Winklepickers ? like the pixie shoes with the pointed toes & buckes ? reminds me of Toyah Wilcox aka monkey in Quadrophenia ! they go so well with a cute elfin type haircut, they are really sweet.

I bought these recently from ebay, for £14.99

they are 8" not the most attractive of shoes but brand new

and the height is fantastic ! they are so light & with the 3" platform at the front really easy to walk in,

the seller was sexydresses4u you dont need to spend a fortune to get some serious height x

ohh i love the yellow & black ones ! they look a little heavy x

I bought them on ebay but they fell apart as soon as I stepped foot out of my house, I guess the glue holding the leather foot to the platform was very old, I have quite a few 70s platforms that need attention like that

I love these! the softest black leather the front curved up puss-in-boots style, with huge 7.5" wooden platforms, perfect to wear under extra long trousers & make your legs look so long, ahh the power of optical illusions

ohh i'm so excited to find this group ! I love high heels and have amassed a ridiculous collection of heels measuring 6" or above, I love platforms 1960s/1970s especially. My grandfather was an old fashioned shoe maker so i guess its in my blood
