Yes, quite well developed! I am quite amazed since I am a horse (non-human) owner and I am not sure I would want to be my horses. Depends, I suppose, on your desire tp be controlled. ST

You think there is a bonadge angle to pony boots? What other reason to try to make yourself an animal? You then can be the servant of another. I do completely agree that there is this challenge - can I wear that and look good. Still working on my nrw ballets

balletbooter - No, Devious I think I will try Dr. Shoe's advice. I tried standing with the toes on a 1cm thick board and I could straighten my knees in comfort (relatively speaking). Just have to make it not spoil the look of the boots

Maybe we can average - I have the opposite problem!

I have always thought pony (or in my case horse) boots erotic. It is the idea of having your feet and hands trapped immobile that is the appeal. Having shoes nailed to your feet. Being a beast of burden.

I wanted to offer a more personal thanks. I have a similar reation from my wife (and me, truth be told). I Wish someone made "masculine" ballet boots. But at any rate, I am 9 years your junior, but my knees seem no better set up for this sport:)

Thanks for the link. Excellent story! ST

Can I change my vote? Since voting i have become the proud owner of a pair of ballet knee high boots

Hey JimC - Got them about a week ago. Had a few trial wearings including some very tottering walking (holding on to things along the way). Look spectacular! Will take some practice though. As I have read here, it seems like the heels are slightly too tall and if you straighten your knees the toes don't reach the floor. I will try to remedy this soon. Thanks for the interest! ST

I have a fantasy story of the "be careful what you wish for" ilk: You have a pair of boots that you really like to wear. You dream you could wear them all the time. You fetish godmother comes to grant your wish. Your boots are bronzed, like baby shoes. They become rigid and unremovable. Mettalic boots that cannot be removed unless etched away in an acid bath. Especially compelling if your favorite boots are ballet boots.

I have just discovered this forum so I cannot claim to have read all previous posts but what I have seen agrees with my experiences. I often wear thighboots (not high heel for reasons thast will become obvious) to walk the dogs in the woods adjacent to our property. I do this in the early morning, but still meet other walkers of the forest. They have been, without exception, very accepting and made no comment on my attire. I think most people are quite willing to tolerate any activity that does not threaten them directly. Teenagers are naturally theatened by everything since they are learning the world, so they are dangerous for sure

Hi Stomcat, and welcome to the forum. I'm sure you will find plenty of threads about boots and things here
Thank you Firefox. I am quite confident that I will find much to enjoy here!

A good place to see/wear Victorian or Edwardian clothing is at carriage driving or coaching events. Period clothing is required and always includes boots, gloves etc. Can be fun ST

I too am to receive a pair of Devious boots next week. My first ballet boots! I will report my progress in learning to make them look good while I wear them. ST

I have slightly overstated my position in the poll. I like the look of ballet boots on others, but am 1 week from wearing them myself. My wife has bought me a pair as a gift and they are to arrive next week. I hope that I can do my fetish justice!

Good to hear from all of you. Hi again, Dr. Shoe!

Hello to all. Just joined and am enjoying exploring this forum. Some info about me: I am a straight male who enjoys wearing boots and seeing women (especially my wife) in boots. I own many pair, both knee and thigh high, though the only high heels are cowboy style.
An addendum -
I forgot that I am soon to have a pair of ballet boots 9a gift from my wife). I guess those count as high heels !
Also, for those who are curious, I have uploaded some pictures:
