Nice choice ! Looking at the sole and heel, I'm sure they don't make much noise while walking...
They really don't! They're quiet, comfortable, and they blend in easily with my existing wardrobe. I love them!

I just bought a pair of square-toed, chunky-heeled boots from Torrid. I love them! Been out twice already, didn't notice whether or not I got second glances...

I've bought three pairs of heels from them, as well as several other fetish-related items. In all cases I simply walked into their store, asked for what I wanted, and was treated with 100% professionalism. I made it a point to thank them for their courteous service ... after all, if a guy can walk in and buy a french maid outfit and a pair of locking heels (vanity-434) over the counter and be treated respectfully, they've got my money.

Looks great! Congratulations on your first outing!

When I told my girlfriend, she was initially opposed for two reasons: 1) It wasn't "something that men do" in her mind 2) She felt that when I wore heels it took away from her own femininity and made it less special when she did it (note: to date, I haven't seen her in heels ... ever) We've talked about it a couple more times since, and she's gradually becoming more okay with the fact that I own and wear shoes with high heels. Not "okay" as in accepting or encouraging, but "okay" as in don't-ask-don't-tell and she won't break up with me over it. The plus side is that out of the blue yesterday, she showed me a picture of some platforms she was interested in and asked me what I thought of them. (Steve Madden "Majore" platform sandals)

I just picked up a pair of Pleaser Vanity-434 4" pumps with locking ankle straps yesterday. Of course they went on my feet as soon as I got home and they haven't been off yet!
Two pics of my new heels, taken yesterday:

Started sniffling the day after Christmas. My sinuses got really bad for a while. It's clearing up now but definitely not gone yet...

Ex-girlfriend was completely against the idea of me in heels, even though she painted my toenails a couple of times, did a set of acrylics on me once, and kept wanting to pluck my eyebrows. *shrugs* Current girlfriend knows I like to blur the gender line, and is neutral about it, but I have not yet told her about my heels. Those will be a "Christmas gift to myself" when I do tell her, soon.

Hi everyone! I've lurked at this site for a short while now, and wanted to finally introduce myself! Thanks to all the encouraging messages in this forum, I finally plucked up enough courage to go out and buy my very first pair of platform heels three days ago! So this is both a "Hi!" and a "Thank you!" to everyone! My new heels are the EL-557-LEA 5" chunky heeled platform sandal. I bought them from Pierre Silber and will post a picture of them when I can create an avatar. Just learning to walk in them, thus my username... I look forward to participating in these forums!
Would heels worn by a woman still be attractive if ...?

Gonna have to go with Morpho on this one. Jeans have come a long way since their inception, and although they're everywhere now, they've evolved into "men's" and "women's" jeans. If (hopefully when) it does become acceptable for men to wear heels regularly, they won't look like the heels women normally wear. I think men's heels will start with chunky heels, blocky squared toes, etc. to preserve the slender, curvy, feminine aspect for the women. There would be "men's heels" and "women's heels" just like we have with jeans. If men and women alike regularly wore similar heels, then yes that would take away from the attraction. But I don't see that happening. So yes, I would still find women in heels very beautiful and alluring.
