Thanks for the replies. Think I’ll just try again and order some other ones. If it’s the same again, I think I’ll let it go for a while. Maybe the love for heels will come back, maybe it won’t or maybe it has evolved and I just need to figure out into what it has evolved.

So I just got a new pair of booties. Was very excited to get them, but when I put them on I felt nothing. And that’s the weirdest thing. Usually when I get new heels, I don’t want to take them off for weeks, but this time I just took them off and sent them back. It’s the second time this has happened. I think I’m done with heels? Weird, because they’ve been part of my life for so long...

Anybody with a similar experience?

I have a couple of size 8 New Look, but they are larger than other brands size 8.

I'm pleased to announce that I've ordered a new pair of Boots. It's the Kurt Geiger Carvela - Shake and they look amazing. I hope to get them on my feet next monday.

Another pair I recently got on my feet, and still have right now, is also made by Kurt Geiger Carvela but these are called Smirk. Probably named after the look on your face when you see them. They look a bit weird at first but I really love them. And you wouldn't say by just looking at them, but they are by far the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. I really don't want to take them off at the end of the day, and I can't wait to put them on as soon as I get the chance.

It feels a little bit too good to be true actually

She even left it open to go shopping for heels more often! One thing is for sure: I'm gonna make sure she will never leave my side!

Over the years I think i've given her over a dozen pairs of heels. All of which she wears with pride now I can join

Last week me and my girlfriend were out shopping and she was looking for some new shoes. We ended up at the Steve Madden store. She bought some flat boots and as we left I told here jokingly that I wanted to buy some heels. She looked at me and took it seriously. She knows I like to wear heels but never thought I'd would want to buy heels with her. The conversation was a little awkward to say te least. So we stopped talking about it. A little while later she brought it back up and I told her that I really would love to buy some heels. She was clearly having trouble to understand, but told me that if I really wanted it, I could. One string attached, I couldn't actually buy them myself, she would do it for me. So we went back to the Steve Madden store and I found some great booties. She went over to te counter and bought them for me. And as if this wasn't great enough, she told me that I wouldn't have to pay her back for the shoes. They where a present from her to me. I didn't even know what to say. The booties are Steve Madden Showie and I'll post some pictures as soon as I get to it

These are my latest acquisitions. I had to order from Payless.com it seems Payless is backing away from the larger sizes.To those who are anti-platform sorry. Hope the rest of you all enjoy. They all fit well and very comfortable as heels go. Happy Holidays everyone ! 

That's a coincidence. I've bought a couple of wedges myself. Will post some pictures when I've taken them.

I found a picture of them online. They're the most comfortable heels I have to this date. Can wear them all day without even the smallest of pains. And they are so incredibly soft on the inside, you wouldn't believe it. 

All that for barely €15,- I love sale

The only challenge for me is to go higher and higher. I just love the way my feet feel when they're arched.

just got some new dark blue pumps with 4.25" heels and a small platform. Thought i might give them a try with some skinny jeans, just to check what it looks like.

 

The shoes are from a local store, were about 20€, so quite cheap and still nice to wear.

Nice look! Great color! I have the same heels but in a different color. Mine are tan or nude or whatever that color goes by these days. They are very comfortable. The heel could be a little higher in my opinion though.

I was planning to go to halloween as "the bearded lady". I don't wanna shave off my beard for a cool costume, but also really want to wear heels this year. So I figured it was the best of both worlds. But all the planning turned out to be for nothing since there isn't a nice party around to go to this year. I'll keep the plan for next time though.

Me and my girlfriend got a couple of shoes in last week. The black ones are mine, the pink ones hers.

I just found out that we suffer from a medical condition called altocalciphilia. Basically it means that we really really really want to wear high heels or think about them to much. 

I didn't even know I was suffering from a medical condition. Personally I wouldn't call it that, I'd call it having fun. I love to wear heels and love it even more to see beautiful women parading around in nice heels. No suffering for me.

Do you think you're suffering (even sometimes?) from your love for heels?

Yes those are loubies. Not mine though. I'm not rich enough yet Probably won't fit em either. They seem to run very small and very narrow.

You're right dahool. I've heard it too. As far as I'm concerned the thigntes is al little bit more than I'm used to with other brands, but the size itself seems to be spot on or even a litte bigger.

New Carvela shoes here. Incredible heel of around 6.5 inches. They are a little tight in the toebox, but it'll stretch out. I just love the shiny nude top with the velours platform and heel.

I got 'em off ebay. Some company named Truffle made them. Never heard of them before but I'm more than happy with these heels. Have been wearing them since they came in earlier today

got some new ankle boots! they have a 6 inch heel and a 2 inch platform making them extremely easy to walk in an quite comfortable

I'd like to focus on the Netherlands for this one. So first of for the dutchies: what region are you from and what are your traveling capabilities. How far would you like to travel for a meet. Or maybe you now a place which would be perfectly suited for a meet. And a timeframe would help. I'd like to keep it as close to Amsterdam as possible. Don't know a perfect spot and as far a timeframe goes I'm the most flexible guy you know
