Rightyo, thanks for all the feedback guys! It was a tricky time, it took me nearly a whole day of confidence to go to a shop store, and say "Do you have these in size 10?" Haha. But it was worth it. As for wearing them in public, i'm still a bit shy about my liking towards high heels, so i'm being very low key. However I am slowly building up an outfit to wear them at clubs and parties, for my first public outings. Now what to get for my second pair...

I know about alternative footwear, mind you just done some research. And had a look at Puss In Boots of Reading. Anyone know what they're like? I also heard they do over the counter ordering which is a bonus for me. I might go for that. I'll have to check them out in the flesh first.

Right, for myself I am starting from Winchester, nearest cities to me are Portsmouth/Southampton/Basingstoke. But as i've said i'm willing to go as far as London as I may be buying some platforms too up in London.

Rightyo, it's been taunting me for months now. I must buy some ballet heels! Here's the thing though, I don't want to buy them online, as I am a try before you buy person. And want to keep my high heels curiosities underwraps. I'm a size 10 in everyday footwear, and can travel as far as London. So does anyone know if there are places in the UK where I can go in store and buy some ballet heels?

Thanks for the warm reception. It's nice to know there is a community out there with like-minded folk! Although i'm yet to find anyone who's into heels male/female locally to explore/experience/share my heel curiosities as i'm still pretty new!

Hey there, long time fan of heels from Southern England. Well, where to begin introducing myself really? I'm 20, one of those rocker/metal types. And when it comes to shoes of choice it's normally within the mary janes area. Even though I don't own a pair of heels yet, I am looking to get some in the very near future. I'm not exactly a man of freestyle fashion, just some very curious and someone who enjoys to share experiences. Anything else really, feel free to say hello.

Don't worry. The MJ style is what I was aiming for to begin with! I'm quite picky when it comes to heels.
