  1. Hi, Thomas Gottschalk is (in)famous for doing that occasionally. So this shoe swap is not the only time Thomas had done that. He has size EU43 (as far as I know). In this video the shoe swap can be seen 0:35 - 0:45. As far as I remember he has also done that shoe swap thing with Paris Hilton, unfortunately it's not in this video.

  2. There's a fundamental problem with reconstructions -- it is extremely difficult to separate the mind-set of the reconstructor from the results. Meaning the persons doing the reconstruction can bias the results to fit their preconceived notions. I would bet that you could take almost anybody's skull and construct either a masculine or feminine face to fit it. People come in all shapes and sizes, some of them are guys and some of them are gals.

It is crucial that a reconstruction be performed by an un-biased person or a group. That is clearly not the case here as this bunch has already stated what they want to find. It is likely that they will find it but its validity will be debatable.

As far as the Egyptian mummies -- one crucial aspect was the lack of moisture. The bodies were basically dehydrated, easily attainable in a desert climate. Dehydration prevents bacteria from decomposing the remains.

That's perfectly true, only a totaly unbiased reconstruction will give a true result.

There are some fundamental differences between a male and a female skull. I'm in no way a physician, but I have read some articles on FFS.

For example, on a male skull the bone underneath the eyebrows is thickend, the jaw is more square-cut with a prominent chin and the forehead is angulated, while on a female skull the forehead is almost rectangular, the jaw is rounded and the cheeks are more prominent. So to a professional it should be quite obvious if a skull is male or female.

You are also right about the Egyptian mummies. After removing the inner organs the next step of mummification was drying the corpse with caustic soda. That would remove all moisture completely. Also it will desinfect the whole corpse, so any natural decomposition will stop immediately.

  3. What a load of bunkum. he wasn't gay, he was a transvestite, most of the world's cleverest men are.

    <<<< Case in point! lol

Ok there are a bunch of scientists that don't know anything out there. Let's start with A) he died 419 years ago :pulsingheart: they did not have embalming back then. Now those two points made there is no way they could confirm anything as there could not possibly be any flesh left, even his skeleton and presumable his casket would be disintegrated or at the very least be very fragile by now.

I say leave the genius cross-dresser lie in piece and get on with more important science.

    T&H

If the skull is fragile or not largely depends on the burial place. In well aerated soil it's true and even the bones will desintegrate quickly. In non aerated soil or in complete absence of oxygen like in a swamp or in absence of humidity like in a crypt even the skin will last.

Anyway, it's amazing what modern autopsy methods can do. I've seen on TV how they have reconstructed a human face with only a bare skull. And that was not on CSI, it was on a German science report.

So if they should find his skull it's well possible to reconstruct the face and even morphing it into female.

But in my opinion, let him rest in peace and let's enjoy his work unspoiled. We don't need to know that.

  4. I've thought long about making another reply. But I think it will be best to make truce and let the matter rest. We are all people and have the right to make up our own mind. Tech, you have your point of view and I have mine, let's leave it like that. So, no offense (hope that makes sense in English, in German we would say: Nichts für ungut). Markus

  5. Merci beaucoup, oder vielen Dank, für die Hilfe, werd mal in meinen Archiven wühlen ob sich da etwas findet.

    Danke nochmal marhill711 ..

    iibb,

as far as I remember the rules in this forum, all text should be in English, so that everybody can read it. Since the two mayor languages in Belgium are Dutch and French I thought I post both. But assuming from your German reply, do you come from the small german speaking part in eastern Belgium?

  6. Secondly, Tech is just expressing his own personal opinion and you shouldn't take it to heart as there are plenty on here who will respect and admire you for the barriers you are working to break down.

(bold emphasis in the quoted text is added by me)

Ahem. I think you have an unusual way of expressing yourself, if the above is meant to be an example of you being "polite".

The way you express yourself does not sound to me like somebody trying to give a personal opinion (like in "I think this and that" or "I believe this or that would work better"), but as somebody who is expressing himself in absolute truths that can not be disputed (like: "this looks crap"). There are different ways to say the same things, and personally I feel that you could have expressed yourself better.

This time I hope Tech isn't taking offense in this. Reviewing Techs recent post I can't help but feeling that he's in a bad mood lately. I have never seen him bickering so much before. In the past I didn't write much, but surely I was reading on HHplace at least every other day.

Afterall, this is his forum and he's got to keep this place and his other projects running. But he surely was more polite before.

Let's hope he takes some time to think about his recent attitude and hopefully change it back to the one he had before.

  7. My first question would be, why on earth would you choose a female trouser suit, and why a blouse?

From the pictures you have posted, it just looks like a BIG woman in a badly fitting baggy suit...

The cut of a womens suit is completely different to a mens, as is the shape, and to pull off something like that, you truly would need shape (Not the outward bound kind either)

Dont take this the wrong way, and I truly mean no offence, but if saw a woman dressed like that, I'd wonder if she got dressed in the dark and had a bang over the head the night before, or had "magic mirrors" in her house, but to see a guy dress like that, well, I'd just think.... actually, I dont know what I'd think, but it definately wouldnt be good..

I'm trying to be polite too, honestly I am... I'm not bashing you for doing your own thing, but its not a good look for a larger woman and looks kinda sad on a larger guy

Given your shape, I'd ditch the stilettos, as others have previously said before, large person on top of a pin heel doesnt balance right visually..

The jacket looks far too small too and is cut totally wrong for your shape..

    What exactly are your goals?

What are you trying to emulate or look like?

Are you trying to look like a woman or like a guy in womens shaped clothing?

Be nice to hear others HONEST thoughts and hope they wont spoon feed the usual "Nice heels" empty comments that dont really help on occassions like this...

OK, I'm trying hard not to be offended.

Maybe I shouldn't have posted these pictures after all. I just knew what kind of reply I had to expect. Well, too late now.

I wonder how you can tell that the jacket is too small? I just left it open and holding the camera makes it fall back. It's definitely not too small.

Why the blouse and suit? Yes, I'm trying hard to look more fem, somewhere in between, as I can never really pull it off as Dr. Shoe can, for example. Moreover, female suits are 1/4 of the price of a mans suit. Strange, isn't it?

Sure the fit on the hips is not good, as I (naturally) don't have hips like that. And the chest surely is a little wide, again I'm missing the natural "assets" for that. But to me it just feels better. Simple as that.

Tech, I have never seen any pictures of you here on the forum, so naturally, I have no idea how you might look like figure wise. But assuming from certain snippets that you left here and there on the forum, I gather that you are normal shaped man who just likes to wear heels. If you have never been any fat as me, you probably have no idea what it's like. Baggy clothes no matter what kind tend to blur the shape and make it more, in want of better word, acceptable.

As for the pin heels, Ok, point taken. On a 2nd thought I guess you are right and a more block type would look better. It's just that I love the feeling of walking on pin heels.

I guess that was the first and last time that I will post pictures of me.

  8. Hello all, as suggested by Tech, I'm posting some full length shots of my business attire from last Friday. I was holding a basic training on certain products for some new colleagues. We were a group of 10 and I was showing some presentations in English, while translating the key points into German. I was wearing a female trouser suit, lilac blouse with glittery silver decorations and the 8 cm oxford pumps. Oh yeah, shoudn't forget my new lilac framed spectacles. The pictures are not that good as my only way for making pics is to photograph myself in a mirror. The problem is that I need to use the flash, so the upper part is outshone and hard to make out. At least I don't need to blur my face like that. I didn't wear the boots in pic no. 3, but I was soooo tempted. Anyway I didn't get any comment, nothing at all. Only one colleague cast a strange look my way after looking below the table I was sitting at. As I don't wear make up or any jewelry and I have very short hair (short as in "army cut"), I was "only" fem from the neck down. This is not the first time I went out in a similar attire, but it's the first time I made any pictures. Tech suggested wearing less baggy trousers, even some sharp pinstripe trousers. I don't know about that. Baggy trousers look better on me, being as corpulent as I am. Pinstripe trousers, on the other hand might really look better. I have another suit in pinstipe, maybe I try that next time. Cheers Markus

  9. #2 Would look much better with less baggy trousers, possibly even some sharp pinstrip trousers as those heat boots are very tidy, sharp looking boots that command smartness. (I presume those are the "heat" model?)

Quite right. That's the Heat-1015. I think with my figure (4XL), skinny trousers don't look good on me. Even though the black jeans on pictures 3-5 are skinny. What do you think? I have taken the pictures 1+2 wearing the trouser suit (f) from last friday. I have also taken full length shots, but they would probably fit better in the "General Fashion" section. I'm not sure if I should post them anyway.

No, 3 would be easy to wear in public. Not much style difference between mens and womens shoes, there. let us know when you wear No. 4 to work.

I do. Or do you mean No.5? I'm sorely tempted wearing the pumps to work. BTW those are the Seduce-420.

As for No.3/4 I regularly wear these. From the side they look like Cuban heels, only the almond toe and the slender heel from the back give them away as from the women section. My favorites at the moment.

  10. After quite a long time I got myself up to make a few photos of some recent purchases. #1: 8cm (3.25") Oxfords. I have worn these to a more formal function at work last Friday. I can't believe my courage sometimes... #2: 12cm (4.75") Ankle boots. I was sorely tempted to wear these to work insted of #1. But the metal heel is a little too flashy. #3: 5cm (2") Ankle boots for everyday wear #4: same as #3, from the back. I regularly wear these to work. The heel has sort of a cuban style looking from the side. #5: classic black 12cm (4.75") pumps. Again a sore test for me...

  11. - I don't know what it is, but I definitely work up a sweat when wearing heels outside. Yesterday's little hike was about 30 minutes, which usually I would be able to do without thinking. This time however, by the time I finished, I was drenched. Noone cared or commented, and it was a lot of fun, but I don't know why I get drenched. It was cold outside and I was dressed appropriately.

Sounds familiar, that's just nerves for me, so maybe it's the same for you. It still happens to me ever after all these years of public heeling. Maybe it's something that we never really can overcome.

    - I tend to hurry. The #1 problem seems to be that I hurry, and don't pay proper attention to where I do, posture, etc. I think things tend to look more natural if I'm not trying to run a marathon, but taking my time.

    Same as above, nerves:nervous:.

    - The few people I passed, or could have seen me from the passing cars, I noticed that my main worry was that I don't know them. Didn't rather care that they noticed my getup, just do not wish to meet people I know just yet.

Isn't it amazing how much we all feel the same, because again it's the very same for me.

  12. ...The lesson is to either not use the new posts feature...

That's exactly my way. I read this board folder by folder. Thus I can stay informed about the girls opinions while staying "safe".

  13. I would be curious about whether the ballets are lockable or velcro'd like the devious are, they look very similar to the devious range...

    Andi

They are velcro'd, just like the devious, but the main difference is (I think) that the heel is not too long. The sizing is generous. I take a EU44 and they are slightly too big, but OK with thick socks.

  14. First of all, Happy New Year everyone from Germany. 2nd: We all go through these mind games (me thinks) when going out heeling in public, but you will see, you'll get used to it after a few times. Maybe I'm not as flamboyant as Jeff here, wearing skirts and heels. But I've come to the point where I openly wear my heels, not trying to hide them anymore. Nothing very special, just what "Jane Doe" would wear, too. BTW these are gorgeous boots. Keep it up! Cheers Markus

  15. ...So back I go across the building clicking on the tile floor. At this point I notice that several people saw that I was wearning womens shoes as I passed them. On the way back I couldn't help but search peoples eyes to see what there reaction was going to be. To my surprise I received two smiles from beautiful women.

I have experienced myself that a lot women are quite accepting/supportive to a man expressing his sense of fashion. As your shoes are from Payless they would surely be a "normal" type of Oxford Heels, nothing from the fetish side, I suppose.

Cool this is getting fun now ... when one of our waitresses comes up and asks me where I bought my sexy shoes. I told her Payless and she complimented me on what I was wearing...

Once you pluck up the courage, it sure is fun. And isn't it great to recive such a compliment. I had that myself before.

  16. As suggested by Bubba136 in this post: http://www.hhplace.org/guys/15496-no_women_would_read_story.html#post227020 I was looking for the posts of "Joak". Unfortunately his websites are all down and for sale. So none of the photo links are working anymore. Too bad :cry1:. The last post of Joak was in 2004, last activity in 2006. So he's gone for good, I guess. Sometimes real life steps in and you have to make some choices, maybe this was the case here, too.

  17. Hello Yozz, It's interresting to see that your feet are even smaller than your wifes. Your size is 39 or 40 ... I'm jealous... You can go shopping on women side of the aisle without any problem. Maybe the mens section could be problematic for you, as the sizes often start from 41 only. And for shure you made a bargain there...:cry1: Nijmegen is not that far away from me, only a little more than 100 km. Maybe I should look for that shop, too. Cheers Marhil711
