  1. Hi, I have trouble trying to find shoes that fit. If it were not for my wide and high arched foot, I would fit the average 8 Aust(39) shoes etc, but alas my wide foot requires that I wear 91/2 (41). Does anyone have similar problems, and have you found styles that work?

  2. I have never bought shoes over the net. There is one or two stores in a major shopping centre that know the shoes are for me. Depending on how I feel, the number of other customers in the store, I either try them on or buy them, and they know they are for me and I can return them.

  3. In my younger days, my gf at the time was the same size shoe as I was. Any way, I invited her out for dinner, at which she said I need a new outfit. So we went shopping, new dress and shoes. Any, I liked these pair of strapping sandals with 3in heals. She wasn't overly thrilled, but they look nice with the outfit. Anyway, we bought the shoes and went out for dinner at a nice restaraunt. As my gf wasn't accustomed to wearing 3in heels, usually 1 1/2 - 2 in was the norm, she was complaining about them. Anyway, not listening to her whining, we went for a walk through one of the parks that overlook the city. She wasn't to thrilled about this, given that the sandles were already hurting, she said, "If you want to go for a walk, YOU wear the sandles, and I will wear yours", so we swapped and walked around the rest of the evening in hers, even drove back to her place and had supper still wearing the shoes. Unfortunately, I didn't get much opportunity after that with the exception of a few occasions.

  4. I rarely wear mens socks these days, the only time is anklets with sandshoes. To work, I wear mens shoes, with black trouser socks or black knee highs with the occasional black panty hose. Whilst wearing heels, bare foot, knee highs or stockings depending on the shoe and outfit.

  5. Maximillian, Congrats, the ability to blend in with the total look helps. Your ability to match the shoes with the outfit, makes the shoes look natural. I am from Australia, with a much smaller population which makes it harder to blend in. Hope you have many more successful outings. Hopefully in the future, men wearing heels will be no different than us wearing jewellery. ie earrings etc
