, especially after being inspired from the german TV-show Sat1 Good luck!

  10. Heike wears heels that are at least 7" high. However, she's bow-legged and really doesn't walk very gracefully. But, still worth the time to view.

Yes, Heike is interesting and she can walk in them but I was thinking of the presenter (ex ballet-dancer) of a German TV show in Sat1 channel who walked in ballet heels more or less like normal heels. Have a look at:

    http://de.groups.yahoo.com/group/ThomasBalletHeelsClub/

What I was wondering about was if it perhaps more difficult to be able to walk that good in 7 inchers due to the steep angle compared to a trained ballet dancer. That was what I would like Laurie to comment on.

  11. Hi All,

Thanks for the support from you all, we do intend to do some more Ballet Boot Videos. One idea is to get Mistress Nathalie to train Candy to become an expert in them, both in latex of course and Candy in bondage as well. Something like training a young pony.

I checked out the Sat1 movies, they were from a German TV programme called Sat1 (!) and shows the presenter of the show walking in them, she is an Ex ballet dancer. The programme was instigated due to a German Newspaper stating that Ballet Boots were the latest fashion in London ! Based on the Liz Hurley photo shoot.

    cheers

    Vidking

Anybody know if there are additional footage available from this (German) show and if somebody can translate what the presenter really says while she is walking?

  12. It would be very nice to see you wear 7 incher since I think you have the potential. By the way have you seen the German TV show clip where a woman is walking quickly and safely in ballet heels? How do you think of that compared to wearing 7 inchers?

  13. It is so nice to see your stories and to see your progress towards 7-inch heels. You seem to have a good sense of style which will make it even more exciting to see the first pictures of you in nice clothes and 7 inch heels. I am still training in my 5,5 inch stillettos, the same model as Lauries latest (The Highest Heel) and it feels great to finally be able to walk in them. I can now walk down to the store and do some shopping and get back again, feels great. Yesterday I tried my first 6 inch heels on and believe it or not but I could walk in them. My knees were not completely straight but anyway it was a very nice feeling. And since they were slingbacks they were surprisingly comfortable without squeezeing my toes like the 5,5 inch does. I have also seen the new shoes at Punitiveshoes and would just love to hear from anybody who have ordered from them.

  14. Interesting to follow you steps forward in wearing really high heels. I envy being able to walk a whole day in heels that high. I have been using my 5 inch stillettos a while now and I am doing better and better. Earlier this year I was able to walk 500-600 meters without a problem but now I am done after just a hundred or so. But it feels great, just keep up training I guess. Hope to get a pair of ballet when I can walk in these shoes. Anybody with experience from wearing the Wanda-style from Punitiveshoes?
