When I removed my 4 inch black strappy sandals and walked barefoot thru the scanner, the woman behing me looked interested. She sat next to me on the plane where we exchanged experiences about wearing heels on bare feet in winter. We had to walk down steps to pick up our baggage. She complimented me on how well I walked as I clacked down the steps.

Wear them. Last week I had to travel by plane. I wore black high heeled sandals, despite snow and temperatures below freezing. I got lots of looks when I took them off and put them in the bin to be X-rayed, and when I sat down afterwards to put them back on. The woman who sat next to me on the plane and I talked about our experiences wearing high heeled sandals in the winter and in the snow.

If she really cares about you, your wife or girlfriend should support your activities. Several years ago, I bought my wife and I matching high heels to wear for a weekend get-away. I shaved my legs and feet at my wife's suggestion. My wife decided the I needed dressier heels for dinner so she found a shoe store that sold my size and bought two pairs of strappy high heels and a bottle of maroon nail polish. I wore 4 inch black strappy heels to dinner and to the movies that night with jeans. A few people looked when they heard my heels clacking on the pavement or down steps, but only one comment was made by by a woman sitting next to me in the movies. She remarked that my nails looked great and that more men should wear heels. My wife has been 100% supportive, especially after these positive comments.

I get my nails done regularly, usually with a red color. My wife along with other ladies in the salon have given me nothing but compliments.

While walking thru the eatery, some heads turned to the snapping of the wood on my bare soles and to the clacking down stairs, but there was only one comment made by a female friend we saw: "you look good in those". The next day, I took my wife's advice and shaved my legs and feet, and applied some nail polish. The next week, she bought two pairs of 3 inch narrow heel strappy sandals in size 13 and dared me to wear them on a shopping trip to the mall. I did so, and have been wearing them out on a number of occasions. The longest time period was for a 3 day winter trip to Atlantic City.

I became a show off when my wife told me how good I looked in black strappy heels. I wear them with shorts or with rolled up jeans, just to make sure that there are not doubts about me wearing heels.

I wear black strappy heels out and about all the time, so I just answer the door. The combination of heels, shaved legs, and nail polish usually provokes no comments.

My wife continues to encourage me to wear the strappy heels she buys for me. She has never had a problem with the ides of what others might think. She engages in conversations with others about what color nail polish I should wear, and encourages me to shave my legs every other day.

When my wife discovered my love for heels, she bough me several pairs of 4 inch strappy heels, suggested matching colors for nail polish, and and insisted that I wear them out and about with her. This year, she says that she will provide me with a couple of mini skirts to wear with the heels.

I usually wear black strappy sandals with a 3 inch stilletto heel. My wife is OK with me wearing these, but she insists that I keep my legs and feet shaved and that I wear clear or skin colored nail polish.
