Thanks to all who replied! lotsofheels, I can walk in them now and strighten my legs, but not for long periods of time otherwise the sides of my lower leg starts to ache. Lately my roommie's been in alot and I had tons of tests so I haven't had much chance to wear them. It's really sad that where I live flip-flops are the current fashion trend and they're here to stay. I might post some pics later on but right now I'm too busy with schoolwork...

thank you very much. Frankly, I'm surprised that I'm able to walk in these. Maybe there'll be a fetish event here sometime and I'll wear these out

I have 9 pairs, all around 4.25" with a tiny .25" platform, suitable for a night out without drawing too much attention, but people still gawk at them and wonder how I walk in them. Silly people

wow those louboutin ballet heels are sexy, but I doubt anyone can walk in those, what a shame...

well, these are actually by highestheels and I got them at pierre silber. However, I won't be surprised if you find the exact same thing in another brand. These companies seem to copy off of each other quite a bit. Btw, I can straighten my legs in them now! Can't walk gracefully though...I keep worrying that I'll put too much pressure on the heels and snap them off

these boots are rather strange. When I wear them I'm actually standing on the part where my toes connect to my foot. So far I can walk/wobble a few steps in them before I have to grab onto something. but yes they feel wonderful on! And I get such a thrill every time I put them on. If it isn't for my roommate's habit of bursting into the room at random times I'd wear them all the time.

Hi Melanie! I've just turned 18 two weeks ago and I thought I was the youngest one on here. Glad to find someone else close to me in age:silly: As for heels, the higher the better!

And if lack of funds is the problem there's always: a] second mortgage; b] take out another loan on the car; c] sell the car; d] pawn something; e] raffle off something; f] fasting 3 days a week; g] kick out the cat (or dog)...
Hehe option F sounds rather appealing, though I'd never last that long...
Unfortunately they rejected my card and the transaction just got cancelled today so I'm gonna try the money order route. Hopefully I'll get them soon.

Thanks for all the replies :] so far I don't own anything above 4.5 yet but now that I'm finally independent (dorm = semi-independent at least?) I have a feeling I will soon. And actually I posted a question on the everyone board regarding some boots. Please help me?

Stumbled upon pure luck onto the pierre silber site and found a pair of AWESOME boots.
http://www.pierresilber.com/fetishboots.html
This is love at first sight but I'm in a dilemma now...at 100 they're not quite in my comfort spending zone (which I guess can be easily remedied with a few months of no shopping) and I don't think I can actually wear heels this high for some months to come. On the other hand, it's a closeout item and I'm afraid it'll be gone if I take too long in deciding Does anyone know of other places that carry these boots? And what about the service at Pierre Silber?
thanks in advance ^^

I actually forgot how I found this site, but it's still one of the best sites ever created in the history of internet. I've been lurking here for a long time already and finally decided to join. My obsession with heels didn't start until I was 15 because literally nobody close to me worn them. Now my mom thinks I'm a freak since I wouldn't look at anything with a heel lower than 4" Cheers!
Numbness from heels after PROM?
in The Infirmary - Foot care and related issues

I wouldn't be too concerned about it. I worn 4.5" heels to a club once and danced for about 3hrs straight. Three small toes on my right foot were totally numb afterwards but the senses came back after a few days in flats. As for the experience thing, I usually wear 5.5" heels around the home Of course, if after a week it's still numb, I'd go see someone...
