  1. I'm size UK10 in shoes and 11 in Boots, and there is still not as much choice as I would like, but as girls feet are getting bigger I don't think it will be too long before lots more styles will be available in our size. I've been to a lot of nightclubs in big cities recently and the number of 6ft+ girls nowadays is incredible, some looked like their feet were size 11 they all had very nice high heels too! One of the lads I was with has size uk7 feet and a couple of the girls we got talking to, one with size uk10 feet, kept joking about the size of his feet and another part of his anatomy, which I found very funny Scooby

  2. Hi all

I came across this thread before about the damage to floors caused by high heels. It takes a bit for the thread to get going but basically the girls didn't seem to care about the damage there shoes did, they told a bloke who had 2.5K damage done to his floor not to worry about it and get a life, one thought it was perfectly acceptable to use her heels to trash her ex boyfriends house, another thought it was fine to kick holes in somebodies walls just because she thought their party was boring.

I think their attitude is terrible, personally I would never allow myself to knowingly damage someone elses property and wondered what the consensus of opinion would be on here.

Do you think the girls are right or is it me that needs to get a life too !!

  3. Hi Chris I know what you mean about Kate Beckinsale,I had planned to marry her for a while now, until that is, I saw those feet, now I fear she might have to find somebody else. Scooby

  4. Something else that comes into it is the number of shoes, in each size, they can sell. If they are going to tool up to make different sizes that work costs 'less per shoe' if they sell thousands ,compared with selling a few hundred to us in larger sizes. There is no great conspiracy out there to rip off people with larger sizes,if there was money in it they would go after it. Maybe whats happened is the market for large sizes has increased in recent years and manufacturers have been slow to respond, and the current manufacturers have put their prices up accordinly?

  5. In the Girls forum Roz has started a thread about how much the girls have spent on shoes in 2008,which was quite a lot but maybe not as much as some of the women in this forum, check out these threads from the purse forum which I came across whilst surfing

  6. Hi Shortskip You do indeed sound depressed, and in fact I have a lot of sympathy for how you feel because a couple of years ago I had similar feelings. Personally I felt alone, and that nobody understood me or my point of view.I felt like I couldn't connect with people and felt like I was from another planet.I desperately wanted to connect with people but couldn't seem to get close. Adding to all this was confusion about wanting to wear feminine clothes and a relationship that had turned bad In your post you mention about going to see your doctor, and that is exactly what I did.He put me in touch with a therapist who turned out to be brilliant. On my first appointment I told him all my problems(I cried like a baby too I'm not ashamed to admit) and over the next couple of months we discussed everything and he put things in a completely different perspective and made me feel so much better I can't tell you. I only had seven or eight meetings in total and can honestly say I've not felt depressed since, some times I even feel very happy now which is something I had never felt in my life before. It also gave me the strength to change many things in my life for the better I can't recommend getting help enough, and wish you the best for the future Scooby

  7. I've found a similar thing.Just lately I've been wearing heels a lot more than normal over the holidays and the balls of my feet and my toes have started to hurt more and more. Its a bit like when I play tennis,if I play too often I get tennis elbow and it will not go away unless I stop playing for a while, which is annoying but just a fact of life. Sometimes its good to have a break from things Scooby

  8. The fact that every time I think I have a little time to myself for a bit of heeling sods law conspires against me and I have to do something boring instead Cars with badly adjusted headlights which are about twice as bright as the sun wind me up,the stupid part is they would be able to see better themselves if their lights pointed towards the road instead of the sky:penitent: In fact has anybody else noticed how the brake lights on new cars also seem to be far too bright thesedays.I blame the LEDs people that put their foglights on,at the first sign of fog, even though visability is still about half a mile. These same people then still have them on a week later GRRRRRR. I could go on all day but I won't cus I'll get myself all wound up. I think i'll go and put my heels on and relax (que phone, doorbell etc etc) Scooby

  9. I went on a night out in town last weekend and have never seen so many high heels, virtually every women was wearing 'proper high heels'

As we were walking from one club to another there were a group of girls in matching black dresses and brightly coloured tights each in a different colour, teamed up with very nice high heels,They looked fantastic.

I can't see how women will ever give up high heels, unless they loose the desire to look good which I can't see happening ,can you?

I don't think we need to start worrying just yet.

By the way I think the girls with the colourfull tights were inspired by this video

you need to click on video called 'up'

I think you will you will like it!!!

  10. I agree I'm a uk size 10 and my 5" heels don't look that high, the slope of my foot looks similar to what you see women wearing in town for example. Its not until I get to 6" that they start to look high, and to have the front of my foot vertical would need 7.5" heels but unfortunately my ankles are not flexible enough:mecry: What does my head in is when you look on ebay, and the pic shows a towering heel which looks really sexy, and then the description says size uk 11 and 4 " heel. The heels that arrive would look nothing like the pic,What a con

  11. cheers for the explanations, they make perfect sense when you think about it:smile: .I'm still a bit disapointed I wasn't 6'4" though. :santa_hat: After looking at the picture in Toms post I like to see women in heels that look the same height as the 12 cm heels in that pic, because they can usually still walk gracefully. With the higher heels like those 16cm or higher the ankle joint has no movement left and the wearer starts to look like they are about to s**t themselves,if you know what I mean.Just look at half the videos on youtube for examples LOL I admit some people can still walk well, that height does look good in photos and in the bedroom though. 12. I'll have to say I have only seen young girls wearing them recently when I've been on nights out, but they wear all kinds of heels just to be fashionable. If I was to see an older woman say 25 or over I wouldn't think Essex girl at all.I would feel just the same as I do when I see any women wearing highish heels, which is a mix of awe and respect,I usually want to give them a compliment or some words of encouragement but I never have the bottle incase they think i'm a pervert or something. I saw a woman in my local shop (which is normally a high heel desert) and she was wearing a pair of well used black leather heels and the front of her foot was almost vertical. What made it so special though was the ease and grace with which she moved,I wanted to tell her how awesome I thought she was but I just stool there and said nothing LOL. Scooby

  13. I regularly drive in 5" heels and don't find it a problem at all.Sometimes when its safe to, I like to drive fast and I usually save this for when I've got normal shoes on. I find I don't have the same finese when in heels,so I drive slower,in fact I normally drive a lot slower because I don't want to get to my destination and have to take my heels off :santa_hat: One thing that is bad about driving in heels is kicking the sill and damaging the paint when I get in and out :w00t2: Scooby

  14. Hi all I measured how tall I was today wearing some of my heels and the results surprised me.All the shoes are courts and I measured the heel height vertically down from the back of the heel Bare feet 5'9 1/2" 4" heels....... 6' 3/8"........... gain in height 2 7/8" 5" heels....... 6' 5/8"........... gain in height 3 1/8" :w00t2: 5.5" heels.....6' 7/8"........... gain in height 3 3/8" :santa_hat: 7" heels ......6' 3/4"........... gain in height 3 1/4":mecry: I'll have to say I thought I would have been much taller so I did it twice and got the same results.I can't understand how I can go from a 4" heel to a five" and only get 1/4" taller ? I thought I would be about 6'4" with the 7" heels but to be fair I can't get my legs straight so that will probably have affected the results,I can with all the others heels though. Anybody else been geeky enough to try this LOL ,or can explain it for that matter ? ScoobyHH
