Got some new tall platform wedges. They're Steve Madden Xenon with a 5.5-inch heel and a 1.5 inch platform.

Thought I'd post one picture here and another in who has new shoes. The picture is a closeup of my latest wedge purchase, Steve Madden Xenon. I can understand why ladies like wedges so much. I can walk with no trouble in these even with a 5.5-inch heel and 1.5-inch platform. Anything over a 3-inch heel in a stiletto heel is tough for me. I have learned to love the open-toed varieties of wedges. They are so easy to walk in that I have three pairs.

Here are a couple of pictures of what I'm wearing later to go to Montrose in Houston, a heel and skirt friendly area. I'll be on my feet a bit, so the heels are 3.75 inch wedges with a 0.5 inch platform. The clothes are very average, just a black pencil skirt and white blouse.

I'll vote for the ankle boots.
