Never sent home or even ever spoken to about what I wore. I was always very style conscious and my clothes and shoes were of high quality and expensive so I think that helped.

I have three corsets, all custom made and all heavily boned. They are the perfect compliment for heels in that they continue accenting my figure by modifying my posture. If anyone is planning to buy one I strongly suggest the underbust models. They usually are a better fit and more forgiving. If you want the uplift look wear a wired push up bra with it and the results are truly amazing.

I've gotten negative comments on two different fronts. As many others, the "CFM" shoes comments are common. The other though are the, "I need to tell you what's good for you" type of comments. I've had women both younger and older than me make comments directly to me telling me how bad heels are for my feet as well as my overall health. I can't believe anyone would come up and make suck statements to one they have never have met.

Pointed is my preference but I have to admit the new rounded ones have a sort of sexy 40's retro look to them.

I'm the exception here I guess. I love the look of metal heels. I have black patents with 5" gold metal heels and a pair of red with silver and white with silver. I do have to watch the surface upon which I'm walking though. They will do a lot of damage!
