  1. Today, I was outside Tesco and got myself a trolley, to then find a woman, in her 60's looking for one as they wear in short supply. I then gave her mine, for which she smiled and thanked me and I then found another. A few minutes later, in the supermarket, we met and exchanged hellos and I waited until nobody else was nearby, then told her I couldn't help noticing, and that I hope she didn't mind me asking, but thought her black leather skirt ( just above knee length) looked nice, then made up an excuse about mother having a birtday soon and wanting one. I then asked where she bought it. She looked thrilled and thanked me, then explained she bought it a long time ago in a nearby branch of Debenhams, but they may still sell them. I felt a bit nervous, but pleased I'd made her smile. How would you have reacted and what would you have thought in a similar situation from a younger man?

  2. I occasionally see a woman shopping in our town, who is probably well into her late 60's to 70s. On several occasions, I 've seen her dressed from head to toe in leather and she wears the heels for the complete look too. A black leather matching skirt suit (tight mini skirt), several leather skirts and today she was wearing a matching dark brown leather trouser suit, hair in an adorable updo and immaculate make-up. I was sat drinking outside a coffee shop when she was stood nearby and chatted with someone for a few minutes. I could hardly keep my eyes off her. When she later walked past me I could hear her heels clack which added to the effect. Do you agree some older women can still look stunning in leather? Any good sightings?

  3. My mother, on one occasion wore her leather skirt to her office and had no complaints, but a couple of genuine comments. A former manager of mine arrived to work one evening wearing her matching brown leather skirt suit and the skirt was only about 16 inches long. She received it as a bithday present from her husband and was asking everyone to feel how soft the leather was.

  4. Can you remember what age you were or a particular thing/event that triggered your love of heels. or when you realised you had an obsession of heels? I remember coming home from school and a friend of mother's was there wearing some boots and I was asked what I thought of them. On saying they looked lovely, I was then told how lovely the leather was to touch and so I touched them
