  1. I have pair of black maryjanes by nine west, and even though they are low heel (hardly none @ all as a matter of fact) they are THE most comfortable shoes I have EVER worn for all-day walking that I think I've ever had! I got them from www.zappos.com @ $49.95 and found them later @ MACYS dept store for $ 20 more ($69.95) and the best thing about zappos is FREE shipping (with every pair you buy) they look good with leather or denim pants!!

  2. well I'd say that this salesman is the dimwit for sure to treat a potental customer like that JB, VERY un professional!! (to say the least) I fully agree with firefox in that I would report him to the district office or company headquarters even! I mean gee wiz, talk about an idiot! I've seen that type many times in years past in both of my local malls where I live,so I know just what you mean JB.

  3. btw terayon, I love your platform boots. I have a very similar pair my self!! (I LOVE platform boots! esp. wedges one of which I'm wearing right now that I got from aldo shoes & my local mall (I live in the US, southern orange county southern CA)they good good with heavy leather levis denim levis and love to wear them with blue cut off levis and (like now) black spandex shorts!!

  4. well right now, I'm wearing my platform loafers with 4 inch heel, & they are VERY comfy to walk in all day long! I do have a pair of platform wedge ankle boots (from steve madden) that have 5 inches but they are also comfy to wear all long, because of the wedge platform design on them. I also have a 3 inch leather pair of knee high boots, but those are actually harder for me to walk in for any exented period of time so it seems to me that thicker platform types (wedge or regular) are easier to walk in for most of the day.

  5. oh yeah, I do wear my heels out in public, * I'll be damned if even CARE what strangers may think as they pass me by (or me them) believe me, there are LOT of boring clones out there, esp. where I live (south orange county CA, US) I am maybe the ONLY one that dresses like this around here & I'm VERY proud of it too!! more men should 2 least TRY to be more brave in their fashion ideas adn NOT so much like SHEEP (there were plenty of THOSE around whre I live years ago too, before it developed here)

  6. I agree shock queen about that all the rest ARE nothing but clones!!! and, yes they DO wear MUNDANE styles day in day out, I do get so tired of seeing it too! no imagination, no fashion tast whatsoever!! boring, boring boring!! thank god 4 this board! yours, Brad

  7. I have some sandels from steve madden like those ones with the wedge heel, but a little different in the top strap style. they are black and mostly have been wearing them in & around the house/outside area, but I may yet wear them 4 a walk this summer if it gets hot enough (which I think that it will) very nice design and style on them very comfy to walk in as well. yours, Brad

  8. it seems to me if you care to look @ those old 15th century paintings & such, you'll quickly find that MEN wore some pretty high heeled shoes (& boots ofcourse) so how is it that all this time has gone by only to NOW tell us (in recent decades) that high heels are for WOMEN!!? there is somthing in the western mind that has COMPLELTY changed around a very BASIC concept of MASCULIN fashion I have always found those shoes very good looking on those men, whoever they were.

  9. yes most men ARE sheep so to speak, they seem to have little or NO fashion sense what so ever and are in fact weak when it comes to being themselves (myself exepted ofcourse) I see this in the malls all of the time and it just seems so redundant in the mens dept the same stuff year after year footwear, and most other styles you can think of!
