I just ordered a pair of slingbacks from Pierre Silber. They should be here tomorrow. I can't wait!!!! I have been looking for a reasonably priced pair of slingbacks like this for a couple of years now. They didn't have them in a 12US so I decided to try the 13's since 12's sometimes run a little narrow for me. (crossing fingers)

That's too bad JH. I usually call ahead to shops that I would like to check out unless it's like payless or something. If I go to payless, I usually go there when they're not busy. Sometimes I ask the sales ladies to give me a heads up if anyone starts heading towards the aisle I'm on. They have always been very accomodating. Most of the fetish/lingerie shops I call encourage me to come in and try on any heels that I would like and will help you out by putting you and the shoes you want to try on in a dressing room if you want more privacy. If anyone comes in while you are there, just ask them to let you know when the coast is clear. Hope this helps. It sounds like the sales lady that was watching you was just plain weird. I find that if I'm up front with them, they are usually more helpful. of course, you can tell which ones are cool and which ones aren't within' a minute or two of talking to them.

Thanks for all the replies. I agree, there are some strange happenings on IRC. One of the channels I go to (#pantyhose) is pretty cool, well maintained and they do not allow any type of solicitations. Those who do solicit for websites and other things are kicked and banned from the channel. There are also other channel rules that keep things nice. Some of the folks on #pantyhose are into heels as well and think it could be a good thing. I'm open to suggestions though. I mentioned IRC because I'm familiar with it and have experience as a channel operator. Once I set it up, it will be on Dalnet. any suggestions for channel names? I was thinking maybe something not too obvious to keep some of the creeps away. Like naming it for a specific type of shoe? Speak up y'all Take Care David

black 4 or 5 inch pumps

What can I say, she's a great gal. This time I've definitely found a keeper. It's kind of funny though, she hardley ever wears high heels. I bought her a pair of black 5" pumps that she can barely walk in. I on the other hand, have no problem walking in 5" heels. We're planning to have a contest in a month or so to see who can walk better in them. Since I can already walk very well in them, I've got to give her some time to practice.

Miko Lingerie in Providence RI is my all time favorite. The sales ladies there are extremely helpful and supportive. This was one of the first places that I actually admitted to the sales lady that the shoes were for me. Not only did they bring me the shoes I wanted, they kept bringing out loads of others for me to try on! David

Spikes are my all time fave, and always will be but I do have a couple pair of chunky heels. For the ultimate sexy look, spiky is the way to go.

Stairs use to be a challenge for me, but, now that I've been living in a house with stairs for a little over a year, walking stairs in 4 or 5 inch heels is a lot easier. Right now I'm working on conquering concrete. I keep a pair of 5" pumps in my garage strictly for practice purposes. I think I'm doing pretty good for a guy. David

Not quite a month ago I posted on here about telling my wife about my heel wearing. So far everything is going well. Last night I decided to take it up a notch. Until last night the only womens shoes I had worn around here were my 4" chunky heeled loafers. (Payless) Well, last night I introduced her to my 5" pumps and she was ok with them. She did say that she wasn't necessarily turned on by them, but she is fine with me wearing them. How cool is that?

I would probably stick with what I'm wearing around home. Some sort of hosiery, black 4 or 5 inch pumps, jeans and a nice shirt. I don't feel the need to wear other articles of feminine clothing other than heels and hose.

Let's see, 4 pairs of black pumps, ranging from 3.5" to 5", one pair of 4" thigh high stiletto boots, two pairs of platforms, 2 pairs of loafers, and one pair of 4.5" sandals.

Good one Charlie! I'm pretty lucky in that my fiance is not a snooper. At least not that I know of. If she had been really snoopy, she could have found my collection by now. They're in a closet in 2 locked cases and I don't keep the key hidden. The only problem I'm going to have introducing the ones in my collection as new is the fact that I don't have the original boxes they came in. However, I didn't have a box for the 4" loafers I showed her the other night and she didn't seem to notice or wonder where the box was. On the other hand, if I wanted to, this would be an excellent opportunity to start my collection over. I do have some shoes that I need to get rid of anyway. For anyone that missed my post on "How quickly did you come out of the closet" I was debating on when and how to tell my fiance about me wearing heels. Well I told her last night, I took a little unusual approach to it, but it turned out fine. She doesn't know about my collection but, she's cool with me buying heels to wear. I guess I'll slowly introduce my collection as new buys. I didn't want to send her into shock all at once

JB, I agree with Firefox, I would have reported that guy so quick he wouldn't have known what hit him. I work in customer service and have zero tolerance for people like that. 10 to 1 says the guy probably tries on shoes there after hours anyway

Loveheel, yes, Miko's is a fetish shop. If you ever get back to Providence, you should check them out. I was suprised to say the least at how helpful the sales lady was. Not only was she helpful but she and the other ladies kept wanting me to try on more shoes! I have only been to one fetish store that the ladies weren't friendly and that's one I'll never go to again. They looked at me like I was crazy for wanting to buy womens shoes for myself. Miko's was an unforgettable experience for me. They're the only place I'll shop at when I'm in that area.

Well guys (and gals), the truth is out! She took it very well. Her words were "if I didn't leave you for wearing pantyhose did you actually think I would leave you over heels?" She doesn't know that I already had pumps, but, when I asked if she would mind if I bought some she said "like you could walk in them" I said "is that a challenge?" she said "Yes". Woo Hoo! The challenge has been accepted! Okay, so I wasn't totally honest, but, she's cool with the 4" loafers I showed her and she's cool with me trying other styles. So that's good enough for me. Thanks for the support I will tell you more about the "challenge" when it happens

Thanks highluc, we talked today a little about men wearing heels. I think she will be cool with it. I'm going to break her in easy though with a pair of 4" chunky heeled loafers and see how it goes from there.

Nice work Debbie Love the sound too! You can definitely add me to your list of requestors. You video inspired me to walk around in my garage wearing my 5" pumps. You've got to love that "click"! Carpet just does not do heels justice!

I know I need to tell her, we're getting married in two weeks. I'm afraid to though. The few time that I mentioned buying a pair of ladies shoes, even in jest, she was like "I don't think so!" I have worn a pair of womens knee boots in front of her before, the only thing she said was "I don't care for that much". When I asked her why she said "I just don't like the look". Even though I threw them out after she said that, she kind of knows that I have an interest in wearing heels. Those were the only heels I threw away Maybe I'll get enough drinks in me tonight to break it to her in a round about way. Maybe tell her that I've been seriously thinking about buying a pair of heels because they look so sexy on her and I want to try them for myself? Any ideas? Thanks
