No no, the toes are fine. Nothing missing or deformed. Just scars on top, pretty much right on top of the joint closest to the nail.

Hi all. I've really been wanting to expand my heel collection lately and figured since its been so warm, why not do it with some nice open toed heels! Well, unfortunately, a number of years ago as a kid I got the toes on my right foot caught under the wheel of my bicycle in some gravel and scraped up my toes pretty good. So now they are scarred up. Not hideous by any means, but still, whether I go out or not, I would still be conscious of it in the open toed heels. So, would you wear tights with them (which I absolutely love wearing tights anyway) or would you just go without? Just more of a what would you do, not what should I do. Thanks!

The few times i've had the opportunity to go up and down stairs with heels on, i did it a few times in a row to know what it felt like and to know how i needed to position my feet. Mostly for going down. But i still use the banister for safety sake.

I'd like to try them. I think its a different way to think of a high "heel". I think that it could even help improve walking with a heel.

Gotta go with rounded toe. Open is a close second though.

Definitely tights and hosiery. I absolutely LOVE the way it feels against my skin, plus it makes wearing heels all the better! Goes for leotards and unitards as well since they are made close to the same materials.

Thanks for the post, BeachHeeler. After my first purchase online and receiving them I realized that I cannot simply add 2 to my size. Oh well, since it's a pair of boots, I can just add thick socks and heel on! Wish I had the courage to try on in public so I knew they would be a perfect fit. Maybe in the future...and in a different town (everybody knows everybody around here! lol)

Love the boots burton85! Personally, I prefer knee high stiletto's. Maybe something with a little but larger heel, but nothing chunky. Side zip or lace up, makes no difference to me. Depends on my mood. lol
