In another thread there was a link to this online store in the U.K. I looked through there high heels and found this pair of T-Straps I would really like to know more about.

IE: What is the heel height?, Can I find them on this side of the pond?, What size to order (there size chart is confused)

Any help would be apprecieated

Hello and Welcome Eggnog. I am Ruth Heel. Me and my husband are into heels big time. Litterally.lol What part of Missouri are you from? I have family in Missouri. My husband family in Poplur Bluff, Missouri. I know you will have fun here. You came to the right place.

It is a matter of preference and taste to each individual. These men including my husband love heels. And are trying to break free of the box that society has put them in. It sounds like you are tying to put them back in the box. It is because of opinionated people that we have this community. A place where we can go and share with others our likes and dislikes. And meet new friends who share a common ground. As my husband says. "Real Men are not afraid to wear Heels. Well I changed it just a little. lol. At any rate I love my man in heels. It is very sexy that a man can wear heels and be himself.

Sheer nylons is perfectally acceptable with open toed shoes or strappy sandals. It is an ellegant touch. Go for it.

I'd love to come check this out, but we're in FL so its a decent trip. Just curious, but what date in Oct are you thinking?

Autumn is my absolute favorite season of the year. I love long sleeve shirts with jeans and heels. I have a new pair of ankle boots. I can't wait to wear them. Here is a pic.

Welcome Tinkerbell; One of the first things my hubby made me aware of when we first met was his passion for heels. So I had to ask the 6 dollar question.lol "So, do you just like to see women wearing them or do you actually wear them your self?" He wasn't a bit bashfull about his reply. We both now own A LOT of heels and a couple even matching. We have so much fun with it. If you are around the Canton Oh. area the 18th of Oct., we are having a mini heel meet. just thought I'd introduce myself, I'm a 27-year old dood from Pittsburgh (actually closer to Greensburg in Westmoreland County), AKA Steeler country. I'm a die-hard football fan (gridiron, for those outside the states), love to draw, write, hang out with my buds, camp, drink, work on my computer, and of course shoes.

My case is a little peculiar because I'm really only into vintage shoes from the 80's era, like 9 West, Jazz, Sam & Libby, numerous off-beat brands, Wild Pair, etc etc, hence my username. I like heels but also I like flats a lot,.... but heels and boots get the extra nudge.

My affection towards shoes started as early as 7 - 9 years old. My memory is a little hazy about actually how it started, but I do remember that my babysitter at the time used to give me her shoes to play with. My mom eventually fired her, though (different reason). Growing up I had a lot of free time, alone, after school since my mom was usually working two jobs to support my brother and I. When I wasn't out playing with my friends,.... yeah, you know where this is going. I still blame my babysitter though.

Anyway, just thought I'd say hi, I don't know how often I'll post since I only have weekends and the ossacional late night to post (RL always gets in the way), but I'm sure I'll join in some conversations now and then

Being johnieheel's wife, I have learned a lot about straight guy's wearing heels. I find it very disturbing to me that guys have so many issues of wearing heels in public because of narrow minded people. I love my man heels and all. He is completely straight. It has upset me that johnieheel has returned to square one. It is very imature to ruin a relationship over what men wear on their feet. I say Cheers to you guys. Wear your heels anyway and wear them proudly. Take no crap from anyone. Be yourself. If you can't be yourself who can you be.

That is to economical. It would take the fun of of buying heels for every occasion.

I agree with Roz. I like wearing flip flops. People shouldn't be so clumsey when they walk. I like tastful flip flops not ugly ones.

I love the look of jeans tucked inside knee hi boots. But I never wanted to draw attention to myself. However I am trying to step oustide the box. I plan on wearing my jeans inside my boots this year. I have a pair of grey pointy toe boots that are to die for but have never worn them out. What a waist!!.

Yo people, just a rapid question.

How do you prefer boots, on top or underneath jeans?

I love below the knee boots. I am not a thigh boot person. My favorite is ankle boots, or just below the calf. I never wear them outside my jeans because I don't like putting my jeans inside the boots. I do think it is a very sexy look, I just don't do it. I will break out of the box and wear knee hi boots with tight jeans inside the boot this winter.
