  1. It took from March 16, 2010 to September 24, 2010 to get my shoes... Shoes are nice. Just what I wanted but.... 6 months... I almost gave up... Bad communication from seller. I didn't get a reply until I contacted Gina's other site to complain. Then they replied quickly. Still took a long time to get shoes. Bottom line: If you got time to wait... go for it

  2. UPDATE:

Finally, I did not buy the "Atlanticcity" model (too narrow) but I did try (for the first time) a pair of boot in the store (Aldo) and I decided to buy them. There was only 2 customers in store and I was very nervous. But I will do it again for sure...

    See picture below.

Good for you Daniel!!! You did it! Even with customers in the store. Wow! The boots that you picked are a very nice choice. Hope you enjoy them.

  3. Unfortunately, I am not "ready" to try them on the store yet... (I wish I could. Maybe one day) And I agree with you, all their shoes and boots are VERY nice. I didn't have the nerve to try them on in the store either. I went to the car and then took them back because they were too small. Funny thing... When I was about 20 years younger I went to a Baker's store and tried on a pair of shoes and I got caught by one of the girls that worked there. I was embarrassed but at that time I was catching the bus to the mall to buy shoes and stockings. So... I had the whole ride to the mall to get the nerve up. I had more courage then than I do now. :lmao: I guess I need to go see the Wizard for some more courage :w00t2:

  4. Something that I have noticed about shopping for heels.

    Helpful hint 1

Be aware of where you buy larger size shoes. Let's take Baker's for instance... When I go to Baker's in a more ethnic shopping environment. I will find my size easy. If I venture out to the suburbs. They don't have larger sizes. A saleswoman from the suburbs informed me that they don't carry larger sizes in this area. She said to try other malls in different areas (she didn't know how to say "ethnic type malls") but I got her point. So, basically... Bakers know where there larger size sales are.

    Helpful hint 2

A saleswoman from Aldo's told me that all there shoes run small. but Why why why... there shoes are so beautiful :w00t2: I tried on a size 11 pair of "Atlanticcity" and they where way to small (it felt like a size 9). It is almost impossible to find a size 12 at Aldo's. Such a bummer.

  5. I'm gonna go the whole hog and look like a drag queen - I wouldn't be surprised if I startled my fellow goths I'll meet :winkiss:. I'll wear a veiled hat, some jewellery, exagerrated make-up [lots of mascara, eyeliner, bloody red lipstick & lip gloss] and pantyhose in addition to my "typical" leather & heels.

Wow!! Go for it! That sounds like fun

  6. Go for the first look, and as a club employee, myself, I'd say you'd enjoy the time in heels behind the booth!

I'd have to admit. This isn't my first time working in the club in high heels. It's just this time I will be exposed.

  7. Ok, I have been beating myself up for the last 3 or 4 years. I am a discreet high heel wearer (to the bank, mail box etc.). I have been wanting to take advantage of Halloween too... If I may say, "let myself go"... Now I have plenty pairs of shoes, from cheap looking to very nice looking but I don't want to go out looking cheap. I want to grab the attention of the women and show them that... Yes, men can strut just a good as they can.

Ok, my problem is.... Do you have to look cheap on Halloween? I want to go as a Wo-man. Basically, half and half. The top part man, the bottom part woman. Can this be done? or is it too obvious that I am a cross dresser? I mentioned it to my friend (and she does not know I wear heels) and she said, go the opposite way, woman up top and man at the bottom. Of course my I said to myself "NO".

This is the bottom half of what I had in mind.... this or that

Oh... What I forgot to mention. I am a very popular DJ in my city and I will be working (DJ'ing) in front of 400 to 500 people of afro-american heritage.

Ok... what do you think? Too much or is it ok? Thank you for you comments.

  8. I just ordered a pair of them. They should be here tomorrow. HOPEFULLY :nervous: I had been admiring the Aldos brand. As a matter of fact I brought a pair from Aldos and they were way too small. So I had to return them :winkiss: but these don't look too bad... It is very similar. I know the quality won't be the same but... It's not like a street heel very much.

  9. I can't stop playing Swat 4. I want to cross over to Call of Duty 4 but I can't stop play this Swat game. Some other games I love was the Far car 1 (Very Long Game). I wish they had came out with Condemned 2 for PC. I heard that there was a lot of hacking of part 1 so they didn't do part 2 for pc. Love the Roller Coaster Tycoon Editions, of course Doom 1,2,3. I brought FEAR but never could get into it. but there is something about Swat 4 :winkiss:.... I need a prescription to stay off that game.

  10. My first pair of heels were brought at The Wild Pair in 1987. Some 3 1/2 sandals with 3 rhinestones on the front strap and had a ankle strap. Wish I would have kept them. I had some nice shoes back then
