  1. I've lacing from 32 down to 26/27 by myself. The trick I use is to hook the front first and then rotate the corset around until the laces are in front. Then snug them up and adjust the inner liner as you do this. I usually only snug up enough to still leave about a 3 to 4 inch gap which still allows me to rotate the corset back to the lacing in the back. Next now start to pull the laces to determine the waist. Pull on both the top and bottom lacing but mostly the top. Now I reach behind with one hand and up as high as I can to pull the lacing near the top of the corset. When you pull on these laces you will be pulling only the top part of the corset together until the edges touch. I then pull the main loops of the lacing again to remove the slack as if I were trying to tighten from the main loops. Again I reach behind and grap a little lower the lacing and pull down these laces again to further tighten some more of the upper corset. After this I again pull on the main loops to remove the slack. I continue this process until I am able to pull on the main loops and am able to tighten the corset completely together. Now pull on the lower lacing to tighten the lower corset edges together. This is easier since on a male there are only about 4 to 5 eyelets below the waist. This method takes less strength to pull on the laces and I am able to reduce my waist a full 6 inches. Usually I only reduce 5 1/2 inches because I may not be able to that day handle the full reduction with no discomfort. Give it a try and enjoy your corset.

  2. Just got my 2nd corset which will reduce my waist from 32 to 26. Currently I'm almost down to 27. I can see it will take awhile to achive full reduction. My old corset was a back laced Meschantes and reduced to 28 which was very comfortable even to sleep in. This one is much more restrictive. I attached my nylons and put on my 5 1/2" heels with ankle strap before lacing. This way I could bend to accomplish those tasks. I purchased a black with blue floral pattern overlay Temptress corset from Meschantes and will post pictures later. Below is the type of corset purchased.

  3. Your a little more daring than I to sit outside and watch the clouds but then again it was in the evening. I assume then that you put your heels and corset on again the next morning as long as your wife was still away. I put on my corset, heels and pretty much completely crossdress almost every day of the week. Sometimes I even sleep in my corset but I take off the heels for that is to uncomfortable.;)

  4. I'm 5'6" mens 9 to 9 1/2, womens 11 closed toe and 10 open toe. I can wear 5" heels all day, 5 1/2" almost all day, 6" to 6 1/2" 4 to 5 hours with some sitting down and then I need to switch to the lower 5" or 5 1/2". I wish my feet were smaller to allow me to get 1/2 size shoes. Sometimes the full size is not quite correct.

  5. It's amazing how wearing a corset makes you walk in heels. The corset is restricting and then wearing 5" or higher heels seems to add to the restrictive feeling. You tend to walk with more purpose and grace. As stated earlier you do need to be somewhat flexible to tie off the laces in the back. If that doesn't work you can tie them off in the front but that will reduce the life of the corset. I did buy a corset liner which is worn under the corset and it made a nice differance in how the corset moved while tightening up the laces and was easier on my skin. I purchased the liner from Wasp Creations and they will make it to your measurements. Enjoy your corset and walking around in your high heels.;)

  6. Fabulous shoes. As stated earlier I know you will get acclimated to them in no time. Your pictures already show they are meant for you. I also enjoy the 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 high shoes. That gel pad is a trick I didn't try yet thanks for the info and post some more pictures.;)

  7. I think it is up to the individual if they like ankle bracelets then wear them. As for me I found a pendent necklace that when I wrap it around my ankle makes a nice bracelet. I also wear it outside of the nylons.

  8. Thanks for the info on the tight lacing journey. I currently have a natural waist of 32 and wear a 28 corset daily. I purchased the corset from ebay off the Meschantes site and didn't realize they also had a site not through ebay. After looking at http://www.meschantes.com/ I decided to order the Temptress. I ordered it in a blue floral on a black background with a 26 inch waist. The first corset was just a waist size and basically a standard off the rack model. This one will be made to my measurements so as you said the waist won't lower the corset below the bra bottom and should fit better.

I am also going to check out some of the stories on the LISA (Long Island Staylace Association) site!!!

  9. Does anybody wear a corset while wearing high heels? I just received a corset which came from Meschants. It is black with 8 garters but doesn't have the front busk fasteners. That is the only bummer.

I find it enhances the way I feel with the corset reducing my waist 4 inches and the nylons getting drawn tight by the garters. Then it is an adventure to walk around in my high heels. It is hard to explain the experience and feeling.

The other topic I would like to ask is where do any of you buy your corsets and are they custom made to your measurements? I would like to purchase another corset but with a 6 inch reduction, a front busk and would like to keep the cost down. Some of the sites I have looked at do the custom making but want to charge up to $460. The one site I looked at is http://www.waspcreations.com/ which makes corsets to fit men. Are there others?;)
